Kristin Cavallari Knows It's 'Horrible' to Dump Via Text, But Still Does It: 'I'm F------ Heartless'

{content:

"Hills" alum Kristin Cavallari admits she is actively trying to text-dump her latest guy -- but he's not getting the hint.

To anyone who might suddenly find themselves dating Kristin Cavallari, be prepared as the reality star admits she's "f------ heartless" and will dump via text.

The reality star broke down when she chooses to go this "f----- up" route, as well as her absolute commitment to it, despite knowing that "it's horrible."

The way she broke it down on the latest "Back to the Beach" podcast with co-host (and ex) Stephen Colletti, it's not always her go-to approach. But, she's not shy about doing it early in a relationship. "If I've only hung out with you a couple times and I'm like, 'This is going nowhere,'" she said.

That must be what just happened, because Cavallari went on to admit she was in the middle of a text breakup situation right now, though it wasn't going particularly great. Apparently, he didn't take her dismissal well.

"I got multiple voice notes back," Cavallari said of this latest unnamed suitor. "I was like, 'S–t. I should probably send you a voice note, but I don't even want to.'" Instead, she admitted to the "cop-out" move of texting back.

"I'm still f----- heartless, I guess," she said. "But no, it was nothing serious so I was just like... it is what it is."

According to "The Hills" alum, she tried to dump him the night before recording this podcast, but he just wouldn't let go. He "kept fighting it, kept going and kept going," she said.

The morning of the podcast, she said she sent him a text telling him, "Just let me know when things settle down for you. We can pick this back up later," but he didn't respond.

"So that's not a good sign," she laughed. "He might not be too happy with me, but here we are."

If he thought the relationship worth fighting for before she recorded the podcast, he should be pretty clear how committed she is to being done with it now that the podcast is out -- and maybe happy she didn't drop his name.

This isn't the first time the 36 year old has talked about her struggles out in the dating world since her 2020 divorce from Jay Cutler. In a recent chat with Rachel Bilson on her "Broad Ideas" podcast, Cavallari said she's been attracting married men and "a lot of kids in their 20s."

She was also pretty clear that due to her busy schedule, she's not looking for anything serious right now. "I want to just be mom and then work-wise my schedule is pretty busy until May, and then I'll have a bit more free time, but I just need to hunker down right now and focus on me."

Cavallari has three children she shares with Cutler: Camden, 10, Jaxon, 8, and Saylor, 7.

She hasn't given up on dating casually, she noted, just that she doesn't have the capacity for "anything serious" quite yet. "I'm just not in a place for it right now," she said. "Which is fine."

Back in August, Cavallari opened up about the qualities she was looking for in a man: "Someone who is sooo comfortable in their own skin, looking to continuously grow, someone who isn't afraid to build me up and let me be me, emotionally mature who isn't afraid to express their feelings and needs (which goes with being comfortable in their skin), someone who can make me laugh, laid-back, healthy lifestyle."

She also pointed out she's looking for "someone really confident (NOT COCKY) who isn't threatened by everything else in my life. That's been a struggle for me."

On top of all that, "Hot doesn't hurt either."

Chaka Khan Disses Mariah Carey, Adele, Mary J. Blige Over Rolling Stones Best Singers List

{content:

Chaka Khan ranked 29th on Rolling Stone's best singer list, coming behind Mariah Carey, Adele and Mary J. Blige, leading her to decry, "These must be the children of Helen Keller!"

It was controversial when Rolling Stone first released their best singer list on New Year's Day, and it's become controversial again now that number 29 has discovered its existence -- and who ranked higher than her.

Chaka Khan was a guest on Los Angeles magazine's "The Originals" podcast and had no idea the list even existed until it was brought up during the show, per The Daily Mail. To say she was unimpressed would be a gross understatement.

The legendary singer had a respectable ranking in the Top 30, but she was more bothered by some of the singers the magazine ranked higher than her. When told Mariah Carey placed higher than her, in fifth place, Khan said, "That must be some payola or some s--- like that!"

In response to Adele landing higher than her on the list (22nd), Khan simply said, "Okay, I quit." But she finally erupted when 25th place Mary J. Blige was mentioned.

"These b------ are blind as a motherf------ bat! They need hearing aids. They don't have hearing aids? They have no eyes. They have no ears. They must have a -- these b------, you know what? These must be be the children of Helen Keller!"

As noted by The Daily Mail, her vitriol after Blige's name came up may have to do with more than just the list. The two women have some history dating back to a 1992 cover of Khan's "Sweet Thing" by Blige. Khan was not impressed, calling it "the song Mary J. Blige f----- up" in her own concerts for years.

The two did reconcile, at least somewhat, in subsequent years -- at least enough to collaborate on a duet together, "Disrespectful."

Khan did not say anything negative about the list's eighth singer, Beyoncé. "I'm not gonna comment on that," she said, before adding, "she's a great singer, okay? She really has opportunity to be a great singer. She has what it takes. She got the chops, she does, okay?"

Khan, who is famously candid with her thoughts about her fellow artists, denied years ago ever calling Beyoncé a b----, so her careful response might have come with a full awareness of that.

The Masked Singer Recap: Epic Unmasking Reveals Pioneering Hip Hop Legend

Khan also took no issue at all with the top voice on the list. Rolling Stone put Aretha Franklin at number one, "as she f------ should be," Khan agreed. She also thought it was "great" Whitney Houston scored number two.

Ultimately, though, Khan said she doesn't put too much weight on the list. "These people don't quantify or validate me in any way," she told the podcast.

Other female vocalists ahead of Khan on the list include Billie Holiday (4), Patsy Cline (13), Celia Cruz (18), Nina Simone (21), Dolly Parton (27), and Mahalia Jackson (29). The legendary Queen of Funk wasn't the only critic of the list, either.

Celine Dion fans, in particular, were horrified to find that their favorite didn't even make the magazine's Top 200. Other artists snubbed from the list entirely include Madonna, Cher, Janet Jackson, and Nat King Cole.

All lists are controversial, but these snubs made this one particularly so, and definitely gave people something to argue about on the New Year's Day holiday.

Will Smith Gives First Award Acceptance Speech On-Stage Since 2022 Oscars Slap

{content:

Will Smith took to the stage at the African-American Film Critics Association Awards to accept the Beacon Award, shares difficult scene that connected him with his Emancipation character.

Will Smith has finally returned to the awards show circuit, making his first on-stage appearance and acceptance speech since "the slap" at the African-American Film Critics Association Awards on Wednesday.

Honored with the Beacon Award for the challenging slavery film "Emancipation," Smith was joined on-stage by director Antoine Fuqua, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Fuqua took a moment to explain its significance, noting that it "is intended to highlight films that are tackling challenging subjects with insight, enlightening, as well as engaging the audience."

When Smith took to the stage, he described the project as "the most individual difficult film" of his career, saying that he found it challenging as a performer to "transport" his modern brain to the mentality of living in that time of American slavery.

"It's difficult to imagine that, that level of inhumanity," he said.

He then shared a moment from the filming that unfortunately helped him a bit to find that inner place of understanding of what it might have been like to be Black in such an era of injustice.

It happened almost immediately, too, with Smith saying that one of his fellow performers, who was white, went off-script on Day 2 of the film shoot. "I did my line. He did his line. And then he ad-libbed and spit in the middle of my chest," Smith shared.

Smith portrays Peter in the film, an enslaved man who never gives up on his dream of freedom. The character is an amalgamation of real individuals largely based on a famous photograph of a man's back covered in whipped scars.

"If I had pearls on, I definitely would've clutched them," Smith said of the impromptu moment he was spat upon. "I wanted to say, 'Antoineeeeee,' but I stopped, and I realized that Peter couldn't have called the director."

Instead, he immersed himself in the mindset of his character, who would have to endure such an indignity -- and far worse -- at the hands of any white man. Smith said the actor ad-libbed in the same way for the second take.

"I just held in that moment, and there was a part -- it makes me teary right now -- there was a part of me that was grateful that I got to really understand," Smith continued.

Thankfully for his experience so early in the shoot, he said that Fuqua called for another take, but "without the spit."

"And in that moment, I knew that God was real," Smith told the assembled audience.

He went on to thank the AAFCA and Apple TV+ for not only championing the film, but allowing them to balloon the budget, saying the studio "never flinched. It was the first time I had heard from a studio that the story was more important than how much it costs to get it done."

Smith's last on-stage appearance came during the 2022 Oscars where he went off-script himself, storming the stage and slapping Chris Rock across the face over a "G.I. Jane" joke directed at Jada Pinkett Smith. Jada suffers from alopecia, which Rock insisted he did not know.

"Keep my wife's name out your f------ mouth!" Smith shouted repeatedly at Rock after returning to his seat. In a controversial decision, he was not removed and was allowed to give a speech later in the night when he won Best Actor for "King Richard."

Smith subsequently apologized and resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. The organization has since admitted it did not handle the situation particularly well. It also banned Smith from appearing at any Academy event, including the Oscars, for 10 years. He can still be nominated and win.

The "Emancipation" star did not attend the NAACP Image Awards on February 25, where he took home the award for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture. That ceremony was televised on BET and Paramount+.

Instead of accepting in person, Smith took to his Instagram post to share his acceptance speech, or a social media variation of it, confirming that he was tuning in by commenting on host Queen Latifah. You can check out his response below.

The Masked Singer Recap: Epic Unmasking Reveals Pioneering Hip Hop Legend

{content:

It's the final night of competition for Group 1 -- can Medusa retain her crown against Polar Bear and the five-member assault that is California Roll.

It only took them nine seasons to do it, but "The Masked Singer" finally gave Robin some love by allowing him to showcase his own track "Living in New York City" to kick off the show.

His moment was immediately overshadowed by one of the most stunning, iconic and legendary maskings in the history of the show. Seriously, this is one of the biggest gets that you can get in the entertainment industry -- and that includes Week One's epic Dick Van Dyke reveal.

It was a big show, too, for the contestants as this week wraps Group 1 and crowns a winner who advances automatically to the quarterfinals. Could Medusa hang on after knocking down four other singers before this week's show to take that spot, or would there be an upset at the last minute?

There's also the fact that the panel hasn't yet run the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell, a new addition this season that allows them to save one eliminated contestant from the chopping block. That singer keeps their mask on and moves to a Wild Card round. There, they face off against the other saved contestants, with only one making it to the quarterfinals with the Group winners.

Let's jump right in with this week's masks. And don't worry, before we get to the shocking unmasking, we're going to make you power through the terrible (and occasionally good) guesses made by our illustrious panel of Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger first. We do this because we love ... to torture you.

Along with the panel's guesses, we'll be sharing some internet speculation, too, so if you don't want to be potentially spoiled (because they are very good at this), you may want to skip past the guesses sections.

MEDUSA

("New York, New York," Frank Sinatra) Medusa again delivered something very different, starting in an extremely low register on this standard. She kept the performance subdued throughout, but still offered a few glimpses of the power and range of her voice. There was a beautifully sweet falsetto moment, too, but it was her tasteful restraint throughout that drew us right in.

Guesses: White recapping some of her journey so far, Medusa shared that she was performing her dad's favorite karaoke song tonight, adding that they grew up singing together. She also showed a white terrier head as a clue. But was it just a terrier, or was it Food Network star Duff Goldman, who competed as McTerrier last year. She was referring to?

She also shared that she was shocked to have beaten a music industry legend last week in Debbie Gibson, meaning she doesn't classify herself in that category. Jenny immediately shot down that notion by saying she'd be surprised if Medusa doesn't have a wall full of Grammys.

Certainly, hers is a well-trained and seasoned voice that's been on stages doing this for long enough that it comes with a certain ease to her. All the accolades from Jenny and Nicole left Medusa humbled and in tears.

Luann de Lesseps came out to represent NYC with the celebrity clue, and Medusa even got starstruck to be on the same stage with her. Luann had come with a clue that looked like a Brooklyn Bridge replica adorned with lights. "Sometimes you have to build a bridge to get over it. Hopefully, it will put you in the right state of mind."

"We have a love thing going," Luann quipped about Nick while she was out there, but it was Robin who got in the best dig. He replied without missing a beat, "We always find out nine months later." Nick leaned into it, ushering her off the stage by calling her, "My new baby mama!"

Back to the show, though, Nicole is still thinking this might be Lorde, but shifted to maybe considering Florence Welch due to the "Dog Days Are Over" possible terrier connection. The audience liked the Lorde suggestion, but shut down Florence entirely so she threw out Shirley Manson, instead.

Ken got booed right away for his terrible Susan Boyle guess, while Robin got a much stronger reaction for his Kesha guess. Most people really don't knew the full breadth and scope of her voice. She was on an album with Chris Martin and has done Coachella. He also referenced the clue that Medusa has been on this show before, but in a different capacity, which could just be covers of her songs.

Still, we can't hear anyone other than Fergie now that the internet has been leaning that way since the first week -- and only feeling more and more confident with each subsequent performance. We like Kesha as a guess (and she'd be great on this show), and there were a few other names tossed around, but we're feeling pretty confident at this point!

POLAR BEAR

("Rapture," Blondie) Polar Bear was terrible. Like, seriously terrible. Why on earth did he pick this song after making it pretty clear that he's not a singer in his clue package. At best, he's a rapper so why not try that? His voice was timid, scratchy, shrill and grating all at the same time.

Guesses: All of his clues seemed to point to him being a groundbreaking DJ. His costume had records on it, turntables were part of his visual setup in the clue package and he literally said he "turned the tables" on the music industry.

He said his neighborhood got a bad rap (which had us thinking rapper or a DJ who worked with rappers), while sharing that he used to mess around with electronics growing up, which is how he found his new sound that changed the game.

There was boxing imagery, a scratch-off lottery ticket (scratching records) and even a literal message in a bottle. He then said he was there to honor a fellow New Yorker who changed the game like he did before busting out the worst Debbie Harry impression possibly ever.

His crowd work between the verses left us even more convinced that he's a deejay, who was definitely having fun out there. He probably knows what a mess he is as a singer, but said where he comes from there's "nothing but swag."

The Long Island Medium, Theresa Caputo, made her hair bigger than ever to come out and do a reading on Polar Bear. She said he was giving off star power vibes and she could totally see him at a podium giving a speech. "I think it's actually an acceptance speech," she clarified, "At the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame."

That certainly raises his pedigree. Is this one of the OGs of the entire hip-hop scene who created record scratching and sampling from the very start?

Robin's take on that, with the HoF clue really narrowing it down, was that this might just be DJ Jazzy Jeff, who was one of the earliest artists in the nascent hip-hop movement, though we're wondering how influential he was. But Nick and Polar Bear shut that down right away, since Jeff is from Philly.

Even Polar Bear was hating on Ken's Diddy guess, ultimately vetoing it entirely. He's not even going to let the decent guesses go by without shutting them down, telling Jenny her Flava Flav guess is "wro-o-o-ong," too.

Nicoole, then, got a very different reaction fro Polar Bear for her guess, making it seem pretty likely that she was onto something. Could the show have really pulled Grandmaster Flash? He created the very idea of scratching, which was heavily hinted at in the clues, as well as backspin and punch phrasing. He definitely changed the way music was being created and continues to influence it today.

He's also an absolute legend of the music industry, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007 as the first-ever hip hop act (Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five) to make it in. The clues were so heavy-handed on this one, really narrowing things down, it's hard to think of anyone else who fits. And what a huge get for the show!

Twitter wasn't at all confident in their guesses as to who this was, but they were confident that this was probably the only time they were going to get -- is that the right word? Get? -- to see him.

CALIFORNIA ROLL

("Paparazzi," Lady Gaga) California Roll is five singers in one act, which created for an adorable sushi costume and a very rich vocal sound. Honestly, we immediately thought of a five-part act that broke big on another singing reality show, especially as this one seemed to have a taller lead male vocalist, at least on this song, who has a very cool sound of his own.

Guesses: Their clue package included soy sauce a rack of "cool shades," and revealed that they'd been on Broadway. We also saw a "group project" and "spicy may cones," while at least one of them shared that they moonlighted as a DJ and another got married.

All of the clues were in the first person, so it was a confusing hybrid of wondering if the clues were specific to the member saying them. They did reveal they'd had the chance to work with the likes of Dolly Parton and Snoop Dogg, which our guess has also done.

After watching them take home the win on Season 3 of "The Sing Off," we were definitely feeling pretty confident that this is a cappella breakout group Pentatonix.

Their clue, brought out by the infamous New York pizza rate, was 5 billion. "Five billion and growing," said one of the rolls. "But who's counting." Tying it to our favorite guess, PTX has 5.9 billion views on their YouTube channel.

Jenny really stretched to try and tie the tiger clue to "The Lion King" Broadway cast, but then she landed on who we think it is, Pentatonix. The audience was digging that guess, too. Nicole, though, took the baseball pitch and "perfect dish" to "Pitch Perfect," wondering if maybe it's that cast, while Ken was really hoping it was "High School Musical."

But it's totally Pentatonix.

UNMASKING 5

We love a legend as much as the next person, and it's clear that Polar Bear is a legend. But there's no way he could compete on a singing competition against with what Medusa dropped this week and all the harmonies and vocal arrangements brought by California Roll.

He wasn't even as fun and silly up there as some of the other terrible singers (we're looking at you White Tiger) who've gone too far in this competition. He legit had us cringing with his attempts to sing Blondie. Luckily, the audience and panel agreed, sending Polar Bear to the great unmasking.

  • Robin Thicke: LL Cool J
  • Jenny McCarthy: Flava Flav
  • Ken Jeong: Diddy
  • Nicole Scherzinger: Grandmaster Flash

Nicole presented her case well and we were right there with her every step of the way. We're surprised the rest of the panel wasn't dipping into the 70s with their guesses as all those clues made it clear this was one of the pioneers of hip hop. What a treat for fans of all ages to have Grandmaster Flash among them, because of course that's who this was.

Then, for every person in that room to get to see him do what he does live and in person, it doesn't get much better than that. "We are in the presence of greatness," Nick likes to say and in this case he definitely wouldn't be underselling it.

BATTLE ROYALE

("Uptown Girl," Billy Joel) Medusa built to that signature scratch and sounded more Fergie than ever. She's got that full-throated sound that no one else can quite mimic. It did take her a moment find her way on this song, but she stuck the landing. California Roll took the track to church with a stripped down arrangement that made us even more confident it was Pentatonix. They sounded even better here than in their original song.

UNMASKING 6

Honestly, this is the toughest round of the whole season so far, even as it's also a bit anticlimactic. We already know the panel is going to use the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell because this is their last chance in this Group. But it does still matter who wins here.

The winner advances automatically past that Wild Card round, while the loser has to compete in it. If it were up to us, based on the creativity and artistry on display in attacking these covers, as well as the consistency we've seen tonight, we'd give it to California Roll.

The panel has been in love with Medusa since Day 1, so would that sentimental attachment over three shows give her an edge with them or would they crown a newcomer as the Group 1 winner! We had a feeling they'd jump ship, and they did just that, handing California Roll the crown and sending Medusa to the unmasking (that wasn't going to happen).

  • Robin Thicke: Kesha
  • Jenny McCarthy: Halsey
  • Ken Jeong: Susan Boyle
  • Nicole Scherzinger: Lorde

Only Jenny went in a new direction, and it wasn't the right one. The panel has been on the Fergie path before, but somehow pulled themselves off of it. Of course, no one was going to find out tonight that they were all wrong because Medusa was spared unmasking by the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell.

While we'd have loved to see it run last week for Debbie Gibson, we can't fault the result this week. The panel gambled that better was coming along and California Roll delivered. Medusa might not have thought she'd advance this way, but at least she carries on in the competition and still has a path to victory.

"After I heard the California Roll, I knew they won and I felt so embarrassed," Medusa told the panel, thanking them for this second chance. Twitter, though, was a little more mixed on the panel using the bell for her.

"The Masked Singer" moves on to Round 2 and DC Superheroes Night night next Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

Raquel Leviss Tries Making Out with Tom Schwartz After Katie Maloney Divorce on Vanderpump Rules

{content:

"Are we filming still?" exclaimed Tom after Raquel propositioned him ... here's how Katie reacted when she found out!

A tipsy Raquel Leviss broke girl code on Wednesday's episode of "Vanderpump Rules," as she took her flirtatious relationship with Tom Schwartz to the next level.

The new hour began with some of the cast attending a gig for Tom Sandoval's band, after Katie Maloney left following a dispute with Scheana Shay.

Inside the bar, Raquel was seen throwing back drink after drink and exclaiming, "I'm just trying to like make out with somebody." Scheana, of course, egged her on, telling Raquel to go for it after Leviss asked, "Should I ask Schwartz if he wants to make out?" This after Katie already blew up at Scheana for previously pushing a Tom-Raquel hookup, following Tom and Katie's divorce.

With Scheana's approval, Raquel went right up to Schwartz and asked, "Do you wanna make out?"

"I would love to. I can't. It's a trap. You're too good for me anyways," he responded, before looking around for cameras and asking, "Are we filming still?" After realizing production was, in fact, still recording, he then told her, "You're f---ing gorgeous, but Katie, she feels a real connection with you and she just ... yeah, anyways."

"I really like Katie as a person, but are we that close of friends? Like, no really," Raquel replied, as Tom again let her down, saying Katie would be "really upset" and he couldn't "do that to her." In a confessional, he added that he was "flattered" and finds Raquel "hot" -- before admitting, "There's part of me that wants to have this fun, light-hearted tongue locked embrace. Why not? I'm single."

In the end, however, he didn't give in.

Later in the hour, Raquel came clean about propositioning Schwartz while grabbing food with both Katie and Ariana Madix.

"But why would you do that?" asked Katie, as Leviss let her know that he turned her down. "He is respecting your boundaries," said Raquel -- prompting Katie to respond, "But you're not."

Raquel then apologized and blamed Scheana for putting the "initial idea" of a hookup with Tom into her head. That was all Katie needed to hear, as, in her mind, her suspicions about Shay were confirmed.

"I f---ing knew it. This is why she's dead to me," she exclaimed, before explaining why she wasn't as angry with Raquel in a confessional. "Raquel is not smart enough to come up with something this diabolical on her own," said Katie, "She's literally the human equivalent of cotton candy."

Maloney went on to thank Leviss for admitting her hookup attempt, before the trio planned a trip to Las Vegas to have a little fun. While Raquel and Tom will kiss at some point, a preview for next week showed her moving on from her Schwartz "crush" by making out with someone else -- Garcelle Beauvais' son Oliver, who works at Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas.

New episodes of "Vanderpump Rules" air Wednesdays on Bravo.

Jena Malone Says She Was Sexually Assaulted During Hunger Games Production

{content:

The actress shared on Instagram that she was sexually assaulted by a person she "had worked with" on the fourth and final "Hunger Games" installment: "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2."

Jena Malone is opening up about a dark time in her life.

On Tuesday, the actress revealed in an Instagram post that she was sexually assaulted by a person she "had worked with" while shooting the fourth and final "Hunger Games" installment: "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 2."

In her post, Malone shared a photo of herself in the French countryside that was taken after she finished filming the dystopian action movie, which was released in 2015.

The 38-year-old began her lengthy caption with a "trigger warning," before explaining the image. "This photo was taken right after I wrapped mocking Jay part two and I had to say goodbye to everyone on set," she wrote. "We were shooting in a beautiful estate in the countryside of France and I asked the driver to let me out in this field so I could cry and capture this moment."

Malone continued, "Even tho this time in Paris was extremely hard for me , was going thru a bad break up and also was sexually assaulted by someone I had worked with , I was so full of gratitude for this project, the people I became close with and this amazing part I got to play."

"A swirling mix of emotions im only now just learning to sort thru. I wish it wasn't tied to such a traumatic event for me but that is the real wildness of life I I guess," she added. "How to hold the chaos with the beauty."

The "Sucker Punch" actress said she's "worked very hard to heal and learn thru restorative justice , how to make peace with the person who violated me and make peace with myself."

Malone -- who starred as Johanna Mason in "Catching Fire" (2013), "Mockingjay -- Part 1" (2014) and "Mockingjay -- Part 2" (2015) -- said that it's "been hard to talk" about her experience appearing in the film franchise, but she's "ready to move thru it and reclaim the joy and accomplishment I felt."

She concluded her post by sharing "lots of love to you survivors out there," noting that "the process is so slow and non linear."

"I want to say im here for anyone who needs to talk or vent or open uncommunicated spaces within themselves," she wrote. "Please dm me if you need a safe space to be heard."

Many fans and followers took to the comments section of Malone's post to share their support. Among those who commented was Malone's "Hunger Games" co-star, Willow Shields, who starred as Primrose Everdeen, the younger sister of Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss, in the films.

"This post has me at a loss of words," wrote Shields, 22. "I understand and I hope that though the process is so slow you are okay Jena ❤️."

Malone also responded to a couple of followers in the comments section of her post.

After one fan said, "unfortunately whoever violated you got to walk away with no [repercussions]," Malone replied, clarifying, "no that's not true. I used restorative justice to allow healing and accountability and growth with the other person. It was a hard process but one I believe truly helped me move thru some of the hardest parts of the grief."

When another user asked the "Stepmom" star if there were "books or resources" she found to be "useful" during her healing process, Malone said, she did find resources, noting that "one day I will try and write out the process I used but I'm not quite ready yet."

"Just so you know, I didn't read any books but know there are so many online," she continued. "I did do a lot of online research. What [led] me there was feeling not held by 'outing' someone using the traditional cancel like culture that has been created."

"The Neon Demon" star added that she doesn't "fully see how the criminal justice system could fully repair my healing, though I do believe it can help in many ways."

"It all [led] me to using restorative justice, basically a system of repairing harm, to speak to the other party involved and make requests of my healing journey and really just be heard," Malone said. "It wasn't perfect and I'm sure I could have used the help of the many teachers out there who practice restorative justice in mediation settings. I felt I needed to do it alone I guess. I hope that answers your question. Feel free to dm for more clarity."

These Star Wars superfans had hard hitting but adorable questions for the 47-year-old Mandalorian actor

Pedro Pascal is answering big questions from some of his smallest fans!

In a segment for BBC Newsround, The 47-year-old actor took the time to take questions from children about his role on "The Mandalorian" ahead of the hit Disney+ series' third season.

Though his inquisitors were children, the Star Wars superfans had some hard hitting questions.

For example, 10-year-old Benjamin asked, "How often are you in this suit or do you have a stunt double?"

Pascal smiled and answered, "Hi Benjamin, I have a stunt double. I have multiple stunt doubles that do most of the heavy lifting at this point and when you see someone flying and doing spin kicks and landing perfectly on the ground it is a team effort."

When the "Last of Us" star was asked how long he intends to portray the titular protagonist, Pascal revealed to Nathaniel, 10, that he considered it a lifetime role.

"I think I will be playing the Mandalorian for the rest of my life," he replied.

Appearing with her class dog, Buddy, nine-year-old Eloghosa asked where the actor would take Grogu -- or more affectionately known as Baby Yoda -- on a walk if he could and why.

Pedro replied after greeting them both, "Oh Gosh… I would take him to the heath on a beautiful fall day or spring or maybe in the snow --- any time of year just not rain."

Luke Combs - Love You Anyway Lyrics

Verse 1
If your kiss turned me to stone
I'd be a statue standing tall in ancient Rome
And if your touch shattered me like glass
I'd be in pieces trying to make the breaking last

Pre-Chorus
If it took one look to turn my days to night
At least I'd have the stars that sparkle in your eyes

Chorus
There's just some things that leave a man no choice
Like a compass needle needing its true North
Even if I knew the day we met you'd be the reason this heart breaks
Oh, I'd love you anyway

Verse 2
I know just trying to write a song
I run the risk that I could get your perfect wrong
And well, I guess what I'm trying to say
Is there ain't words been made could shoulder so much weight

Pre-Chorus
And if you turned your back on me and walked away
Not a thing about the way I feel would change

Chorus
There's just some things that leave a man no choice
Like a compass needle needing its true North
Even if I knew the day we met you'd be the reason this heart breaks
Oh, I'd love you anyway

[Instrumental Break]

Chorus
There's just some things that leave a man no choice
Like a compass needle needing its true North
Even if I knew the day we met you'd be the reason this heart breaks
Oh, I'd love you anyway

Outro
Even if I knew the day we met you'd be the reason this heart breaks
Oh, I'd love you anyway

Jay Leno Reveals 'Brand New Face' After Third Degree Burns from Garage Fire

{content:

"Only for the second time in my career am I the new face of comedy!" The Tonight Show legend joked.

Jay Leno is taking his "brand-new face" for a ride.

During an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," the 72-year-old talk show host veteran opened up about having his face reconstructed after suffering from third degree burns during an accidental fire in his garage.

Back in November 2022, Leno had been working in his Burbank garage when his face was suddenly doused in gasoline while working on the fuel line of one of his cars and caught on fire.

Leno -- who suffered burns on his face, chest and hands -- went on to spend nine days at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles, where doctors had to debride his wounds.

Joking that he is once again the "new face in comedy" for the second time in his career, the comedian showed off his amazing recovery.

"This is a brand new face, it's unbelievable. What happened was I was working on a car and I got a face full of gasoline and it caught fire," he explained, joking. "I'd been eating a Flamin' Hot Dorito and when I bit into it, it set my face on fire!"

"No no, but, it was interesting," Leno continued. "It was all third-degrees so it was pretty bad. It was pretty bad."

When host Kelly Clarkson remarked on how doctors were able to revive his skin, he replied,  "You'd think I would have a zipper [on my face] now, but no!"

"Only for the second time in my career am I the new face of comedy! I got it once in the 1980s, and now I get it again! That's a brand new ear, too!" Leno said.

Back in December, Leno and his friend Dave Killackey -- who was with the TV personality at the time of his accident -- recalled the harrowing moment during an appearance on they "Today" show.

Killackey told host Hoda Kotb that he "couldn't even see [Leno's] face," during the accident and added, "He downplays it all, but I'm telling you, he was really engulfed. It was a wall of fire."

"I just grabbed him," he recalled jumping into action. "He was just under the car. I grabbed him by the head, and I pulled his head into my chest."

"I thought it was a bad Tinder date," Leno joked, chiming in. "I thought, 'What's going on here?'"
