Anne Heche's Ex Sends Message to Late Star In Birthday Tribute to Son Homer

"Thank you for trusting him to me," wrote Homer's father and Heche's ex-husband, Coley Laffoon.

Anne Heche's ex-husband, Coleman "Coley" Laffoon, is paying tribute to the late actress and their son, Homer, nearly seven months following her death.

On Thursday, Laffoon took to Instagram to honor Homer on his 21st birthday, while also sharing a heartfelt message to Heche, who passed away in August.

Laffoon's post featured a series of photos of Homer over the years, including several shots from their father-son trip to San Francisco.

In his lengthy caption, Laffon -- who was married to Heche from 2001 to 2009 -- gave an emotional shoutout to Heche, sharing that the late star is in thoughts on their son's special day.

"Impossible not to close my eyes and think of @anneheche zooming around the cosmos, swinging by Northern California, smiling her knowing and still vulnerable smile as she races past," the 49-year-old said, adding, "He's good Anne. Thank you for trusting him to me. It's going to keep being great. I promise."

Earlier in his post, Laffoon praised his son on his birthday, and opened up about their relationship.

"21 years.goes fast. Before you know it the journey of a lifetime has become two lives. Intertwined, inseparable in the sense that what is in one is in the other," he wrote. "Homer is in me as much as I'm in him. It's baked in."

"We're spending two nights in San Fran, a father-son trip celebrating this symbolic passage into adulthood. He's come through his challenges on his terms," he added. "Can't ask for much more. Has a promising new job, great friends, is a loving son and brother. Hopefully that is conveyed in thr faces in the pictures here. He's doing great and it feels so good."

The real estate broker went on to thank his wife, Alexi, for "holding down the fort" at home as she takes care of their three kids while pregnant with their fourth child.

"She believes in this father son time and supports us with every fiber of her heart and body," he wrote. "As my my mom says, 'we are LUCKY to have Alexi in our lives.'"

Back in January, Homer took over his late mother's Instagram in anticipation of the posthumous release of her memoir, "Call Me Anne," which dropped on January 24.

"First things first, from August to now, the amount of love, care and support shown by those on social media and IRL has been overwhelming and blessedly received - thank you," he wrote in part.

"One day at a time is working for me as I'm sure the healing journey will be a long one," he added. Your good thoughts and well wishes will continue to comfort me on my path."

Heche died at the age of 53 following a car crash on August 5, 2022, an accident that left her in a coma. She was declared brain dead on August 12, before she was taken off life support two days later.

In addition to Homer, Heche is also survived by her 13-year-old son, Atlas.

Child's Video Call Leads Cops to 'Horrific' Murder Scene; Four Dead Including Suspect's Teen Daughter

Domenico Gigante is accused of murdering his own 15-year-old daughter and three others, after allegedly telling his roommate, "I guess I am going to go over there and kill them all."

Cops responded to a quadruple murder in Florida this week, after a child in the same residence called a relative over FaceTime from what cops are now calling an "extremely horrific" crime scene.

Around 1:55am on Wednesday morning, police received a 9-1-1 call from someone who had been contacted by one of two young brothers inside the home of a homicide. According to Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey, the child contacted this person -- who was reportedly a relative -- via a video call, like FaceTime, and "told the reportee what had taken place, what they had seen at the house." According to court records, he said both his parents were dead.

Concerned for the child's safety, the reportee "raced to the scene" and kept the child on video the entire time, before then calling 9-1-1 themself after making sure the kids were okay. Per cops, the two children are ages 6 and 9.

When police arrived they found four victims, all deceased.

They were later identified as 15-year-old Kiara Terwilliger, her mother Constance Terwilliger, 35, Glenda Terwilliger, 63, and Michael Watson, 36. The teenager was the biological daughter of suspect, Domenico Gigante, who also previously had a relationship with Constance.

Ivey called Gigante "an extremely violent individual with an extremely violent past dating back as far as 2005," adding that he "should have never been on our streets where he could take the lives of this entire family." Per Ivey, Gigante had previous arrests for battery and cruelty to animals. He was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with four counts first-degree premeditated murder; he's being held without bond.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Gigante was arrested after police notified him of his daughter's death.

The man's roommate reportedly told police Gigante exclaimed, "I guess I am going to go over there and kill them all" while voicing his frustrations with his daughter and her family ... and later admitted to the roommate he shot his daughter three times after the police notification. He was also allegedly seen on surveillance video arriving to the home, before gunfire and screams were heard. He is said to have then left the residence and returned home.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with this family as they face this most difficult time," Ivey said in a press conference. "I can't even imagine what they're going through, having lost their entire family in this capacity."

Walt Disney Studios is bringing the "Haunted Mansion" back to the big screen.

Boyfriend of TikTok Star Charged with Domestic Violence, Child Abuse Blasts Critics

Dakota Mortensen hits back at speculation he was paid to speak with reporters about Taylor Frankie Paul's arrest and slams those "twisting the stories and making up assumptions."

Dakota Mortensen, the boyfriend of TikTok star Taylor Frankie Paul, is speaking out and addressing criticism thrown his way after she was arrested and charged with domestic violence and child abuse.

Paul, a Mormon social media influencer and part of the #MomTok community with more than 4 million followers, was charged Tuesday with two felony counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, one felony count of aggravated assault and one misdemeanor count of child abuse and criminal mischief, after she was arrested mid-February in Utah.

She stands accused of hitting Mortensen, as well as throwing barstools at him -- one of which allegedly hit her daughter.

On Tuesday, the same day she was officially charged by police, Mortensen took to his TikTok page -- which boasts around 330K followers himself -- to clear up some apparent backlash and/or speculation that came his way in the wake of Paul's arrest.

"Just a few things I wanted to talk about because I can't take anymore, it's pissing me off so bad," he began, before saying he's "never made a dollar" for his videos on the social media platform. "

"I don't do any of this s--- and expect to make money. If I could, great. Obviously, that's the end game goal, that would be amazing, who wouldn't want that? But I've never made a dollar from doing any of this," he said. "I just enjoy doing it and I've done it forever. I've done this for a long time and I'll continue to do it."

Saying that he's "never been in this position" before, Mortensen went on to deny any speculation he was paid to speak with reporters about the arrest, after he spoke with the Daily Mail last week. He said the reporter "randomly called" him and, at the time, was just "trying to be respectful" and "just be nice."

"But I wasn't doing anything wrong. I would never in a million years do anything for money, especially when it deals with Taylor and her family and kids," he continued. "I just wouldn't. I know my character and it sucks I even have to say this, but I never would do that."

Mortensen said the whole situation "just sucks," before going on to offer up some praise to Paul as a mother. Taylor is mom to daughter Indy, 5, and son Ocean, 2, who she shares with her ex husband Tate Paul and who were both reportedly home at the time of the altercation.

"If there's one thing I know and I will proudly say that, she's an incredible mom and she loves her kids so much," he said. "Obviously, you guys all can assume the worst of everything, because that's all you guys do. But I've seen it and I just know."

"I will be there for her. But I'm a recovering addict, rock bottom is where I've been many times in my life and I wish that I had people that I loved at those times that left and walked away from me," he continued. "I'm not going to do that to her. I will be there for her and help her any way I can."

Mortensen reiterated that "this whole thing sucks," before referring to "everybody just twisting the stories and making up assumptions." After thanking his supporters, he then concluded, "For everybody that sucks ass, I don't really care, you guys will just continue to fill my feed and comments full of stupid s---."

Per the probable cause statement, Paul began hitting Mortensen when he tried to leave during an argument. Video from the incident allegedly shows the influencer throwing barstools at Mortensen, hitting him with one which also hit her daughter. According to Page Six, the police report said the girl sustained a bump on her head -- with authorities calling it a "goose egg" -- while the chairs reportedly left holes in the walls.

Taylor was allegedly seen putting Mortensen in a chokehold and kicking him in the footage, while he claimed she also threw her phone and a wooden playset at him, which also damaged his car.

Paul's next court date is set for March 21.

Taylor first made headlines back in May 2022, when she claimed on TikTok that she and her ex-husband were part of a "soft swinging" community -- meaning they had an open marriage but would stop short of having penetrative sex with other people. The arrangement went sour, however, after she claimed to have gone too far with someone else in their community ... and some parties involved "developed feelings."

"We had an agreement and I did step out of that agreement and that's where I messed up," she shared on an Instagram Live last year. "No one was innocent, everyone has hooked up with everyone in this situation. It wasn't like I was going around hooking up with my friend's husband."

"We were at a party, I got belligerent and we went and messed up with ourselves, rather with the whole group," she added. "One time. It was a one time thing."

She said the incident led to two divorces in their friend group, including her own.

Paul and Mortensen -- who are both active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints -- went public with their relationship in July, before they revealed in November that she suffered an ectopic pregnancy. The pair split in December, but were spotted back together in January.

Their last post together was on February 12, just days before the arrest.

Jay Leno Surprises Burn Center Nurses With Bahamas Vacation

It was also revealed how President Biden played a role in The Tonight Show legend's recovery at the hospital

Jay Leno is giving back to the nurses who were in charge of his miraculous recovery.

During an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," the 72-year-old "Tonight Show" legend invited his team at the Grossman Burn Center -- consisting of Dr. Peter Grossman and three nurses Karen, Alyssa and Amy -- onstage to surprise them with a four-night trip to the Bahamas.

Back in November 2022, Leno had been working in his Burbank garage when his face was suddenly doused in gasoline while working on the fuel line of one of his cars and caught on fire.

Leno -- who suffered burns on his face, chest and hands -- went on to spend nine days at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles, in order to treat his wounds.

Noting how doctors make "pretty good money" for the hard work they do, but nurses are compensated less for their services, the comedian explained he wanted to do something special for the people he and host Kelly Clarkson described as "angels…they're just like the best humans ever."

"They're very nice," Leno said. "I really enjoyed their company, especially when you're dealing with burn victims … because that's really a tough one and I saw how they interacted with other patients and little kids."

"It really is an amazing place," he said of the Grossman Burn Center after they were able to completely heal his burns.

Though he described Leno as a great patient, during his appearance Dr. Grossman recalled a moment when the former talk show host tried to intimidate him with the assistance of the President of the United States.

"When I first saw Jay, I was a little uneasy because when I saw him he was a little bit more significantly burned than I had hoped," the doctor recalled. "You know, knowingly that it's Jay Leno and a face that everybody recognizes."

Grossman said that Leno pulled up a voicemail he received from President Biden in which the commander-in-chief sent his thoughts and prayers following his accident and admission into the burn center.

"As I'm leaving his room for the first time he goes, 'Hey, Doc, listen to this' and so he turns on his cell phone and he goes 'Hey Jay, it's Joe. I just want to let you know that I'm in Indonesia right now but I'm thinking about you. I heard about your accident and I'm praying for you' and Jay goes, 'Isn't that nice?'"

"I walk away and I go, 'That's the President of the United States!'" he laughed, before admitting. "No pressure now, I think he did that on purpose just so I made sure I stayed in line."

According to Grossman, the center was founded in 1958 by his father after a school called Our Lady of the Angels burned down and a group of children and nuns -- most of whom were already deceased-- entered a Chicago hospital where his father was a resident.

Grossman described that moment as his father's "impetus to go into burn care" and he later opened a center in Los Angeles.

Riley Keough Had a 'Premonition' She'd Marry Her Husband on Their Second Date

"We didn't even say 'I love you' yet," recalled the "Daisy Jones & the Six" star, who married her husband Ben Smith-Petersen in 2015.

Riley Keough didn't need a crystal ball to know her husband was the one.

During an appearance on Wednesday's episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," the actress -- who was promoting her upcoming series "Daisy Jones & the Six" -- spoke about her ability to have what she described as "premonitions" about her life and career, revealing that she "knew" she'd marry her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, while on their second date.

"I don't see the future, but I know certain things are going to happen," Keough, 33, explained to Colbert. "Like when I met my husband, he came out of the gas station on, like, our second date, and I thought, 'I'm going to marry him and have kids with him.'"

"I just knew. We didn't even say 'I love you' yet," added Keough, who is the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and granddaughter of Elvis Presley.

As for when the "Zola" star told her now-husband her "premonition," she joked, "It certainly wasn't at that point. I thought, 'If I tell him now, he will leave me here in Australia at the gas station.'"

Keough and Smith-Petersen began dating in 2013 after the two met on the set of the 2015 film, "Mad Max: Fury Road" a year prior. The "American Honey" actress and Australian stuntman revealed their engagement in 2014, before saying "I Do" in February 2015.

In January, Smith-Petersen revealed he and Keough had welcomed a daughter sometime in 2022 while reading a tribute to Lisa Marie Presley on behalf of Keough during a memorial service at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.

In her open letter to her late mother, Keough wrote that she hoped to "love my daughter the way you loved me."

"I remember how safe it felt to be in your arms. I remember that feeling as a child and I remember it two weeks ago on your couch," Smith-Petersen said as he read the words of his wife who was seated in the first row. "Thank you for showing me that love is the only thing that matters in this life. I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters."

Lisa Marie, the only child of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, died on January 12 at the age of 54, after being rushed to the hospital following a cardiac episode.

Presley is survived by both Priscilla and Riley, as well as her twin daughters Harper and Finley, 14; she had a son Benjamin, who died in 2020.

Survivor Player Removed After Gnarly Head Injury, Before Two More Medical Incidents

Bruce Perreault split open his forehead mere seconds into the first challenge ... before one contestant went flying off a rock formation and another nearly collapsed from dehydration.

The castaways on Season 44 of "Survivor" got off to a rocky start during last night's big premiere -- during which one contestant was pulled from the game and two others required medical attention.

Just seconds into the first challenge, Bruce Perreault banged his forehead on a wooden beam he was supposed to wriggle underneath. The crash split open his skin and blood was seen pouring out of the wound, as he momentarily appeared dazed by what happened. He initially kept soldiering on, however, and completed his task -- despite more and more blood coming out of the cut.

Host Jeff Probst kept checking in on Bruce, who said he was doing fine ... until he wasn't. As he collapsed to the ground, Probst called for medical assistance. After getting him some oxygen, he seemed okay and even went back to his tribe's camp. But later that evening, he said his head was "killing" him and he appeared a bit out of it, before calling for the medical team again. At that point, the decision was made to remove him from the game, so he could go to the hospital for further testing and treatment.

On the new "Survivor" after show podcast, Probst confirmed Perreault will be invited to compete on the show again in a future season.

Bruce was only the first injury of the evening, however, as Matthew Grinstead-Mayle suffered a pretty scary fall while he, for some reason, decided to climb a tall rock formation in the water. As he went up the rocks, they started to give out below his feet and he went flying to the rough ground below. "I need a medic!" he exclaimed, before popping his dislocated shoulder back in and showing off his sliced up hands and feet.

He was later given a sling by medics and sat out the immunity challenge.

During the immunity challenge, Matthew's fellow tribe member Brandon Cottom also sought medical attention.

Both Matthew and Brandon exhausted themselves on Day 1 during a challenge in which they had to haul coconuts back and forth on the beach for four hours. The next day, during the immunity challenge, Brandon also had to do a lot of the heavy lifting for his tribe as they were tasked with pulling a heavy box from the water and through a series of obstacles as part of the competition.

As Probst exclaimed, "Brandon's on fumes ... it is a very hot day in Fiji," Cottom fell victim to that heat and overexertion. He collapsed to his feet, before telling Jeff, "I don't know if I can get up."

With that, the challenge was halted and medical came out to give him assistance as well. They believed he was "just very dehydrated," which was treated with some fluids and time in the shade. He sat out the rest of the challenge ... which his tribe ended up losing.

While both Matthew and Brandon wound up on the injured list, neither of them were sent packing by their tribe during tribal council, however. Brandon was able to save himself with an immunity idol he found earlier in the day, canceling out the votes against him would have sent him home. His tribe-mate Maddy was eliminated instead.

Teen Mom's Ryan Edwards Arrested For Stalking Days After Ex Mackenzie's Divorce Filing

Ryan was previously arrested last month after allegedly breaking an order of protection granted to Mackenzie, who reportedly filed for divorce from the reality star on Monday.

"Teen Mom" alum Ryan Edwards has been arrested for the second time in two months.

According to a press release shared by Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the reality star was arrested on Wednesday for stalking and violating an order of protection.

The news comes in the wake of Mackenzie's divorce filing. Per Us Weekly, the 26-year-old filed for divorce on Monday after six years of marriage. She was also granted a restraining order in addition to temporary custody of their two kids: Jagger, 5, and Stella, 2.

Last month, Ryan was arrested in Hamilton County, Tennessee after allegedly breaking an order of protection granted to Mackenzie. He is said to have shared revealing pictures of her online and accused her of infidelity.

According to a press release via the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, the 35-year-old violated the order by speaking with her father after it was issued. The Sheriff's Office also found he had an active warrant for harassment -- with Mackenzie listed as the victim -- before they arrested him at his place of employment.

Ryan was found "to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and two bags of suspected narcotics" when he was arrested.

In total, he was booked on harassment, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and the order of protection violation.

The MTV star has faced a series of legal troubles over the years, including arrests for theft of services, heroin possession and violating terms of his probation. He's also struggled with substance abuse.

Ryan and his now-estranged wife Mackenzie memorialized their relationship on the "Teen Mom" series from 2009 to 2021. In 2016, the couple got engaged and tied the knot five months later in 2017. The former couple welcomed their son Jagger in 2018 and their daughter Stella in 2020.

Ryan also shares a son, Bentley, 14, with ex Maci Bookout. The co-parenting relationship between Maci and Ryan has always been a tense one, amid Ryan's past battles with substance abuse and his arrests.

Kristin Cavallari Knows It's 'Horrible' to Dump Via Text, But Still Does It: 'I'm F------ Heartless'

"Hills" alum Kristin Cavallari admits she is actively trying to text-dump her latest guy -- but he's not getting the hint.

To anyone who might suddenly find themselves dating Kristin Cavallari, be prepared as the reality star admits she's "f------ heartless" and will dump via text.

The reality star broke down when she chooses to go this "f----- up" route, as well as her absolute commitment to it, despite knowing that "it's horrible."

The way she broke it down on the latest "Back to the Beach" podcast with co-host (and ex) Stephen Colletti, it's not always her go-to approach. But, she's not shy about doing it early in a relationship. "If I've only hung out with you a couple times and I'm like, 'This is going nowhere,'" she said.

That must be what just happened, because Cavallari went on to admit she was in the middle of a text breakup situation right now, though it wasn't going particularly great. Apparently, he didn't take her dismissal well.

"I got multiple voice notes back," Cavallari said of this latest unnamed suitor. "I was like, 'S–t. I should probably send you a voice note, but I don't even want to.'" Instead, she admitted to the "cop-out" move of texting back.

"I'm still f----- heartless, I guess," she said. "But no, it was nothing serious so I was just like... it is what it is."

According to "The Hills" alum, she tried to dump him the night before recording this podcast, but he just wouldn't let go. He "kept fighting it, kept going and kept going," she said.

The morning of the podcast, she said she sent him a text telling him, "Just let me know when things settle down for you. We can pick this back up later," but he didn't respond.

"So that's not a good sign," she laughed. "He might not be too happy with me, but here we are."

If he thought the relationship worth fighting for before she recorded the podcast, he should be pretty clear how committed she is to being done with it now that the podcast is out -- and maybe happy she didn't drop his name.

This isn't the first time the 36 year old has talked about her struggles out in the dating world since her 2020 divorce from Jay Cutler. In a recent chat with Rachel Bilson on her "Broad Ideas" podcast, Cavallari said she's been attracting married men and "a lot of kids in their 20s."

She was also pretty clear that due to her busy schedule, she's not looking for anything serious right now. "I want to just be mom and then work-wise my schedule is pretty busy until May, and then I'll have a bit more free time, but I just need to hunker down right now and focus on me."

Cavallari has three children she shares with Cutler: Camden, 10, Jaxon, 8, and Saylor, 7.

She hasn't given up on dating casually, she noted, just that she doesn't have the capacity for "anything serious" quite yet. "I'm just not in a place for it right now," she said. "Which is fine."

Back in August, Cavallari opened up about the qualities she was looking for in a man: "Someone who is sooo comfortable in their own skin, looking to continuously grow, someone who isn't afraid to build me up and let me be me, emotionally mature who isn't afraid to express their feelings and needs (which goes with being comfortable in their skin), someone who can make me laugh, laid-back, healthy lifestyle."

She also pointed out she's looking for "someone really confident (NOT COCKY) who isn't threatened by everything else in my life. That's been a struggle for me."

On top of all that, "Hot doesn't hurt either."
