Yellowjackets Season 2 Trailer Introduces Adult Van, Lottie and Elijah Wood

{content:

The trailer also includes a cover of No Doubt's Just a Girl from Florence + The Machine.

"I feel like s--t's gonna get a lot worse out here."

That's what Sophie Thatcher's Natalie says in the new trailer for "Yellowjackets" Season 2, as the show's teen survivors continue to face some serious hardships following a plane crash that left them stranded in the wilderness.

In addition to the returns of stars Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Tawny Cypress and Christine Ricci, the new footage also touts the debuts of Lauren Ambrose as adult Van and Simone Kessell as adult Lottie. In the footage, we learn that after being rescued, Lottie was "committed to a mental institution in Switzerland" ... and appears to have her own cult.

The trailer also gives viewers a look at Elijah Wood's new character -- who exclaims, "Everyone's hiding something!" -- and includes a new Florence + The Machine cover of No Doubt's "Just a Girl."

According to Showtime, Season 2 picks up two months "Shauna gave Jackie the cold shoulder— to disastrous results."

"In the face of their deepening hunger and fear, the tension among our Yellowjackets has only grown worse. The harsh conditions of winter are intensifying by the day, and the psyches of our survivors are deteriorating just as fast," reads the synopsis. "Threatened by the darkness of the wilderness— and the haunting memories of it in the present— our former state champs will be forced to make impossible decisions. As they confront the horrible truth of what survival entails, the real nightmare for each of them will be to figure out who they are— and what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive."

"Yellowjackets" Season 2 debuts March 26 on Showtime.

Raquel Leviss Says She's Working On 'Being Alone' Amid Tom Sandoval Scandal

{content:

"I don't want to label anything or predict what lies ahead," the Vanderpump Rules star said following intense backlash to her relationship with the Tom Tom owner

Raquel Leviss is opening up about the status of her relationship with Tom Sandoval following the shocking news of their affair.

On Wednesday night, "Vanderpump Rules" star released a statement on Instagram in which she shared where she stands with her co-star days after it was reported that Sandoval had cheated on his now-ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix with Raquel.

Lisa Vanderpump on Tom Sandoval, Raquel Leviss Scandal, Apologies and What Schwartz Knew

"Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born out of a loving friendship," Leviss, 28, explained. "Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones."

She went on to talk about her personal journey moving toward.

"I need to take care of my health, work on self growth and take time to be ok with being alone," Raquel said. "I care for Tom and I don't want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now I need to heal."

Her comments come just a few hours after she broke her silence on the affair. In a statement, Raquel addressed the situation, and apologized to Ariana.

"I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships," she began. "There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana."

"In the time since this came to light, I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved," she continued. "I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships. I am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices."

Leviss went on to add that she's started "counseling to end my unhealthy behavioral cycle, learn to set stronger emotional boundaries and learn to protect my mental health."

She concluded, "I don't expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness. Right now I must focus on my own health and well-being and as I strive to be a better person moving forward, I will prioritize my mental health and learn from my mistakes."

On Friday, TMZ broke the news that Sandoval and Madix had split after nine years together amid the latter's discovery that the former had been cheating on her with Leviss.

Sources also told TMZ that Ariana called things off with Tom after she found text messages -- and a video -- on his phone that were said to be "sexual in nature." The insiders added that Madix told friends she discovered Leviss and Sandoval's alleged affair had been going on for months.

Regarding the video Ariana discovered, TMZ reported that it was a recording of a FaceTime call between Raquel and Tom.

On Monday, Leviss' lawyers sent a legal letter to "Vanderpump Rules" cast members, including Sandoval, Madix and Lala Kent, telling them not to distribute and share the video. Raquel's attorneys claimed the recording "was done illegally without Raquel's knowledge or consent," and argued that it's considered "nonconsensual pornography," citing a revenge porn law in California. Therefore, anyone who shares or sends the video to someone else would be breaking that law.

The following day, Leviss filed a restraining order against her co-star Scheana Shay, according to TMZ. The outlet reported that Raquel alleges that Scheana attacked her, claiming she shoved her against a brick wall and punched her in the face last Thursday. According to Leviss, the alleged attack left her with a black eye and cuts on her face. Raquel included photos of her apparent injuries.

James Gunn Slams Racist Troll Calling Him 'Woke' for Casting Chukwudi Iwuji in GOTGv3

{content:

After James Gunn shared a picture of Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," a troll whined, "Damnit... another white guy they made into a black guy."

Usually fans are excited at any glimpse of their favorite comic book characters coming to life on the screen. That wasn't the case for one racist fan when James Gunn revealed his High Evolutionary.

The director shared an image of Chukwudi Iwuji in character for his upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" to his Instagram page from the set of the film. "Can't wait for you all to meet this guy," he wrote.

But he wasn't done there, as one follower immediately went on a racist rant about the casting choice. "Damnit... another white guy they made into a black guy," the user wrote. "Why couldn't they leave him white or i don't know...pick a different minority?"

Making his argument a little more muddy, the user continued, "How about Asian or gasp! A Latino? (how many Latinos and Asians in MCU? Like total of 5??) Or make him an Indian or something… because they don't and won't, that makes them 'woke.'"

While this user was getting all worked up over Iwuji's race, most fans were talking more about how much this image reminded them of "Robocop." It's the skin of the face being pulled over the machinery that evokes the 1987 film starring Peter Weller.

It's a little odd to argue that Gunn and Marvel are "woke" if they change a white character into a Black character, but not if they change a white character into any other minority. It's also still racist.

Like many of Marvel's classic characters, the High Evolutionary was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in 1966. At that time, due to societal norms, a disproportionately large percentage of new comic book characters were white. The expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe has been tweaking that formula.

Most of the primary characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain America have remained white, but there have been changes to other characters to more reflect real world diversity. Most notably, Nick Fury is portrayed in the movies by Samuel L. Jackson. He proved so popular on the big screen, the comic book version is now also Black (and the son of the original white Fury).

The user wasn't done espousing bigotry. They continued, "Next time, a major character (hero/villain)will be a trans or homosexual or non-binary (when in comics they are not). Sad and pathetic. They're picking based on race and whats PC and not on acting and what's established."

In other words, superhero movies need to be almost exclusively white to reflect the more racist times in which most of those characters were created. The only characters of color this user will allow are those created in more recent years, and those few rare old-school minority characters like Luke Cage, Black Panther, and Shang-Chi.

Gunn quickly shut the fan down, replying, "I chose the best actor, period, and the best person for the role. I don't give a shit what ethnicity @chukwudi_iwuji is, so stop with your racist presumptions on WHY he was chosen. (And, by the way, he's playing a guy who's almost always purple in the color.)"

There was similar pushback when Zoe Saldana was cast as Gamora in the first "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie -- you know, a character who is both an alien and green.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" marks Gunn's final shot with the franchise, and with the larger MCU. He has now signed up as the co-head of the rebooting DC Universe, alongside Peter Safran.

Unfortunately, racism and sexism appears to exist in both fandoms, as evidenced by review bombing that's happened for "Captain Marvel," "Batwoman," "Ms. Marvel," "Black Adam," and "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law," among too many others. If it's not white or male or straight (and preferably all three), it's going to infuriate a certain segment of fandom.

It's clear, though, that Gunn isn't going to put up with it, and will stand and defend his choices and his actors. That bodes well for strong leadership and diversity as the DCU rebrands and rebuilds.

Christina Ricci Wishes She Was Less of a 'D---head' to Press as a Teen, Can Still 'Go Too Far'

{content:

"Yellowjackets" star Christina Ricci said she got wrapped up in being labeled the "Anti-It Girl" at a time when young actresses were way more sexualized than they are today.

Christina Ricci practically grew up in the spotlight, first breaking big as a young girl when she portrayed Wednesday in two "Addams Family" films. By the time her teen years hit, she admits she could be "a bit of a d---head."

The "Yellowjackets" star was well known for giving great interviews to the press, often unfiltered and fearless in what she would say. She spoke candidly about serious issues like body image and mental health, which put her a bit ahead of her time.

But she could also be aggressive and combative. "I was a bit of a d---head," she told Rolling Stone in a new interview. "I could have handled it in a way that was less teenage."

She is, however, still proudly contrarian and "sullen," as RS repeatedly described her during the '90s and '00s. They also said that she described herself using words like "unfriendly," "unpleasant," "prickly," "party pooper" and "killjoy." It seems a bit of Wednesday Addams was truth seeping into character.

She also says some of her behavior then was a result of the cultural zeitgeist. In this early era of the internet, young women in entertainment were far more sexualized than they are today. As for Ricci, her sardonic wit and sullen demeanor saw her dubbed the "Anti-It Girl."

She was described on the cover of Rolling Stone itself back in 1999 (when she was 19 years old) as a "hazardly sexy teen who will say anything." To accompany this Ricci was adorned in pink lingerie. "It's not how I would have chosen to be dressed, but it's very much of it's time," she told RS today. "Not great."

A lot of that comes from those fearless, almost reckless interviews she would give at the time. The outlet detailed examples like Ricci saying anorexia made her look like E.T. Ricci said she struggled with anorexia for a year as a teen. Now, she tries to be far more careful and sensitive about what she says.

However, for Ricci, it's far easier to be careful promoting a movie than a television show. "In movies, there's a buildup, and the movie comes out, and then it's done," she said.

It's the longer press cycle for TV that can get her into trouble. "I find myself starting to feel a little bit more devil-may-care about the things I say. And that's not good for me," she said. "I always go too far. I never realize how awful a thing I'm saying is until someone else is like, 'What the f---?'"

She also opened up about her mental health struggles during those times, and how much more freeing it is to just be these days. Ricci said that she struggled with the adjustment into adulthood. "I was never clinically depressed," she said. "I would just joke that I wished it was worse so that I could go to a hospital, have a f---ing break, and I didn't have to make choices. 'Please, take all my choices away from me.'

Now, she feels much more relaxed, in part because of how things have begun to improve for women in Hollywood. "The amount of years spent obsessed with trying to make sure nobody could criticize you for your appearance," she mused. "I really have embraced this body-positivity thing."

"It's such a f----ing relief to know that nobody's allowed to call you fat," she continued. "[When] people complain about things like that, I'm always like, 'Haven't you heard? We don't have to worry about that anymore!'"

#2023Elections: 23 Songs To Listen To In This Election Frenzy

The Nigerian society is currently breathing through its mouth due to the national election frenzy, giving time to reflect on vital Nigerian songs to help during this time.

The ongoing Nigerian national election, which has had the citizens at the edge of their chairs, has put so much tension in the air. In light of this, here are 23 songs to listen to during the election season.

On Saturday, February 25, 2022, Nigerians trooped out in large numbers to actively participate in the 2023 presidential, senate, and house of representatives elections. The exercise, which is still ongoing in the case of the result announcement as of Monday, February 27th, 2022, has attracted so much attention from different societal and age classes of the nation.

With the governing elections on March 11th, here are some songs to keep the momentum going in reclaiming our country!

  1. Sound Sultan ft M.I Abaga - 2010\

Sound Sultan, the late singer, rapper, and fashion enthusiast, featured the buzzing M.I. Abaga on the song "2010," which was released in 2011. The groovy hip-hop song that emphasizes the then-Nigerian government's promises of remarkable development throughout the country by 2010 turned out to be a fallacy filled with hardship, stagnancy, and lies. The song urges the citizens to "wake up," exercise their power as people, and demand better governance.

2. This is Nigeria - Falz

Another masterpiece by Rapper, singer, songwriter and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz released 'This is Nigeria" in 2018. Inspired by American singer Childish Gambino's "This is America," the hip-hop song highlights the nation's socio-political ills, such as government decay, fraud, police brutality, and religious fanaticism, among other societal ills.

3. Burna Boy - Collateral Damage

Known for consistently using his music as a tool to speak about societal issues, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, released "Collateral Damage" in 2018 off his Grammy-nominated "African Giant" album.

The groovy afro-fusion tune produced by Kel P highlights the in-depth corrupt operations orchestrated by government officials across all parastatals - an unending scene of intense looting that, of course, continues to drag the country backward. Burna Boy speaks equally highly of the cowardice displayed by the people in this song, citizens who are supposed to take on the leaders they elect with their votes, but who cowardly do not speak up in the face of oppression.

4. Burna Boy - 20-10-20

Released nine days after the Nigerian Armed Forces shot at peaceful protesters in Lekki, Lagos State on 20th of October 2022. The Grammy-winning singer painted a vivid picture of the massacre that went down that day. The bloody event that put a deadly halt to the peaceful protest of the Nigerian youths against police brutality and bad government was put into perspective by the singer, emphasizing the fact that the Nigerian heroes that were gruesomely killed by the government while exercising their rights will never be forgotten.

5. Falz ft Sir Dauda - How Far

Again, Falz makes the point with his ever-conscious personality as an artiste. The song, which was released in 2014 as part of his "Wazup Guy" album, features familiar face Sir Dauda and is an introspective song that takes a toll on the country's statganant activities since its independence in 1960. Falz and Sir Dauda are asking "how far?" which directly translates to "what's happening?" due to the backwardness of the nation since its independence. Interestingly, the song emphasizes how the people continue to suffer while the country's leaders and elite continue to advance through looting, corruption, and other heartbreaking means. part of its lyrics read:

Someone told me long ago say life go better.
Still we dey under the weather
So someone tell me how far
This is 1960 we Don dey wake even now self we still dey the matter.
How far.
I beg tell me how far.

6. M.I Abaga - Wild Wild West

Nigerian ace rapper Jude Abaga, popularly known as M.I. Abaga, comes into the conversation with the song "Wild Wild West." Released in 2010 off his "MI2 The Movie" album, the song, although directly speaking about the horrific situation of "Jos," at the time highlighted the incompetence of the Nigerian government in ensuring the protection of lives and property, which indeed is the reality of most Nigerian society. M.I. emphasizes how bad the situation is and how people have no choice but to defend themselves against external threats in this song. Lyrics read:

Better get your gun
Better get your vest
'Cause in J town is the wild wild west
Down here everyone curse, no one bless
Nobody care, nobody notice
So know this, until you feel the gun blast
Nobody gon' sleep and nobody gon' rest
Down here everyone curse, no one bless
'Cause in J town is the wild wild west

7. M.I Abaga - Craze

Released off his "MI2 The Movie" album as well, "Craze," as "unserious" as the title, delivery, and beat tempo of the song are, speaks a lot about what the Nigerian society has turned into. Vote rigging, vote buying, heirachy intimidation, low living standards, stagnant educational standards, kidnapping, and other issues that plague the country are highlighted. Lyrics read:

Lets face the fact
That the people are slim and the
Governors fat
And the people laboring, only
The oga relax
It's just a matter of time, the
People gonna react
People wanna eat but there's
No money at all
So they gotta be sharp coz the
Governors dull
People struggle and toil, others
Chopping them all
Some people koko with oil, others
Are chopping the oil

8. African China - Mr. President

A classic from the Reggae-Dancehall singer African China, even though it was released as far back as 2006, continues to be very relevant in today's Nigerian society. Speaking on bad leadership, poor infrastructure, and a poor standard of living amidst other difficulties that continue to plague the society. Lyrics reads:

Food e no dey
Brother eh water no dey
And our country no good o
Everyday for thief
One day for owner e
Poor man wey thief maggi
Omo, dem go show im face
for crime fighter Rich man wey thief money
Omo, we no dey see their face
for crime fighter
Tell me something now rudeboy
Rich man go dey halla prayer Poor man go dey shout Rich man go dey halla prayer Poor man go dey shout Make una lead us well
No let this nation to fall inside well

9. Brymo - Down

The sonic artiste who loves to speak in parables paints the picture of a crumbling society, which evidently equates to the Nigerian society where "everything goes." Irregularities, confusion, chaos, etc. are the order of the day, and people continue to live in this society. As expected, this aforementioned society continues to sink into wretchedness and underdevelopment as the "anyhowness" persists. Lyrics goes:

Something dey go round town
People dey go downtown
The world is spinning round round
The world is going downtown

People dey go uptown
Anyway anyhow now now
Chop your own and clean mouth now
We print and loot and sharе around

Them say the priest
E dеy pray for the thief
Shadaka for Allah
Blood for the spirit

People no bother
Dem they wait on the Lord fa
Rere run
O run

10. 8tch - 9-5 in Lagos

A storytelling rap song that paints the struggle of surviving in the work space of the city of Lagos. "Lagos" in this sense paints how hard it is for even the educated middle class in a society like Nigeria.

11. Asa - Fire on The Mountain

The Nigerian-French singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist contributes her quota to this list with the evergreen "Fire on the Mountain." The soothing tune, released in 2007, highlights the hostile environment that Nigerian (African) society has become. Plagued with violence, corruption, ethnic war, bigotry, and other things, Asa foresees that these dominant societal ills will eventually lead to the doom of this society. Lyrics reads:

There is fire on the mountain
And nobody seems to be on the run
Oh, there is fire on the mountaintop
And no one is a-runnin'

I wake up in the mornin'
Tell you what I see on my TV screen
I see the blood of an innocent child
And everybody's watchin'

Now I'm looking out my window
And what do I see?
I see an army of a soldier man
Marching across the street, yeah

Hey, Mr. Soldier man
Tomorrow is the day you go to war
But you are fighting for another man's cause
And you don't even know him

12. Dremo - Thieves in Uniform

Released on October 4th, 2022, which was sixteen days before the Nigerian Armed Forces shot at peaceful protesters in Lekki, Lagos State, on October 20th, 2022, the hip-hop song was the perfect song during the #ENDSARS protest. The title "Thieves in Unfetter" refers to the intense police brutality Nigerians have experienced, but it also refers to the intense government brutality they have experienced.  Lyrics read:

You can never trust Sars with a gun
A de le trust ole pelu ibon
So the difference is not really much
Dem just be armed robbers in uniform
Dem no dey try protect us (protect us)
They only tryna extort us (extort us)
The government won't even say a word (FEM)
Not until their family dey involved

Its so sad mehn its so sad
So many dreams cut short cos of one gunshot
Mane we end Sars sharp all this shi*t gaz stop
How can your first check point be your last busstop (Damn!)

13. Fela - Coffin for Head of State

14. Fela - Authority Stealing

15. The Cavemen - Brother's Keeper

16. Tekno - Freetown

The song, Produced by Xtofa is a socially conscious single released on 24th of February 2023, a day before the general election in Nigeria. On 'Freetown', Tekno highlights some of the harsh conditions the Nigerian people are forced to live with. He also lends his voice against the promulgators of these harsh conditions. Lyrics read:

What goes up must come down
When I dey vex dey calm down
Sierra Leone is freetown
But the people no dey see chaao

So me go down to Lagos city
Giant of Africa wey no get constant electricity
Say me go to the street too many people i dey pity
3 years old for road dey beg money,
highway no be for small pikin

For long we go pray make e better
How many times we fo pray make e better
Since mama born me my people dey pray make e better
Offer and tithe, everyday them dey pay, say make e better

Danny McCray's Wife Wouldn't Let Him Compete on Any Show Other Than 'The Challenge' (Exclusive)

{content:

The Survivor alum is back for The Challenge: World Championship, opening up about the competition, his wife Kiki's advice and which missions he hates most.

While Danny McCray is the one competing on "Survivor," "The Challenge: USA" and now "The Challenge: World Championship," his wife Kiki is just as big a star for viewers -- and, according to the football player, she laid down the law when it comes to his reality TV career.

The former Dallas Cowboy first appeared on the Survivor 41 in 2021, before he was recruited to play on CBS' "The Challenge: USA" last year. After winning that show, he was fast-tracked to "World Championship," which finds him facing off against some truly legendary competition -- including Challenge legends like Johnny Bananas, Darrell Taylor, Jonna Stephens and Wes Bergmann.

His back-to-back appearances across the franchise have clearly delighted his wife, Kiki, who McCray talks about at length throughout his many confessionals and who is a massive fan of the MTV series. So big a fan, in fact, she only urged him to do "Survivor" so he could possibly follow in the footsteps of alums like Tyson Apostol who also made the jump over to "The Challenge."

TooFab caught up with Danny ahead of Wednesday's season premiere of "World Championship," where he opened up about the words of encouragement he got from his wife, what his possible "Challenge" future looks like, how the show compares to "Survivor" and which challenges he really hates.

After you were one of the winners of The Challenge USA, going into this one what were you really hoping to prove for World Championship?

Not necessarily prove anything, but it doesn't hurt to go back to back and try and win that grand prize money again. Like I said, it's the only reason I'm on there. Nothing to really prove as far as how good I am at the challenge, I've done that in my professional career as a former NFL player. It's really all about the money when I go on The Challenge.

You've said that you don't think you would return to Survivor, but The Challenge now it's two times in a row. What is it about doing this show that appeals to you more?

You know what, if I'm being honest, it's my wife. My wife is like: 'Hey listen, when you go on Survivor, we don't get a chance to see you, there are no phone calls, no FaceTime, any of that. So you can't go back. I need to be able to get in contact with you. So The Challenge is the only place you can go.' And plus, she's an ultimate fan of The Challenge, so it is actually her dream. So she loves it.

Wasn't part of the reason you did Survivor in the first place because she kind of thought it would lead you down this Challenge road?

Yeah, that's the reason that she gave me the okay to do it. So I originally wanted to go on Survivor, but she would only say yes if I agreed to go on The Challenge if they called. So it was a little give and take there.

How many more of these do you think you have in you? Because obviously some people like Johnny Bananas has done twenty years worth of this show at this point. Do you see yourself being a professional Challenge player? What does your future, do you think, look like?

My future is running youth football camps for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm not sure how many more times I'll be doing The Challenge. I really can't express this enough, I do not like swimming. I don't like long swim, I don't like heights. It gives me serious anxiety. Had I not won The Challenge USA, I may have not gone back on The Challenge again.

Even in the premiere, those eating challenges also seem just ... ugh, I couldn't do it.

Man, the eating challenges. You don't know how bad it is until you get there. We lucked out in the USA with the onions and garlic, I'll say that.

Compared to other contestants that are on this season, you are relatively new to The Challenge world. As you said, you did these two back to back. How was it being thrown in with some of these icons, these legendary people, like Johnny Bananas, like Wes? What was it like interacting with them and how did you prepare for that?

It was cool to a certain extent to get on there. I've been watching The Challenge with my wife for a while, so I've been watching Johnny, I've been watching Darrell, I've been watching all these legends for a while. So to get to meet them in person and see what they're really like, versus kind of the perception that you draw on your own when you see them on TV. That was interesting. Some of them live up to the love or hate that you would give for them when you watched them on the screen, and some of them you didn't feel it was warranted once you finally met them and get to know who they were. So that was actually one of the most fun parts of being on the World Championship.

Who did surprise you the most? For better or worse.

Probably [Jordan Wiseley]. Jordan probably surprised me the most. The last real outburst that I had seen from Jordan was him and Turbo getting into it. And I saw him on All Stars and him and I were kind of on a redemption story, but I knew that Jordan had a little fiery temper and could get a little loud once the argument started rolling.

Who did Kiki want to know the most about? Who is she really dying to know about?

You know what, it's funny because we actually met [Tori Deal] back in 2018 before I even thought about going on Survivor or The Challenge. We met her out in New York, my wife was a fan, she asked for a hug, Tori gave her a hug, so she had been loving Tori ever since then. So of course that was one person where she was like, 'So how is she actually? I know when we met she was a good person but I've seen her on TV, some stuff changed with her and Jordan's relationship, tell me how she really is.'

Coming off of The Challenge USA, there was obviously some controversy about the finale for that one when it came to the rules possibly not being entirely clear to either those watching at home or some of the contestants. How do you think the world championship compared in that aspect?

I'm going to continue to stand on the fact that I felt the rules were pretty clear in The Challenge USA final. Sudoku is sudoku. People who kind of paused the clips and went back, they explained it enough ... the Angela thing and some of the other time out stuff, I thought that was pretty clear just based on how the final was going. So I would say it was about the same. It was about the same.

When you are going into this show, where some people have done this show together multiple times in the past, do you see those bonds and is it hard to break into these groups that have known each other longer?

Yeah, I think it's almost impossible. That's why you have to figure out, in my mind, my strategy, would always be if I was going on the MTV version, I would try to rally as many people as I could, to make sure that we got those people out. If you are connected to somebody based off of you playing six or seven seasons on the MTV version, then we need to get that whole entire group out. Because you're not breaking in. They will cut your throat as soon as they get the chance.

How do you think the challenges this time compared to the ones last season? Is there something that you can tease that you were really just shocked that you were thrown into it?

Man, I'll tell you what. My tastebuds, you spoke to that, the eating challenge is a lot different than The Challenge USA. Like I said, we got off a little easy, I thought it would be a little easier on this one but they cranked it up 1000%. It was a lot. It was a lot.

You brought up your wife Kiki, she's all over your confessionals again. What were her words of encouragement going into this one?

Not necessarily encouragement., it's like, 'If you're going to leave me here for six weeks and leave me here with the two-year-old, you better make it worth it. You better come back with some money, alright? So go out there, win the game, there are no friends. Make sure that you are willing to throw whoever you have to under the bus to make this money because that's the only way you can go.'

How do we get Kiki on one of these shows with you? Would you ever do something like The Amazing Race where you could do it together?

I don't believe Kiki is cut out for The Challenge, but maybe there is a TV show out there that she would join. I think right now we have a two-year-old, so it would be hard for her to be away from little Zoe for that long. But you know, as she gets older, we'll see.

What do you think Zoe is going to think of your reality show career in the future when she is finally old enough to understand?

You know what, the good thing about it is, I think that I stayed true to myself on these shows. so she'll be proud of what her dad did on there. She'll be proud of it and maybe it'll be an example for her when she goes into possibly reality TV or whatever she wants to do.

"The Challenge: World Championship" premieres Wednesday, March 8 on Paramount+.

Garcelle Beauvais Reacts to Son Oliver Kissing Raquel Leviss, Scandoval Situation

{content:

"I'm not always okay with all the decisions that he makes," says the RHOBH star, ahead of a Vanderpump Rules episode in which Oliver makes out with Leviss.

Garcelle Beauvais is chiming in on the "Vanderpump Rules" drama.

In an interview with E! News at the EMILY's List Pre-Oscars How Women Change The World Event on Tuesday, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shared her thoughts on the now-infamous "Scandoval" situation, involving "Pump Rules" stars Tom Sandoval, Raquel Leviss and Ariana Madix, who reportedly broke up with Sandoval after she learned he allegedly cheated on her with Raquel.

"All sounds like a mess to me!" Garcelle said. "It's a mess and I was no part of it!"

Lala Kent Calls Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss 'Disgusting,' as Tom Apologizes to Ariana Madix

Although the reality star isn't directly involved with "Pump Rules," her son Oliver Saunders is. The 32-year-old -- works at another of Lisa Vanderpump's establishments, Vanderpump à Paris at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino -- will make an appearance on the current season of the Bravo series.

As shown in a preview for Wednesday's episode, Oliver is seen making out with Raquel during a girls trip to Vegas with Lala Kent, Katie Maloney and Kristina Kelly.

However, the makeout made headlines during filming as Oliver was apparently still married to his estranged wife Samantha Saunders at the time. And during her new interview with E!, Garcelle reacted to the news of Oliver smooching Raquel in the episode, noting that her son is responsible for his own actions.

"Listen, my son's a grown man and he makes decisions," she told E! "And I'm not always okay with all the decisions that he makes. I need to see the episode that he's in before I can speak on it and I haven't seen it yet."

Although Garcelle hasn't watched it all go down yet, she wrote that she doesn't want to be associated with the drama.

After Oliver shared the "Vanderpump Rules" promo clip on his Instagram on Tuesday, Garcelle took to the comments section, writing, "Lol Keep me out of it."

Oliver's ex Samantha and Raquel previously spoke out about the latter's flirtation with Oliver back in September.

Samantha called out her husband publicly for cheating, but said Raquel wasn't to blame and did "nothing wrong" in the situation. Raquel also later told Page Six that Oliver "misled" her into thinking he was single and claimed they "didn't hook up." She added that she found out he was married while getting ready to meet him for a dinner date.

Raquel, 28, has been involved with a series of romantic entanglements -- which have been documented on "Vanderpump Rules"-- following her split from James Kennedy in 2021.

In addition to Oliver, Raquel has been linked to a few guys since the separation, with the most recent reported relationship shocking "Vanderpump Rules" everywhere.

On Friday, TMZ broke the news that Sandoval and Ariana Madix had split amid her discovery that he'd allegedly been cheating on her with Raquel. In the days since, many of the show's stars and other celebrities have chimed in on social media, sharing their two cents on the drama.

Amid the fallout, Sandoval and Raquel have both issued statements on social media, addressing the situation and apologizing for their actions.

Sandoval, 38, first apologized to his business partners and pleaded with people not to take out their anger and frustration on his restaurant. Three days later, he released an apology directed at Ariana, 37.

"I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love," he wrote in part. "No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."

"I dishonored Ariana," he continued, adding that he never meant to disappoint anyone, and concluded that he has work to do on himself.

"I wish things had happened in a different order and our relationship was not severely tarnished, and that it ended with the same respect with for her that it began with," Sandoval wrote. "I owed Ariana better."

See his full statement, below.

On Wednesday, Raquel broke her silence, issuing a statement on Instagram.

Raquel went on to add that she's started "counseling to end my unhealthy behavioral cycle, learn to set stronger emotional boundaries and learn to protect my mental health."

She concluded, "I don't expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness. Right now I must focus on my own health and well-being and as I strive to be a better person moving forward, I will prioritize my mental health and learn from my mistakes."

Jenna Ortega Edited Wednesday Scripts Without Telling Writers

{content:

The actress called herself "almost unprofessional" with her changes on the Netflix Addams Family spinoff series

Jenna Ortega wasn't afraid to make big changes when it came to her titular character in Netflix's "Wednesday."

During an appearance on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast, the 20-year-old actress shared how the original script and direction for the streamer's second biggest English-language series of all time required her to put her foot down after they made "no sense" in terms of character perspective.

"When I read the entire series, I realized, 'Oh, this is for younger audiences,'" Ortega admitted. "When I first signed onto the show, I didn't have all the scripts. I thought it was going to be a lot darker. It wasn't… I didn't know what the tone was, or what the score would sound like."

The "Scream VI" star called her behavior "almost unprofessional" as she would change lines without consulting the writers responsible for the script. Ortega claimed Wednesday's original dialogue was far from the original "Addams Family" character's trademark morbid and deadpan personality traits.

"I don't think I've ever had to put my foot down more on a set in a way that I had to on 'Wednesday,'" she continued. "Everything that Wednesday does, everything I had to play, did not make sense for her character at all."

Ortega gave examples of plot points and lines she didn't feel worked for the titular character.

"Her being in a love triangle? It made no sense," she explained. "There was a line about a dress she has to wear for a school dance and she says, 'Oh my god I love it. Ugh, I can't believe I said that. I literally hate myself.' I had to go, 'No.' There were times on that set where I even became almost unprofessional in a sense where I just started changing lines."

According to the "Scream VI" actress, there were times the script supervisor believed she was working with her given script until she sat down with writers and they questioned her edits.

"They'd be like, 'Wait, what happened to the scene?' And I'd have to go and explain why I couldn't go do certain things," Ortega continued.

"I grew very, very protective of her," she said, explaining she wanted to play a more three dimensional Wednesday. "You can't lead a story and have no emotional arc because then it's boring and nobody likes you. When you are little and say very morbid, offensive stuff, it's funny and endearing. But then you become a teenager and it's nasty and you know it. There's less of an excuse."

Keira Knightley Says Pirates Movie Made Her 'Object of Everybody's Lust'

{content:

At only 17 years old she already "felt very stuck" due to the image created by Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean

Keira Knightley is reflecting on the impact of her first blockbuster hit.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 37-year-old "Pride and Prejudice" actress opened up about becoming an "object of everybody's lust" after starring in 2003's "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" when she was 17 going on 18.

According to Knightley, taking on the role of desirable Elizabeth Swann in her teens left her feeling "stuck" and "constrained" when it came to looking for jobs in the industry.

"I had quite an entrance into adult life, an extreme landing because of the experience of fame at a very early age," she began. "There's a funny place where women are meant to sit, publicly, and I never felt comfortable with that. It was a big jolt."

"[Elizabeth Swann] was the object of everybody's lust," Knightley explained. "Not that she doesn't have a lot of fight in her. But it was interesting coming from being really tomboyish to getting projected as quite the opposite. I felt very constrained. I felt very stuck. So the roles afterwards were about trying to break out of that…I didn't have a sense of how to articulate it. It very much felt like I was caged in a thing I didn't understand."

The actress went on to do more "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, but actively sought out roles like "Pride and Prejudice" and "Atonement" she felt would counteract the image the seafaring movies gave her.

Eventually Knightley's hard work paid off when she earned a nomination for best actress for her performance in the Jane Austen movie adaptation.

"I was incredibly hard on myself," she said of her earlier career. "I was never good enough. I was utterly single-minded. I was so ambitious. I was so driven. I was always trying to get better and better and improve, which is an exhausting way to live your life. Exhausting."

"I am in awe of my 22-year-old self, because I'd like a bit more of her back. And it's only by not being like that any longer that I realize how extraordinary it was," Knightley admitted.

Woman Searching for X-Mas Decorations Finds Missing, Mummified Husband In Closet 8 Months Later

{content:

Police previously searched the "hoarder home" and detected a "sewer like" smell, but no body.

The death of a man who was found in a closet of his own home eight months after he was reported missing has been ruled a suicide.

Richard Maedge, 53, of Illinois disappeared back in April 2022 -- a day after telling his wife Jennifer he was heading home early from work. When she later got to the house, his car, wallet and keys were there, but he wasn't.

Per FOX59, police searched the residence -- with the coroner saying authorities described it as a "hoarder home" -- and noticed a "sewer-like" smell, but no body. According to the Bellevue News-Democrat, the smell was so bad, even neighbors and the mailman picked up on it.

Police returned to search the home again after Jennifer reported the odor, but a plumber reportedly said it was sewer gas, covered one of the sewer pipes in the basement and the smell dissipated.

There was no sign of Richard for nearly eight months, until Jennifer went looking for Christmas decorations and discovered his body in a hidden closet under a stairway. According to the coroner, his body was in a "mummified state," with no further injuries or foul play suspected.

Richard's family is now criticizing the local police department for not discovering him sooner.

"Mistakes were made, and I want answers. If it means filing a complaint and going all the way to the governor, I will," his sister told BND. "I'm not going away. I'm just now beginning to say stuff out loud. I should have been screaming from the beginning, but I was suckered in by the police department saying they were doing their job and looking for him."

Jennifer, however, said police wouldn't have even known the hidden closet was there when they searched the home.

Cara Delevingne Opens Up About Desire to Have Kids, Talks Girlfriend

{content:

"I've wanted a kid since I was 16," the 30-year-old model told Vogue for its latest cover story.

Cara Delevingne is opening up about her desire to have children.

In an interview with Vogue for its April 2023 cover story, the model revealed she's been thinking about motherhood since she was a teenager, and shared that she hopes to freeze her eggs in the near future.

Cara Delevingne Entered Rehab After 'Heartbreaking' Photos Gave Her Addiction 'Reality Check'

"I've wanted a kid since I was 16. I want babies so bad," said Delevingne, 30. "Back then I would not have been ready, of course -- I just wanted to replace the need to look after my mom with a kid of my own."

Delevingne's mother, Pandora, battled heroin addiction in the past, including while Delevingne was growing up.

Delevingne has previously spoken about wanting to have children, admitting last year that she buys clothes for her future kids.

"I want to have babies," she told Harper's Bazaar's UK in a January 2022 interview. "But not yet. I buy children's clothes for my future child who doesn't exist. Baby shoes really get me -- they break my heart. I went shopping the other day and I bought these tiny Air Jordans, which are purple and they have a lion on them. I'm manifesting..."

Meanwhile, elsewhere in her new interview with Vogue, the actress got candid about her love life, gushing over her relationship with her girlfriend, British singer Minke.

"She's the type of person who has boundaries, and there came a point with me when she wasn't going to have it much longer, and it was a blessing in disguise," she said of Minke, whose real name is Leah Mason. "It's the first time I feel like I'm in a relationship not trying to rescue someone."

The "Carnival Row" star added that she and Minke celebrated the holidays together in Utah, which marked the first time Delevingne was sober during Christmas and New Year's Eve.

"It was just the two of us," she told Vogue. "I was in bed by 12:15 a.m. on New Year's Eve having the nicest time."

Delevingne and Minke first sparked romance rumors last June after they were seen kissing while on vacation in Italy.

Also during her cover story, Delevingne opened up about her turbulent year and her ongoing battle with addiction after entering rehab in the fall.

See what she had to say, here, and click here to read Delevingne's full Vogue cover story.

Delevingne's issue of Vogue hits newsstands on March 21.

8tch - 9-5 In Lagos Lyrics

9 to 5 in Lagos, omo iyami no be child's play
Grinding on a steady, never settle even for one day
Fi were fa gburu ko fi port e, all to get paid
Eko lon pe bi, open eye koma lo gbe e gba one way
Slept well but weyrey loma jiri laro Monday
Driver slap passenger, odigobe lori highway
Wetin dey my head nah to japa, nah to find way
An hour late to work? my oga go comot 1K
Lori Salary tawon omo ope fin jeun in one day

Le tun ma yo ninu e, oloun e be like say you chop craze

E con dey be like say only struggle dey my gene (gin) like Bombay
Omo mehn e don tey, wey I buy Italo like Conte
Only bosses eat from the pot's mouth like pompey
Omose loma sare ku, iwo mbappe

Even if you're tryna keep it cool, you go still snap like a portrait
On a normal dubs Lagos is a stressful city
9-5 but the time frame is 5-9 really
On my way to work, everybody is just sleeping
How do you expect them to function at work? man you're tripping

You're tripping like Johnny bravo who embarks on a journey
To catch a damsel with his muscles, uhm, man it's funny
Do you get the trips? if you don't take a journey
It's a jungle, only the George (judge) survives, so pay an attorney

Typical Naija employer doesn't want you to grow
Its an issue for them if you act like you know
Overuse and underpay is their mantra hommie
'Cause I work for you, you think that you own me hommie?

If you like be genius, for this side dem no go rate you
Pay you shit and always find a way to manipulate you
So igbawo gan lomo'pe fe gara ninu penthouse?
Typical Naija employee is half sane, half mental (furreal)
