Freddie Prinze Jr. Almost Quit Acting After 'Miserable' Experience Filming IKWYDLS (Exclusive)

{content:

The actor believes the film's director didn't want him in the movie and it got to a point where he "wanted to fight that guy two or three different times" during production.

Freddie Prinze Jr. is the first to acknowledge "I Know What You Did Last Summer" is the film that really launched his career -- but he says he nearly walked off the project and left Hollywood altogether following issues on set.

The 1997 slasher was one of the actor's first films, in which he and costars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Jennifer Love Hewitt find themselves running in terror from a fisherman they accidentally ran over and left for dead "last summer." It turned Prinze Jr. into a teen idol and it's where he met his future wife and mother of his kids, Gellar.

While speaking with TooFab about his new horror movie podcast That Was Pretty Scary -- a show which launches with an in-depth episode devoted to IKWYDLS -- Prinze Jr. made it clear he was grateful for what he gained from doing the film, while also sharing why it was such a difficult experience for him.

For Freddie, now 47, watching the movie for his podcast was actually the first time he's ever seen it in full, sharing that he didn't even stay to see it at the premiere and took off to go bowling after walking the red carpet. "I don't want to see my face, I hate my face, I hate the way I look, I don't think I'm a good lookin' dude," he explained, adding that he also doesn't like the sound of his voice.

"It wasn't because it was a difficult job or because of the weird things that went on on that, the good things that went on on that, the bad things that went on on that. It's just one of those things," he clarified. As for some of those "weird" and "bad things" that allegedly went down on set, Prinze Jr. claimed a lot of it stemmed from one thing: he thought the director simply didn't want him in the movie.

"It's not that we weren't on the same page, I knew what the correct choices were for the Ray character. He wanted a different actor, a really good actor named Jeremy Sisto, who I know and I like and respect very very much," said Freddie, who said it was the studio and writer Kevin Williamson who pushed for Prinze Jr. instead. In the end, he said they won out over director Jim Gillespie.

"I'll give the man this, I think his name is Jim, he made no bones about it. There was no passive aggressiveness -- which I hate -- he was very direct in the fact that, 'I don't want you in this movie,'" said Freddie, laughing. "So when that's your first job and you hear those words, it just wrecks you, man. It just wrecks you."

While he and Gellar weren't dating yet and wouldn't start to for a few years, Prinze Jr. credited her and Phillippe with talking him off a ledge. Though he and Phillippe aren't close now, they built a bond pretty quickly while working out together to get in shape for the movie. That bond carried over once filming began, he says.

"So, when I did have those moments where the director was giving me psychotic notes, like 'Don't leave your mouth open. You look stupid when you do that' -- that was the exact note, word for word, I'll never forget it -- and I'm like, I'm either gonna break down or I have to beat this guy's ass. Like those were the only two options in my head," he continued. "I remember Ryan came up to me and was like, 'Screw that guy, man. How many times did you audition for this movie?' and I go, 'Five times,' he goes, 'Yeah, you earned it. You didn't get offered the role, you earned it. There were less people every single time time you went and then it was just you. Remember what booked you this role. Screw his notes. Any note he gives you just say, 'Okay, and do what you want to do.' He was the first person to say that to me."

He appreciated the guidance from both Phillippe and Gellar -- who had more experience under their belts thanks to years on soap operas before booking the horror movie -- but Prinze Jr. says his interactions with the director had a negative impact on him.

"It was very difficult waking up in the morning -- or in the afternoon, because we shot a lot of nights -- and go to work with the right attitude. Because I knew the moment we got on to set for rehearsal, I was either going to be Mr. Pay No Mind, which would be where he would give everyone notes before we shot anything or before we rehearsed, except me," said Freddie. "He made it a point to single me out every time, would bring the other actors together without me, and give them all notes. And I'm like, well was he just trying to do some method crap? I just don't understand."

The actor claimed the director even confirmed his suspicions and flat out told him, "I don't want me in the movie." On his podcast, Freddie also said he "almost quit the movie" following a mishap that allegedly happened while filming a scene on a motorboat for the film's finale. He refers to it as not only a "near death experience," but a breaking point. Listen to the podcast below for the full story.

"I almost caught a flight and went home. I was done. I had enough. They had broken a ton of union stuff that they shouldn't have, like union rules. All kinds of things. And I just felt like yo, if I'm not wanted here, screw it," he told TooFab. "There's other things I can do. I dropped out of Le Cordon Bleu to make this movie. I'll go be a chef, that's what my mom wanted me to be anyways. I packed my bags that night. I was just gonna quit the business."

This time a producer stepped in and calmed him down, as Freddie decided to stick it out so as not to leave his costars and some of the other members of the crew up a creek without a movie.

"I wanted to fight that guy two or three different times. Once I felt was a legitimate reason, and the other two I was just pissed off, which, that's not right. I'm glad everybody talked me down," Freddie says now, before acknowledging the positives that also came from the film. "In hindsight, I'm not upset, because that movie launched my whole career. I wouldn't have any of the things I have without that movie, I wouldn't have my wife, I wouldn't have all the other movies I've done, I wouldn't have this podcast. We wouldn't be doing this interview. I'm here because of that struggle and because of that pain and it was those things."

"It was a struggle to finish work every day, I was in pain every single day on that movie. However, it prepared me for this business in a way -- it sounds weird to say this -- I'm forever grateful for Jim for being such an asshole because I've never met one like that since," he added. "I've been prepared for every lesser A-hole in the business. And I'm sure he's a hero in someone else's story. I'm sure he helped someone else out and they loved him. But for me, he took a lot of frustration out on me. He was a first time director, he didn't have a lot of time, he didn't have the budget he wanted, he didn't have the actor he wanted, and he didn't know how to deal with that frustration."

TooFab has reached out to Gillespie for comment.

While Freddie says the experience "sucked" overall and he was "miserable" for most of it, he had the "exact opposite experience" working on the sequel, "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer." The 1998 sequel was directed by Danny Cannon, who Freddie said could be "tough to work for," but also "never demanded anything from anyone that he wouldn't demand for himself"

Watching the original 1997 movie back for the first time since making it, Freddie said he could still see how some of the "challenges" on set affected his performance. "It was the hardest job that I've ever done," he added, "and I'm just glad I got it out of the way that early."

His wife also joined him for the screening, alongside his podcast cohost Jon Lee Brody, and she too hadn't watched it since the premiere. Though it was a "crazy cool experience," they probably won't be having any screenings for the whole family -- including kids Charlotte, 14, and Rocky, 9 -- anytime soon. "I don't want her to see her mom die, and that's the only reason I haven't shown it to her yet. My son is only nine but he doesn't get scared of anything. He could watch it tomorrow and be like, 'Mom, that is so cool when he killed you,'" said Prinze Jr.

"I Know What You Did Last Summer" is just one of the many horror movies he and Brody will tackle on their That Was Pretty Scary podcast, which also has episodes lined up for films like "Scream," "Chopping Mall" and "M3GAN" -- the latter of which he did allow his daughter to watch. He says the show is a celebration of the films they're covering, with "no trashing or bashing" allowed. Like his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, this is just another outlet for him to explore an area he loves and share it with others. While the "Last Summer" movies might be his only real films in the horror genre, he wishes that wasn't the case -- saying, "nobody would let me do that because they wanted me to be the sweet boy who struggled to fall in love for 96 minutes every time."

Fingers crossed he gets to dive back into the world of evil fishermen with a planned legacy sequel sometime soon -- though it's not exactly a done deal.

New episodes of That Was Pretty Scary drop Wednesdays on Wondery+, before releasing to the general public the following week.

Tilda Swinton Frustrated with Ongoing Pandemic Film Set Rules

{content:

"I was told to wear a mask at all times, and I'm not," Swinton said of a new film project while speaking at SXSW

Tilda Swinton has grown frustrated with the never-ending pandemic.

The star shared her thoughts while at the South by Southwest film festival, where she asked the mask-less crowd in attendance, "I mean, in Texas did people wear masks? I have to ask."

Later in the conversation she said, per Variety, "I'm about to shoot a picture in Ireland, and I was told to wear a mask at all times, and I'm not."

"I'm sure this is being recorded," Swinton said before telling the audience she was "very healthy."

Over a year ago, Swinton spoke to W Magazine about the effects that Long Covid had on her health and her experience filming.

"I was coughing like an old gentleman who smoked a pipe for 70 years, and had nasty vertigo," Swinton told W. She further elaborated on how Long Covid is affecting her life as an actress on the set for Wes Anderson's latest film "Asteroid City".

"I'm normally quite quick at studying, and picking stuff up, but this was like chewing a really big piece of gum. I couldn't remember my lines," noted Swinton, who said that Anderson likes lines to be read quickly, as per his quirky directing style.

Swinton is not the only actor to come out against Covid protocols on set. Woody Harrelson recently spoke out against these protocols in an interview with the New York Times Magazine.

"I don't think that anybody should have the right to demand that you're forced to do the testing, forced to wear the mask, and forced to get vaccinated three years on," says Harrelson, "I'm just like, Let's be done with this nonsense."

Tim Robbins also went to Twitter to support Harrelson, commenting that "Woody is right. Time to end this charade." Robbins also tagged SAG-AFTRA, whose President, Fran Drescher, is also against the Covid protocols.

Swinton attended the festival to promote the new A24 film "Problemista", which stars her and director Julio Torres.

The film premiered at the film festival on March 13th, which according to Variety, follows  "Alejandro (Torres), an aspiring toy designer from El Salvador who struggles to bring his unusual ideas to life in New York City. As time on his work visa runs out, a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast (Swinton) becomes his only hope to stay in the country and realize his dream."

Nicola Peltz Addresses Victoria Beckham Feud Rumors, 'Throuple' with Selena Gomez

{content:

The actress and wife of Brooklyn Beckham opens up about online haters and her relationship with her mother-in-law for a new Cosmo cover story.

Nicola Peltz can't seem to shake the negative rumors about her relationship with her mother-in-law, Brooklyn Beckham's mother Victoria Beckham.

The subject comes up again in a new cover story for Cosmopolitan, as the "Bates Motel" star shuts down any talk of a rift between the pair -- which some speculated was sparked by Peltz's decision to wear a Valentino gown for her wedding, instead of one of Posh's designs.

"I've said this so many times: There's no feud," she told the publication. "No one ever wants to write the nice things. It's really weird, actually, whether it's my life or someone else's life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong."

Speaking more generally about internet haters and those who leave nasty comments on her Instagram page, Peltz said she wished some of her critics "knew me before they judged me."

"And it sucks, because I wish I could respond to every person, being like, 'That's not true. That's not true. That's not true,'" she continued. "But then obviously, you have to block it out. You can't let everything affect you. Otherwise, it would be a spiral ... I feel like all the mean words that people hear in high school, I read on my Instagram."

When the reporter interviewing her suggested she don't read the comments, Peltz added, "That's the thing. You can't help but sometimes be like, 'That sucks.'"

One recent Instagram posts that had everyone talking was one made by Selena Gomez back in January, as she kicked off the new year with a trip to Mexico with the newlyweds. "Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone," Gomez captioned a carousel of photos from the getaway.

"Oh my god. We're like, 'Yeah, we are a throuple.' We are all three best friends," Peltz said when asked about the pair's relationship with the singer.

"I had met her once in passing a few years ago, and then we all went to this event in September, the Academy Gala. We just clicked and had the best time. And then we became super, super close," Peltz continued. "I feel like she's my soul sister. I love her so much. She's truly one of the most amazing people I've ever met in my whole life. The kindest person ever. Truly, her heart is gold. I feel like I've known her forever."

Peltz also opened up a bit about her marriage to Beckham, revealing the only night they've spent apart was the night before their wedding. After that reveal, she was asked whether the two ever fought.

"Every relationship has its disagreements. No relationship is perfect. And when you're so close to someone and they know everything about you, it's inevitable to have disagreements. So yeah, definitely," she shared.

Bachelor Blowup: Heartbreak as Woman Says She's Falling in Love, Gets Booted After Hometowns

{content:

Bachelor Zach Shallcross traverses the country to declare he sees a future with Ariel Frenkel, Charity Lawson, Gabi Elnicki, and Kaity Biggar to all four of their families -- and then eliminates one of them.

It's always an emotional time when Hometowns come around on "The Bachelor." And we're always looking for that family member who seems to revel in being the hardass of the season. Don't worry, it happened this season, too!

Zach Shallcross traveled on four Hometown visits to meet the families of his four finalists and told all of those families that he sees a future with their daughter, sister, friend, etc. It's just that one of those futures was obviously much shorter than the other three.

Rachel Bilson Reveals First Orgasm From Sex Came at 38

There is no easy way to navigate this show at this stage of the game, and we know they have to play their hearts close to their vest, but it's especially difficult to watch when you're dealing with damaged people who are still trying to heal from relationship traumas.

Once again, though, we came out of these Hometowns with a clear sense of who the winner is. Not only have they been getting a winner's edit since the beginning of the season, theirs was the only Hometown visit that felt raw and emotional and real.

It even touched our grizzled, battered heart -- and we're pretty sure we've been dead inside longer than this franchise has been stomping hearts all around the world.

Nicky Hilton Taught Paris Hilton How to Change a Diaper After Welcoming Baby Phoenix

Syrup Fail 2: The ... Mustarding?

Honestly, at this point, we'd be on board with Gabi dumping Zach. After grimacing at homemade syrup from Vermont in the premiere, he was an absolute disaster when she introduced him to the staple of Vermont in Vermont.

Then, for those who stuck around for the closing credits, he doubled down on WTF, leaving us shooketh to the core (no offense to his grandmama who is probably a very sweet lady, even if deeply misguided when it comes to toppings).

Even Gabi was horrified when she set up a blind taste test for Zach of three different grades of fresh, authentic Vermont syrup and one store bought pancake syrup nonsense. Guess which one he thought was the best? We apologize to the entire state of Vermont for this grievous insult to their very cultural identity.

Things did go better for him when they shifted to actually meeting her family. Her dad, Kevin, is this season's Papa Softie, another Bachelor Nation tradition. He's the romantic at heart while his wife, Stephanie, and Gabi's sister, Chloe, are more practical.

Her older brother Evan auditioned for hardass of the season by asking Zach his intentions and trying to be that overprotective older brother, but we just weren't feeling it. It was cute, but sorry, Zach, you didn't get the position.

Ultimately, Gabi broke down at the end, getting insecure in her feelings knowing that Zach was about to embark on three more Hometown visits. A lot can change emotionally on these visits, so what feels great right now could become no rose by week's end. It's a fair concern.

Hardass or Cartoon Villain? You Decide!

Where Evan fell short, Bobby stepped up in all the right ways. Ariel's older brother had that deadpan glare down pat, and he even had ridiculous "gotcha" questions loaded up to catch Zach and prove that there's no way this show could even work.

You know producers love milking that reality romance skeptic to try and get some great content during the Hometowns, and then a few moments during the "After the Final Rose," too. Unfortunately, we're not sure we're buying the hardassery Bobby is selling.

His ploy to prove that Zach can't have real feelings for Ariel because he doesn't know her birthday after a month or so is just patently ridiculous. How many people open with their birthday? He was just looking for reasons that Zach was failing or lying about his feelings.

Then his grilling with Ariel, saying basically, "Do you know why I'm such a cool hardass on television?" To quote a classic New Yorker who's way more hard than Bobby, "Get outta here!"

He even had to poopoo the adorable nude couple that gave Zach and Ariel relationship advice at the spa in Estonia. Yes it's culturally different, perhaps, but to tell them not to take that advice was just callous and, again, pretty lame.

Thankfully, Zach wasn't judging Ariel on her cartoon villain brother -- we weren't scared of him, but we were highly entertained). Instead, the rest of the family was tough but fair inasmuch as this show and process is ridiculous and stupid and unlikely to work just on pure statistics.

Is Heartbreak Edit Charity for Viewers?

Poor Charity. If there is such a thing as a hero's edit, there's also apparently a heartbreak edit. Now, at this point, we had no idea who Zach was going to choose, but we started to get a sense of dread at just how much everyone was talking about whether or not Charity was prepared for heartbreak.

Look, we know these Hometown visits are hours and hours and there is plenty of conversations and content for editors to choose to air. There's a reason, we imagined at this point, that these were the snippets that kept coming up.

All of these women are risking heartbreaking at every stage of this process. Even at this point, the odds of being the one at the end is only one in four. Of course, each woman believes (or hopes) that they are the one -- but only one of them is right.

We did adore Charity's Southern welcome of Zach, inviting him to their cookout in the yard where he got to meet the family and her bevy of girlfriends, who really do seem to be looking out for her and caring about her happiness (and preparedness for heartbreak).

In fact, even most of the family chats seemed to be with Charity. We did see her brother, Nehemiah, grill Zach a bit about the other woman, but the only answer he got was an honest and fair statement from Zach that he's trying to compartmentalize his relationships the best he can.

We spent far longer with Nehemiah tearing up while talking to Charity about how hard it was for him to watch her and be there with her the last time her heart got broken. Seriously, if the girl didn't get cut at the end of the night, this was a pretty awful edit with so much focus on heartbreak.

The Voice 5th Judge: Deaf Singer with Perfect Pitch Stuns, 15 Year Old Steals Season So Far

Playing House in Austin -- This Is a Date?

The opposite of Charity's edit was yet another winner's edit for Kaity. even her date was like that of a winner. She was all like, hey, now that you're done with all that silly "Bachelor" nonsense, it's time to settle down and start putting this house together.

She literally had Zach help her assemble a bookcase and otherwise start putting her house in order. She'd just moved to his hometown of Austin, and when she brought this up, he did note that this was a pretty important detail. Important enough to choose the hometown girl?

It was cute seeing them be quite so domestic, and certainly gave Zach a sense of what life with her would be like. And, she had no goofy older brother mean mugging him through the family visit, either. Instead, her family was very sweet and supportive.

Right away, they could see the huge difference in Kaity just in how physical she was with Zach while they were sitting and sharing their adventures. Her walls were crumbling and her heart was out there. We did get some heartbreak talk, but much more about how great Zach is.

Instead, with Kaity, it quickly became about her own fears of really telling Zach she's falling in love with him and being that vulnerable because every man in her life has walked out on her (save her brother). So she's afraid of it happening again.

With that edit, eliminating Kaity after all of these family chats and confessionals would be extremely cruel as it would feel as if the show was exploiting her trauma before triggering it. We now reality TV revels in mess, but not cruelty, right? At least, not this show -- right?!

Silence Can't Heal a Broken Heart

In the end, the edit did betray the results of the Rose Ceremony, as Charity was left out in the cold, and then left in utter silence for an uncomfortable amount of time after Zach walked her out and had her sit on a bench.

If you've got no words of comfort, my man, put her in the limo and wave her off. This girl told you she's falling in love with you and you just slammed the door to her heart closed. The silence was deafening.

We know he's not great with his words and we were glad when he finally did speak, but Charity interrupting him with "I know" showed just how invested she was in what he had to say. She did hear him say she deserved a love he couldn't give her, but later said she doesn't even know what that means.

Through a lot of this episode, we started get a next-Bachelorette vibe from her edit, too, and that definitely carried through to her limo confessional, as she talked about being ready for love and what it is she's looking for. Even criticizing Zach's empty platitude was good fodder.

It's as if the producers were trying her out with viewers this week through that edit to try and get a sense of how they feel about her as a possible lead for the next season. We're a little on the fence, honestly. She's very sweet, but she's not nearly as interesting a personality, or entertaining to watch as a Gabi or a Kaity. And if they chose Ariel, her brother would get another shot to be the hardass!

Of course, if they choose to announce the next Bachelorette at Tuesday night's "Women Tell All" special, which has already been taped, then we're wrong about them testing her out with viewers. They could, though, be trying to prepare their fans with this edit.

Or it could be someone else entirely. While it's possible the next Bachelorette could be announced as soon as that special, which Charity will be at, more likely they'll wait until "After the Final Rose," as has become tradition in recent years.

No Sex ... Except for the Sex

It looks like Zach's brain writes a check his libido couldn't cash next week. All season long, we've seen him declaring that Fantasy Suites would be a sex-free zone, but then we see him admitting that he "did get intimate" with someone.

It's already a week fraught with tension because of the whole sex angle, so this could only make it monumentally worse. Imagine being a woman who abides by his edict, only to find out that one or two of the others did not.

How would that make you feel? Did he lie to you just because he didn't want to "get intimate" with you, specifically? Or did they not respect his wishes and aggressively seduce him and then his libido betrayed his senses? Could you consider it a betrayal of trust and expectations?

Plus, Jesse Palmer says that one woman gets some information that could change everything for her. Is it another Covid test sending someone home at this critical juncture? Or could it be regret offering an eliminated woman a second chance? Something else entirely?

The Voice 5th Judge: Deaf Singer with Perfect Pitch Stuns, 15 Year Old Steals Season So Far

{content:

A young teen from a non-musical family leaves all four Coaches with jaws hanging open as he slays with the strongest Blind Audition yet on "The Voice" -- where did this talent come from?!

From a deaf singer to a 15 year old with incredible artistry, night three of the Blind Auditions on "The Voice" offered plenty of chances to stand up and shout at the screen.

We also learned that Blake Shelton is still struggling to remember the names of his new co-Coaches, Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan. Kelly Clarkson's return reminded us how much we missed her last season as her rivalry and banter with Blake still makes this part of the competition.

The father-son thing between Blake and Niall has been cute, but we've yet to see if either he or Chance will be able to step up and spar with Kelly in as fun a way as Blake does. We can only assume she'll continue with the show, as she seems to really enjoy it, making her the anchor moving forward. But as we saw last season, it's not as much fun without a great foil.

Fair warning, since I'm safe at home, I'm probably going to be a little harsher than my colleagues Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, Niall Horan, and Blake Shelton. But I might be nicer, too. Maybe.

And just for fun, I'm going to rank the performances from worst to first to see who my favorites are, and then see how they do as the season progresses.

Jayda Klink

("No Air," Jordin Sparks - 23, Cincinnati, OH) Challenging syncopation on this one paired with nerves that left her voice a little warbly and Jayda did not come out with her best foot (or voice) forward. This was a tough one as she just never settled into her confidence. She has a pretty tone and with some more experience and growth and, most importantly, self-belief that this is what she's meant to be doing, she could change her trajectory. Here, she sounded both timid and overwhelmed.

Results: No Chairs Turn

Jamar Langley

("Try Me (I Need You)," James Brown and the Famous Flames - 36, Andrews, SC) We needed a little more authenticity and strength in his voice. It was paper thin through so much of this performance. On top of that, it was all a bit too performative for us, with Jamar playing around with a lot of his notes without really committing to any of them. It was staccato when we wanted the chance to hear him belt just to know he could. The falsetto was the first time he showed more than one small range and volume to what he does, and it almost came too late.

Results: Chance, Blake Turn [Team Chance]

Walker Wilson

("Hurricane," Band of Heathens - 24, Nashville, TN) Walker has potential to settle into that dirty South style of Southern Rock and Country, but right now he's all dirt and no polish. There needs to be a healthy does of heart with that grit and grime in the voice. We heard a lot of style, without substance. There was one lane he was singing in and it's what you're told this genre of music sounds like, so it's like he's putting on what he expects we want to hear rather than feeling it come up through his bones. He needs a dose of authenticity so we can believe he lives this sound.

Results: Blake Turns [Team Blake]

Nicollette Sheridan Says RHOBH Producers Are Desperate to Have Her: 'Knocking At My Door'

Sophia Hoffman

("Amor Eterno," Rocío Dúrcal - 18, Chula Vista, CA) Sophia was so close to getting a button to press, but she spent too much of the song in this very safe pocket for herself vocally. It was only toward the end that she started to push it. It's weird to say, but it was just too pretty throughout. There was nothing raw and feeling about what she gave. It felt very safe. She has a pretty tone, but without any sense of her passion or her drive as an artist -- or even her passion and drive to be on this show -- there wasn't enough to grab onto and say, 'Yes!' It was pretty, but it was also just there. Still, no chairs was a bit of a surprise as the talent is definitely there and that's what Coaching is for.

Results: No Chairs Turn

Manasseh Samone

("Rise Up," Andra Day - 22, Dallas, TX) Manasseh auditioned last season and didn't get a chair turn, but she came back with a new look and new confidence to try again. Her song choice was inspiration and a message back to that rejection last year. It was still a little shaky, but there are definitely pieces to her voice that could be honed into something incredible. She's got a lot of power, a nice vibrato and good control. We'd like to see her push her upper end in full voice to see where she can go. It was nice to see that shift after Chance turned, as the emotion she was feeling fell into her voice. She's got a long way to go yet to be world-class, so the challenge lies before her. Will she rise up?

Results: Chance Turns [Team Chance]

ALI

("Killing Me Softly with His Song," Roberta Flack - 24, Walnut, CA) Right away, Ali is coming at all of this from a different place as she was born deaf. Her mother said she has perfect pitch and her father is a drummer, so music was always a part of her experience, even as she experienced it in a completely different way than hearing people. Her pitch was impeccable when she did hit the stage, with very tasteful runs that slid up and down the scale very tastefully. We'd have liked a little more oomph in the overall performance, but there's no denying how impressive it is that she can do what she does, nor her passion for it.

Results: Kelly, Chance Turn [Team Kelly]

Priyanka Chopra Told She Wasn't Sample Size, 'Cried' to Nick Jonas

Jerome Godwin III

("pov," Ariana Grande - 20, Montgomery, AL) Leaning a little too far into his musical theater, it was about halfway through before we got any sense of who Jerome might be as an artist underneath. Or how he even sees himself, to be honest. There was this beautiful texture to his tone throughout, so the gift of his voice was never in question. It was his artistry that was missing through so much of this. Finally, the talent was undeniable and he proved himself worthy of a shot, but he's definitely going to have to start to self-identify as some kind of artist so there's a vision we can all see and root for along the way.

Results: Kelly, Niall Turn [Team Niall]

EJ Michels

("Easy on Me," Adele - 31, Draper, UT) Definitely an unexpected vocal for a male singer, but EJ really nailed all of the full-voice parts. His falsetto was a little shaky in the first half, missing some of his notes. It also pulled away from the strong emoting otherwise happening. Adele is as much about how it makes you feel than how it sounds, and EJ definitely had some of that. He needs to relax a bit (okay, a lot) with his playing and singing. We get that nerves were probably in play here, but you can hear how much stronger he'd be if he could settle down a bit and just believe in the full length and breadth of his voice.

Results: Chance, Blake Turn [Team Blake]

Laura Littleton

("Sign of the Times," Harry Styles - 26, Dickson, TN) Laura has this fun lilt to her voice that tilted up and down the notes beautifully. It's a challenging song to sing, and she really brought a lot of personality and character to it that was her own. That's not easy to do on a song already so characterized as written. She's got an interesting look, presentation and a fun playfulness in her voice that says she could probably make a lot of different tracks interesting and memorable. On top of that, she had such incredible words to say to the panel, she's this amazing person on top of being this unique artistic talent.

Results: Kelly, Niall, Blake Turn (Kelly Blocks Blake) [Team Niall]

The Last of Us Creators Confirm Second Game Will Be Split Into Multiple Seasons

Allie Keck

("Paris (Ooh La La)," Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - 28, Nashville, TN) Sometimes it's incredible to us the voices that don't get four-chair turns. Allie from the first note proved she has it. This had passion and power and grit and everything an authentic rock voice needs. You could hear the years of experience in her voice, and how much she embraces the music from the inside out. It's not just a performance, it's a piece that speaks to her and she then speaks it to us. On top of that, she showed off a great range and hinted at the layers in her voice. She could be a real surprise on this show.

Results: Kelly, Blake Turn [Team Kelly]

Ryley Tate Wilson

("Dancing on My Own," Robyn [as performed by Calum Scott] - 15, Montgomery, AL) Coming from a busy family, Ryley is the only one musically inclined. He's building his own recording studio with his own money. His dedication to this gift at such a tender age is just the tip of the iceberg, though. He's got this incredibly sweet and humble personality and then he opened his mouth to sing. Each line was more beautiful than the last. This piece, as Calum interpreted it, is so gut-wrenching and achingly beautiful and Ryley was able to tap into all that emotion. He has such an incredible talent and wow is he an exciting addition to the show.

Results: 4-Chair Turn [Team Niall]

Rachel Bilson Reveals First Orgasm From Sex Came at 38

{content:

The now 41-year-old star, who split from Bill Hader in 2020, talked in depth with Whitney Cummings about the "perfect combination" and achieving climax

Rachel Bilson is spilling new details about her sex life.

During an episode of her "Broad Ideas" podcast, the 41-year-old actress revealed she didn't have her first orgasm from sex until she was 38.

While Bilson shared she could reach climax on her own, she was never able to get there with a partner until a few years ago.

"Isn't that crazy?" she asked her guest, Whitney Cummings. "I was the same as you. It didn't happen to me until I was 38."

Cummings had kicked off the conversation by revealing she orgasmed through sex for the first time last year after getting off birth control.

"I could do it with my hands whenever," the stand-up comedian explained while Bilson agreed, "Of course, yeah. But not from, like, d–- inside."

Though the "Hart of Dixie" star stayed mum on her experience, Cummings shared the NSFW details of the "perfect combination" that led to her first orgasm.

"He had a straight d---, and I've been told my uterus was tilted," the "2 Broke Girls" star elaborated. "And to me, sex always feels best when you're on your period."

She added, "A lot of women say they don't [orgasm from sex] until after they have a kid," to which Bilson, who is mom to 8-year-old Briar, replied, "Maybe."

This isn't the first time Rachel has opened up about her sex life on her podcast. Back in July 2022, "The O.C." alum shared how she was raised in a "sex-positive and free" home which as a result allowed her to feel more "open talking about things."

Soon afterwards Bilson shared a very candid comment about her ex Bill Hader on "Broad Ideas" where she blurted out that the thing she missed the most about Hader was "his big d---!"

She added with a laugh at the time, "You can keep that. Oh, that's funny. And cut!"

Bilson and Hader split during the beginning of the pandemic in July 2020 after initially linking in 2019.

We'll let you do the math...

Nicollette Sheridan Says RHOBH Producers Are Desperate to Have Her: 'Knocking At My Door'

{content:

Will this Desperate Housewife finally make her way onto the Real Housewives?

Nicollette Sheridan says "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" producers are knocking at her door for the 13th season.

The "Desperate Housewives" star tweeted out a poll to her fans to find out how "desperate" they were to see her on the Bravo series.

"Knocking at my door…how desperate are y'all to have me?" she wrote, tagging Andy Cohen and the cable network along with the hashtag #RHOBH.

This isn't the first time there was talk of Sheridan joining the reality show. Nicollette was previously brought up in "Real Housewives" drama when Lisa Rinna called out Sheridan on a reunion back in 2019.

"She's gonna tweet about this like crazy! You know she is. Honey, it's coming! Bring it on!" said Rinna on the show. The two had been in Twitter wars in the past, and Bravo boss Cohen noted that this would be the perfect drama for the reality show.

"You are making a compelling case for her to be on the show!" he encouraged.

If fan reactions to Sheridan's Twitter poll are anything to go by it seems there'd definitely be an eager audience for her debut -- with one fan writing they were "Beyond desperate."

The TLC reality star previously called her new beau the "love of her life."

Christine Brown is head over heels for her new boyfriend David Woolley!

The 50-year-old "Sister Wives" star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with her new boo, embraced in a loving hug while squeezed into a restaurant booth.

"I can't express how amazing it's been to have David in my life," Brown wrote in her caption. "He's an incredible man and he treats me like his Queen."

After teasing her new relationship following her split from Kody Brown, the reality star publicized her relationship with Woolley in a cute post to the social media platform on Valentine's Day.

In a series of photos of the two cuddling on the couch, Christine opened up about "finally" finding the love of her life. "I finally found the love of my life, David," she captioned the post, "The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took it's first breath."

Woolley has been no stranger to Brown's Instagram, he was also featured two days later in a video that featured the couple dancing together in the kitchen.
