Bachelor Women Tell All Reveals Next Bachelorette, Addresses Blackface Scandal, Racism

{content:

Greer Blitzer faces her blackface defense scandal, Christina Mandrell her behavior, Anastasia Keramidas her truthfulness, and Zach Shallcross all the women he dumped on "The Bachelor: The Women Tell All."

It was a big night for "The Bachelor" franchise as the women of Zach Shallcross' season got to confront him and one another -- and we got the most adorable "Bachelorette" reveal we think we've ever seen!

That's right, it was a first for Bachelor Nation! By the end of "The Women Tell All" special, Jesse Palmer invited the next franchise lead to take the helm through a clever misdirect that left her not Shallcrossed, but definitely shellshocked.

Bachelor Blowup: Heartbreak as Woman Says She's Falling in Love, Gets Booted After Hometowns

The special also got serious on two different occasions, addressing a microaggression that happened during the season and confronting head-on the blackface apology scandal that hit one of the ladies after the season finished taping.

We also give credit to Jesse and the show for acknowledging their own failings on these important topics over the years. "The truth is, as a franchise, we've done a very poor job in the past of addressing serious topics head on," Jesse said before getting into it. "We're not gonna miss that opportunity here tonight."

Zach has been a pretty lowkey Bachelor, though he's faced some criticism for how he's allegedly treated some of the women, dismissing them when they start to get to real or show too much emotion. That said, though, it's not been like he's booted every woman who's gotten too raw or vulnerable.

When Zach did come out to answer for his so-called crimes, he said that he was just fallowing his gut -- which was often a pit in his stomach. He didn't really offer any clarity as to why he made the calls he did, suggesting he wasn't being all that calculating in the moment.

The only time that was particularly frustrating, perhaps, was when Jess Girod was trying to get him to understand why from her point of view, as one of a bevy of women he's dating, a One-on-One date is important. With him never getting it, she finally threw her hands up and said she wouldn't fight for him.

During this episode, Zach didn't offer any further clarity as to what happened in that moment, though he at least acknowledged his lack of emotion before she left to being frustrated. What we wanted to know is if he ever came to understand and see her point of view!

The Christina Show

The early "villain" of the season, there was actually some brief speculation that Christina Mandrell might be the next Bachelorette (she's not). Instead, her focus tonight was on how she seemed to make every moment about her.

The women went in pretty hard on her, with Brooklyn Willie (never one to mince her words) saying that she came across like she was intentionally being manipulative or trying to intimidate the other women.

We suspect it's more that Christina doesn't necessarily see things from perspectives outside her own, so she wouldn't think it weird to snatch Charity Lawson's joy at receiving a Group Date rose by complaining that it wasn't her. Her perspective is Christina, so Charity's feelings don't even really factor in her mind.

Add to that a tendency to just speak whatever pops into her head the moment it arrives there without thought or filter, and that rawness definitely rubbed a lot of the women wrong.

This was a cast that was very keen on doing their best to respect one another -- with Brooklyn being the loudest champion of that, and Charity the recurring victim of a lack of that, oddly enough -- so Christina's me-focused approach was definitely falling afoul of that.

To her credit, she heard their feedback and said that she would take it in and work toward being a better version of herself moving forward. It also did seem by the time she left that she's not this narcissistic horrible person; she's more someone who is perhaps a little immature and self-centered, but open to learning and growing.

Katherine First

Katherine Izzo took similar heat later for that moment she stole Zach before Charity's One-on-One for a conversation that turned into a kiss. Both of them were at fault for the social rudeness of that moment toward Charity, but the women definitely took umbrage toward Kat for it, and for her refusal to own up to the fact it was selfish and disrespectful to Charity's day.

This was the moment where Brooklyn dropped her classic line, "If the she fits, lace that b---- right up!" She stood firm on that, as Kat was still upset that Brooklyn came at her so aggressively after her selfish move that day, and for several days afterward.

Brooklyn, though, refused to back down from it, believing that the way it went down and how clueless Kat was about the rudeness of it speaks volumes to her character. Truthfully, it did feel like a Christina 2.0 situation, where it was more a matter of Kat not taking other's feelings into account.

She did, though, share that something positive came out of it. During her time with Zach, she'd opened up about strains in her relationship with her mother, but through watching the show back, she shared that they are now building a proper mother-daughter relationship.

But what she got in her home life, she never did get with Zach. Her departure kind of came out of nowhere, with no really good explanation from Zach as to why that was or how it happened.

When he came out he was able to offer her exactly zero clarity as to how it went wrong, suggesting there was really no thing. It just didn't work out. It's basically the same non-closure he was able to offer Jess and Charity -- so at least he was consistent.

Anastasia Microaggressions, Inc.

While Christina was accused of making moments about herself, Anastasia Keramidas faced criticism of doing it for the followers, to build her brand and improve her business. She is listed as a "content marketing manager," so it's all about social media for her.

She was accused point-blank that she said she was only doing the show as a business opportunity -- there's always at least one! -- with Victoria Jameson saying she had the receipts.

On top of that, Anastasia -- who had a very rough night -- was also accused of having a boyfriend while filming the show. At the very least, Victoria conceded, she had a f-boy waiting in the wings.

Anastasia did her best to deflect all of this, denying that she had any boyfriend. She did waffle though a bit, going from saying her mom was watching her dog to acknowledging the existence of this guy Victoria insisted was the one watching her dog.

She also denied that she was on the show for the follows or to grow her brand, but of course any woman is going to deny that. At the same time, showing up here and taking the hits might help her grow her followers, as so many Bachelor Nation players do become influencers.

She was more respectfully quiet when confronted about her microaggression against Kylee Russell when she laughably accused Kylee of threatening to physically fight her over time with Zach. Obviously, that's not what Kylee meant, but Anastasia made it a narrative.

Genevie Mayo, then, explained to her about the stereotypes of Black women being aggressive and how those types of behavior expose bias and perpetuate those harmful stereotypes.

Anastasia tried to say that she and Kylee had talked it through and said, "I'm always learning," but Kylee wasn't going to let her off the hook that easy. She said not to get it twisted, that they'd talked, but it wasn't Anastasia apologizing for making Kylee feel any kind of way.

"It was moreso, 'Oh god, people are gonna think these things of me, what is it going to do for my life, what is it going to do for my career, it was still Stas playing the victim," Kylee shot back at her.

To this, Anastasia thankfully stayed quiet, suggesting there was truth to Kylee's words -- and possibly Victoria's, as well, about her business ambitions. Can't hurt the brand, right?

Defending Blackface

Greer Blitzer took the hot seat to talk about her season's journey effectively getting robbed by Covid, as well as the blackface apology scandal that hit her after filming. What they did not talk about, though, was how rude Zach was when she tried to relate to his Covid week during their Zoom date.

Considering he'd gone through Covid himself, fans were not only unhappy with him snapping at her on that date, but unceremoniously dumping her the moment she came out of Covid quarantine herself.

Yes, they'd missed almost three weeks of time at that point, but she was also his First Impression Rose. Why not sit down for a few hours and really talk it out and see if there was still something there.

Instead, Greer's reaction and the edit made it look like she came to see him and he said it was too late, buh-bye, see ya later!

Greer then faced even more fire when Jesse said that the franchise wasn't going to gloss over racist controversies anymore, giving her a chance to apologize. Greer apologized not only for defending her former friend's (she called her acquaintance, though) blackface picture.

She also apologized for her original apology, which did not go far enough. This time, she acknowledged that not only was the blackface racist, but her defense of it was racist, too. She even added that her ignorance of the history and denigration behind blackface was racist.

It's our job to be actively anti-racist, to call it out when we see it -- as Genevie did about Anastasia's microaggressions toward Kylee -- and to educate ourselves about this country's shameful history of racism in all its forms from its origins to its right now.

The Next Bachelorette

We have to say, we love this way of revealing the next Bachelorette, and allowing us to see it unfold in real time. Jesse teased all night that he was going to change one woman's life forever. And then he ended the show, and sent all the women back to their dressing rooms.

He told one of them, though, that they were going to play a fun game of "This or That" for their social media accounts. So we got to sit and watch as they went a few rounds before he asked, "'Bachelor in Paradise' or 'The Bachelorette'?"

She responded "Bachelorette," and props to Jesse for the perfect answer. "Are you good with that?" he asked her. It took a couple more back-and-forths for it to really sink in to Charity that she was being asked to be the next lead for the franchise.

It's another step forward for representation, with Charity being the third Black Bachelorette and fourth Black franchise lead. She follows in the footsteps of Rachel Lindsay, Tayshia Adams and Matt James.

We had a feeling this was coming, if you caught our coverage of Monday's episode, because it certainly looked like Charity was getting the "next Bachelorette edit." We didn't know it would be announced so soon.

We're also not sure what kind of personality she'll bring to the show as she's goofy and awkward and sweet and charming, but sometimes faded into the background among the larger personalities on this season. We can at least hope she won't be as boring as Zach.

It's been good for his journey that he's so boring, but it's not been great for the franchise, which is seeing record lows in ratings. At least the women stepped up to create some drama and controversy (for better or worse).

Andy Cohen Says New Vanderpump Rules Is 'Shocking' Amid Scandoval

Women Tell All Chatter

  • "What was it about Christina that was rubbing you the wrong way?" --Jesse (to Brooklyn)
  • "It came across with some of the comments that were made, her words and actions were kind of calculated and manipulative, like she was trying to intimidate us." --Brooklyn
  • "I have a hot take on Christina, and my hot take is, I love you, Christina. I think your personality is so bold and so out there. I feel like you're gonna say what everyone else is thinking but everyone else is gonna be quiet about." --Olivia L
  • "You went home Night One." --Katherine
  • "You're right, I did go home Night One. And then Zach learned about your personality and sent you home, so what does that say about you?" --Olivia L
  • "How surprised were you with the reaction you got from the other women?" --Jesse (to Christina)
  • "Being told that you're making people feel uncomfortable when that's something I've never been told before; what that does to my mind is I'm trying to then-- I probably could have shut the f--- up a little bit more, but what my mind wanted to was do more, make sure people understand my intentions and that I am being nice. I didn't know what to do and it felt like everything I did was just the wrong thing and it was hard. Thank you guys for letting me know because I can take all of that and be better in the future." --Christina
  • "I was told that you explicitly said that you were only going on this show as a business opportunity. I literally have the receipts." --Victoria J
  • "Anastasia, you had a boyfriend on the show. You called him in the Bahamas when you got your phone back." --Cat
  • "I was literally this girl's roommate. You think I'd f---ing know if she had a boyfriend." --Genevie
  • "Okay, boyfriend, you were f---ing, I don't know." --Cat
  • "Okay, keep lying, Anastasia, maybe you'll hit the 50k you wanted so bad." --Victoria J
  • "Black women in general, every day we deal with the stereotype of being aggressive people and we deal with these very harsh microaggressions which, for anybody that doesn't know, are extremely subtle, very everyday interactions and behaviors that communicate bias towards historically marginalized groups of people. And it is insane the fact that you would, knowing Kylee, use that and try to propel that stereotype. You could have let that go, but instead you went around to the whole group date and made it a thing that it wasn't." --Genevie
  • "I know we've talked about this before, and I am sorry about anything I did that made you uncomfortable, it wasn't my intention and I'm always learning." --Anastasia
  • "Yeah, okay, well, let's clear the air because I don't want it to look like we talked about it, we're okay, now. Because, we have talked about it but never did it come to a point like, 'Oh my god, Kylee, I'm really sorry I made you feel this way.' It was moreso, 'Oh god, people are gonna think these things of me, what is it going to do for my life, what is it going to do for my career, it was still Stas playing the victim. So I will say, I hope you are educated from the situation and you grow from it and become a better human because of it. But now I accept your apology and I'm okay." --Kylee
  • "Were you surprised at the reaction you got from the rest of the women?" --Jesse (to Katherine about stealing Zach for a conver-kiss before Charity's One-on-One)
  • "Kat did apologize later on and we're good, but it kind of circles back to, like, a Christina moment, unfortunately. Like, it's not appropriate timing to do that, which is why I think Brooklyn obviously came to my defense." --Charity
  • "My head was just obviously not there, but like you said, we apologized, and we worked it through. We were mature adults in that situation. I think what was not mature and wasn't handled appropriately was just how you spoke to me, how you spoke about my character." --Katherine (to Brooklyn)
  • "And I will say it again. If the shoe fits, lace that b---- right on up." --Brooklyn
  • "I remember how I felt in that moment and I just felt so misunderstood. At the end of the day, I just wanted a date. I just wanted time. And it didn't feel like what I was trying to say was coming across to him." --Jess (about her One-on-One talk with Zach before leaving)
  • "I know what I deserve and it was way more than that." --Jess
  • "When I watched him upset [while I was] driving away, my thought was, why didn't you show me that? Why didn't you give me a little bit of that, because that would have made me feel worthy of just-- it would have made me feel like he cared." --Jess
  • "I was so insecure and I was so overwhelmed in London because I just kept thinking,' Okay, we're losing time, which means I'm losing him.' So every week that went by, I felt like I was losing our relationship. As much as I love tea, it really wasn't about the tea." --Greer
  • "The truth is, as a franchise, we've done a very poor job in the past of addressing serious topics head on. We're not gonna miss that opportunity here tonight." --Jesse (about Greer defending blackface)
  • "I've been wanting to address this. I don't want to sweep it under the rug. I will say I am nervous right now to talk about it, but I really do want to address it. What I failed to mention in my apology was that what happened was racist. It's not about the intent, it's about the impact. And this acquaintance of mine that I knew performing blackface was racist. Me defending it was racist. My ignorance was racist. And I'm just so ashamed. I'm just deeply sorry that I hurt the Black community. I can't go back in time. All I can do is try to be better now, and try to do better in my future." --Greer
  • "It's remembering how happy I was that's making me emotional like this." --Katherine (watching package back)
  • "Even now, watching it, I don't understand … I still don't know what shifted." --Katherine (about why Zach broke up with her)
  • "This has impacted my family more than I thought it would. I have a mother-daughter relationship with my mom now because of it." --Katherine (about her honesty about that relationship on the show)
  • "Greer, you've really thought this through." --Jesse (about bathroom etiquette)
  • "Yeah, I eat a lot of spicy foods." --Greer
  • "Was there any tangible moment or time or instance, even, that you can give me to say, like, that there was a shift in our relationship." --Katherine (to Zach)
  • "Our connection never faltered. But when it was getting to that point right before Hometowns, I had to make that very difficult decision. There was nothing, not one moment or date or words said or anything like that that made me look at you any different. It was just a very difficult decision." --Zach
  • "That morning after meeting four different families, I had the biggest pit in my stomach because I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how I was going to go about this … There was no process or way to go about it." --Zach (to Charity)
  • "Watching it back, I was shocked at how sad you were when I was leaving. It hurt because it was, like, why couldn't I see that when we were having that conversation." --Jess (to Zach)
  • "I don't know why those emotions didn't come out in the moment, if anything, I was just frustrated." --Zach
  • "Watching this back, what's been the most surprising thing." --Jesse (to Zach)
  • "The amount of shower scenes. And the amount of times I say, 'like,' and 'hello, hello.'" --Zach
  • "'Bachelor in Paradise' or 'The Bachelorette'?" --Jesse (to Charity)
  • "Let's say Bachelorette." --Charity
  • "Are you good with that?" --Jesse
  • "Yeah? What? Is that a wrong answer? Oh my god?" --Charity
  • "You think Bachelorette's the one?" --Jesse
  • "Yeah." --Charity
  • "Well, I'm glad you said that. Because, Charity, I want you to be our next Bachelorette." --Jesse

"The Bachelor" continues Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Endless Summer Vacation Album Cover

Miley Cyrus & Brandi Carlile - Thousand Miles Lyrics

Verse 1: Miley Cyrus
Amazing, I'm driving 'round town in a beat-up old Mercedes
You think I'm crazy, you might be right
But when he smiles, I don't care about the past
Just like that

Pre-Chorus: Miley Cyrus
I told myself I closed that door, but I'm right back here again
I know half of what I'm saying don't make no sense
So don't ask me where I been

Chorus: Miley Cyrus
I'm not always right, but still, I ain't got time for what went wrong
Where I end up, I don't really care
I'm out of my mind, but still, I'm holding on like a rolling stone
A thousand miles from anywhere

Verse 2: Miley Cyrus & Brandi Carlile
I look in the rear-view, I was talking to you 'fore I realize
This madness before the sadness
Oh, I pick up the phone and I call back home, but all I get is a dial tone
And instead of hanging up, I hang my head

Pre-Chorus: Miley Cyrus & Brandi Carlile
I told myself I closed that door, but I'm right back here again
I know half of what I'm saying don't make no sense
So don't ask me where I been

Chorus: Miley Cyrus & Brandi Carlile
I'm not always right, but still, I ain't got time for what went wrong
Where I end up, I don't really care
I'm out of my mind, but still, I'm holding on like a rolling stone

Lindsay Lohan's Dad Michael Praises Her 'Maternal Instincts' Following Pregnancy Announcement

{content:

The reality star said he was looking forward to the rest of his kids Lilana and Cody Lohan joining their siblings in welcoming children.

Lindsay Lohan's father is excited to become a grandfather once again!

On Tuesday, the "Mean Girls" alum announced she was pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Bader Shammas, after tying the knot last year. In a post to Instagram, the 36-year-old mom-to-be captioned a photo of a onesie with "coming soon..." written on it, "We are blessed and excited!"

Her father, Michael Lohan, later gushed over his daughter's pregnancy during an interview with 1010 WINS.

"I couldn't be happier. I think Lindsay and Bader will make amazing parents," the 62-year-old television personality said. "Lindsay is just very maternal. I see the way she is, not just the way she is with my kids, but with her siblings when she was younger. And even with other children, she has very maternal instincts."

In addition to Lindsay, Michael is also father to Ashley Kaufmann, Cody Lohan, Aliana Lohan and Michael Lohan Jr.

"Even now, she's always telling her brothers and sisters what to do," Michael added with a laugh, "She's the glue that bonds."

Of her professional comeback, he said, "Who knows maybe now that she's pregnant maybe there will be role for a pregnant woman, who knows?"

When asked about how he felt about getting another grandchild, the "Horrorween" star reflected on his role as a grandfather.

"Again, how about that. It makes me feel older or younger. One or the other. You are a lot more active, busier. Trying to do the things that a grandfather does, but you realize your kids are having kids," he said, before anticipating the rest of his children welcoming new additions to the family. "I just have Ali and Cody and then I'm done!"

Back in July 2022, Lohan and Shammas revealed the two were engaged in a series of Instagram photos. At the time, she captioned the post, "My love. My life. My family. My future."

Lindsay and Bader confirmed their marriage after the "Parent Trap" actress referring to him as her "husband" in another post to the platform shortly after. Lohan and Shammas now live together in Dubai.

Law Roach Announces Retirement Due to 'Politics, the Lies and False Narratives'

{content:

He shocked Hollywood with his announcement, with Naomi Campbell commenting, "I won't let you" and Christian Siriano adding, "Absolutely not."

Are Law Roach's days as a celebrity stylist behind him?

That's how it seems after he shared a post reading "RETIRED" to his Instagram page on Tuesday, along with a caption that more than suggested he was out of the game going forward.

My Cup is empty ... thank you to everyone who've supported me and my career over the years. Every person that trusted me with their image, I'm so grateful for you all," he wrote. "If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it's not!"

He concluded: "The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win ... I'm out. ❤️❤️❤️"

While it's unclear just how serious he is about his retirement, Roach's many famous followers, fans and collaborators were shocked by the post, flooding the comment section of the photo.

"Law I won't let you !!!! We don't quit .. strived to hard," wrote Naomi Campbell. Added Christian Siriano: "Absolutely not." Addison Rae exclaimed "WHAT?! 😭" while Nene Leakes seemed to support the decision by writing, "Mental health is first 💜"

Jordin Sparks wrote, "Sending you all the sunshine!" as Lisa Rinna added, "Law we need you!!!! We love you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️" Tess Holiday added, "I only worked with you once, and even though it was virtual I was absolutely blown away by your heart & grace. You are brilliant, kind, & irreplaceable. ✨1 of 1✨ whatever this storm is, we are all sending you love & strength 🖤"

Maren Morris simply left a broken heart emoji, while Holly Robinson Peete commented, "You are appreciated and celebrated! Ignore the noise!." Many of his fans were also shocked, wondering if it was an early April Fool's Day joke.

The announcement comes shortly after the stylist dressed Hailee Steinfeld, Kerry Washington, Eve Jobs, Megan Thee Stallion and, in a standout look, Hunter Schaefer for the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday night. Roach is most known for his work with Zendaya, with whom he's collaborated since her Disney days. He also appeared as a judge on "America's Next Top Model" and HBO Max's "Legendary."

TooFab has reached out to reps for both the "Euphoria" star and Roach himself for comment.

Mark Ballas Announces DWTS Retirement After 26 Seasons

{content:

Ballas announced his DWTS retirement alongside Charli D'Amelio, who he won his final Mirrorball trophy with last November

Mark Ballas is retiring his pro status on "Dancing With The Stars" after almost 16 years on the dance competition show.

The professional dancer made the announcement during a DWTS tour stop in Las Vegas on Sunday. He began on the show back in 2007's Season 5 (it's now on 31 seasons).

"I started this journey when I was 21, 22. Honestly, being able to dance and perform for you fans, you guys are the best fans. Thank you," Ballas told fans, per People.

"So, I just wanna finish by saying this will be the last time you see me dance in this capacity. I'm coming to a close tonight. This is gonna be my last dance," he said.

Ballas was joined by Charli D'Amelio onstage for the announcement -- the duo won the Mirrorball trophy last November, which was Ballas' third time winning the honor.

During his tenure on DWTS, Ballas danced with celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Melissa Joan Hart. This is not the end of dancing permanently, Ballas clarified, but just the last time he will have a star-studded partner for his performances.

"I'm not saying this is the end, [but] this is the last time I will be dancing with a [celebrity] partner," said Ballas. "And I wanted to finish this with Charli, and I appreciate you guys so much. I wanna do this freestyle for you one more time. Thank you for everything, I appreciate it."

Ballas also took to Instagram to share some nice words about D'Amelio.

"Enjoy this moment with your whole heart because you deserve this Char," he posted. "I feel honored & privileged to have been your coach, partner, friend & big brother." Ballas also shared in the Instagram post that he considered saying no to his Season 31 offer, as he "felt this chapter of [his] life had come to a close."

"I had the best time ever this season, and this freestyle was just a great way to finish it off," Ballas said in his final episode. "This song means the world to me, Charli means the world to me, the D'Amelio family, you guys mean the world to me. Thank you for everything."

Zebra Put Down by Police After Nearly Tearing Arm Off Ohio Man

{content:

"You got attacked by a what?" asked a stunned 9-1-1 operator, before police body cam footage showed the wild scene unfold.

A Zebra was put down by deputies in Pickaway County, Ohio this week after police responded to an extremely out of the ordinary call to a local farm.

On Sunday night, 9-1-1 operators received a call from 72-year-old Ronald Clifton, who reported he just "got attacked by a zebra." The operator was clearly stunned by the man's claim, asking, "You got attacked by a what?!" before asking if the animal bit his arm.

"Oh hell yes, I think he tore my arm off," said Clifton (via Fox News), who then asked for authorities to send a helicopter.

Deputies found Clifton on the ground, in pain, when they arrived. As police applied a tourniquet to the victim, the zebra reportedly charged the door of one of the cruisers and acted "very hostile." They momentarily scared it off with the siren.

On bodycam footage from the scene, the police are seen asking a farmhand if there's "a way for you to keep [the zebra] back," adding, "We're trying not to shoot him." The man chased it off again with a stick, but it wasn't long before the animal slowly started to make its way back toward the deputies.

Clifton's family warned the responding officers to "keep looking at" the zebra and instructed them not to turn their heads away from the animal. Per the police report, the family also said police could shoot the animal if it got too close. According to Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey (via ABC News), the officers were eventually forced to "put down the zebra because it became aggressive towards deputies and other people on the scene."

Clifton was rushed to the hospital and his family said he won't lose his arm.

According to ABC, the reason behind the animal's attack is unknown -- though officers speculated the male zebra was territorial of female zebras at the farm; it also could have been scared by ongoing work on the property.

FYI: Per Ohio law, zebras aren't classified as exotic animals and are categorized as horses. It's unlikely the remaining zebras will be removed from the farm.

Andy Cohen Says New Vanderpump Rules Is 'Shocking' Amid Scandoval

{content:

The Bravo mogul also confirms the new hour wasn't "recut" after the Raquel-Tom affair news broke.

Andy Cohen is clearing up "Vanderpump Rules" fan theories that Bravo editors have been recutting upcoming episodes following the Scandoval bombshell.

During Monday's episode of "Andy Cohen Live" on Sirius XM, the 54-year-old network mogul teased that this week's new episode of the reality show may be the most jaw dropping yet.

"Guys, you're going to watch Wednesday's episode. You are going to think that it was recut, okay?" said Andy, who claimed the episode coincidentally reflects the drama that ensued. "It was not recut. This was the episode."

The "Watch What Happens Live" host revealed he only recently watched the episode after it was sent to him "weeks ago" and was shocked by its contents following the cheating scandal.

Earlier this month, TMZ broke the news that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix split after nine years together amid the latter's discovery that the former had been cheating on her with costar Raquel Leviss.

Sources also told the outlet that Ariana called things off with Tom after she found text messages -- and a video -- on his phone that were said to be "sexual in nature." The insiders added that Madix told friends she discovered Leviss and Sandoval's alleged affair had been going on for months.

"I watched it and I was like, 'People are going to think we did this, or we moved stuff up,'" Cohen explained. "The conversations that go on between Katie [Maloney] and Lala [Kent] and Raquel are not to be believed in the light of what has come out. But I'm telling y'all, the episode was not touched. This is how it was going to be shown, which makes it all the more shocking. You won't believe it."

This isn't the first time members of the "Vanderpump Rules" camp have denied recent episodes have been altered. Following March 8th's installment of the series, Lala took to her Instagram Story to dispel fan rumors that the episode was reedited after news Sandoval and Leviss' alleged affair broke.

"I may get in trouble for saying this," the 32-year-old reality star explained in a video. "But I'm gonna say it anyway. I heard … people are talking about how editors of VPR probably went back through and, like, tweaked things to kind of, like, align with what happened. Not true."

"What you guys are gonna see this season — before we obviously know what we know now — was very much going to be the storyline of … you know who," the "Give Them Lala" author seemingly referred to Leviss. "With or without what just happened in the last week."

"Vanderpump Rules" airs Wednesdays on Bravo.

Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Weirdest Wellness Practice She Does Involving Rectum

{content:

The goop founder called the procedure which involves a catheter inserted into the colon to deliver a powerful gas, "pretty weird" but "very helpful."

Gwyneth Paltrow says one of her cherished wellness practices involves the rectum.

During an appearance on Dear Media's "The Art of Being Well" podcast, the 50-year-old goop founder revealed the weirdest wellness thing she's ever done was rectal ozone therapy.

"I have used ozone therapy, rectally. Can I say that?" the "Iron Man" actress said. "It's pretty weird. It's pretty weird, yeah. But it's been very helpful."

The procedure involves a catheter inserted into the colon to deliver a powerful gas. Some proposed benefits of rectal ozone therapy include reduced pain/inflammation, increased energy, improved metabolism/circulation, stimulated immune system, detoxification, anti-aging, and fighting bacterial/viral infections.

However, the FDA published a statement in 2019 that stated there has been no conclusive evidence ozone is useful for supportive or preventative medical practices and labeled it as a toxic gas.

To be used for disinfectant or anti-viral properties, the FDA stated "[i]n order for ozone to be effective as a germicide, it must be present in a concentration far greater than that which can be safely tolerated by man and animals."

The actress also shared that her journey for better health and wellness has led her to sip on ketone drinks.

"It helps with cognition and brain fog and energy. I have it with green tea in the afternoon. It tastes pretty, pretty bad," Gwyneth admitted before adding. "I believe that they are coming out with an improved flavor or an improved version, which is very exciting."

In addition to her treatments, the "Seven" star revealed her daily exercise routine which involves transcendental meditation, Pilates, the Tracy Anderson workout and 30 minute infrared sauna sessions.

Paltrow has long been known for her adoption of various wellness tactics that have included yoni eggs and vaginal steamings, but looking back, she explained that her interest began when her father was diagnosed with cancer.

"I didn't think about [wellness] a lot until my father was diagnosed with cancer. I started realizing there had to be a connection through what we were eating and what we were being exposed to," she said of her findings. "And how that was being expressed through disease. And that's when I started researching whatever I could. Talking to people. Understanding the links between environmental toxins, cancer … what led to the creation of disease in our culture."

Paris Hilton Memoir Bombshells: Everything She Wrote About Famous Friends and Painful Past

{content:

In her new book, Hilton opens up about past assault, abortion, famous friends like Kim Kardashian and Nicole Richie and her criticisms of P!nk's Stupid Girls video and South Park.

Paris Hilton's life is an open book, literally now.

While she's lived in the public eye for years, she's opening up about the things that went down behind-the-scenes like never before in her new memoir, "Paris: The Memoir," out today.

Many of the big revelations in the book came out ahead of its release, including Hilton sharing for the first time that she was raped when she was 15, as well as a teacher's inappropriate interest in her, the abortion she had at 20 after becoming pregnant with model Jason Shaw and her "unpleasant" encounter with Harvey Weinstein. See what she had to say about the above here.

Her thoughts on her leaked sex tape with Rick Salomon and her traumatic past at a boarding school in her teen years also came out ahead of the book's debut. In the book, she also shares it was Demi Lovato who inspired her to open up about her boarding school years, after watching the singer's "Simply Complicated" documentary.

Keep reading to see what else we learned about Hilton in "Paris: The Memoir."

She Feels a Certain Type of Way About P!nk's Stupid Girls Video

After opening up about being a rape survivor, Hilton said many women are labeled "stupid girl" after reporting sexual assault, something she also believed of herself. And to see that term used by P!nk at a time she was weathering a sex tape scandal definitely stung.

"Who's more generous, evolved, and progressive than Pink? Nobody! She's effing awesome. Brilliant!" Hilton prefaced her thoughts on the video, which included a parody of the tape. "When everyone was buzzing about a sex tape of a certain teenage girl from a soon-to-be-hit TV show -- a girl who said emphatically over and over that she did not want the tape out there -- the takeaway was 'Stupid Girl.'"

"The whole video is a not-at-all-subtle send-up of 'porno paparazzi girls' in general and, specifically, me, in a parody of my infamous sex tape. That tape, made when I was not legally old enough to be served a rum and coke in a bar, was released and monetized against my will, but when that thing hit the internet, the full weight of public outrage, scorn, and disgust came down on me instead of on the massive crowd of people who bought and sold it, sparking a steady drip of fake Paris Hilton sex tapes, and blazing a trail for a whole cottage industry that would ruin the lives of other vulnerable teenage girls in the future," she wrote. "Pink sang about 'outcasts and girls with ambition' and said, 'That's what I wanna see.' But she chose not to see it in me."

Hilton reiterated that she's "not mad" at the singer, said there's "no Pink-Paris 'feud'" and added she's not one to hold grudges, but wanted to be "honest" about how the video made her feel.

Her Relationships with Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears

Hilton gives glimpses into her relationships with some of her famous friends throughout the book.

Of Kim Kardashian, Paris praised her closet organizing business from back in the day, before saying she and Kim "balanced each other" out. "I was a disorganized night owl; Kim was an efficient early riser," wrote Paris, "It felt good to have someone I knew I could trust and depend on. We went everywhere together—New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Australia, Germany, and Ibiza."

Of one trip to Ibiza, Hilton said she and Kim "looked out for each other," adding that, "Reliable backup is an essential element of the girlfriend trip." She also said Kardashian believed in her DJ ambitions, before saying that she and Kim "made Instagram our bitch," leading to a decline in "the kind of paparazzi insanity that killed Princess Diana."

Of her longtime friendship with Nicole Richie, she said the pair even had their first kisses during the same game of Spin the Bottle.

"Nicole Richie and I were ride or die from our terrible twos, and we'll stay that way until the world ends," she added. "When we were teenagers, riffing off each other, doing silly voices, everyone around us was dying. We were dying. I'm dying now just thinking about it!"

She compared them to Lucy and Ethel, calling Richie "genuinely kind and sweet" and praising her raunchy side on "The Simple Life." She added, "This show would not have been what it is with anyone other than Nicole Richie."

As for Lindsay Lohan, she came up when talking about the so-called "Bimbo Summit" or "Holy Trinity" photo of Paris, Lindsay and Britney Spears together out in Hollywood back in 2006. Paris said it was "kind of awkward" when Lohan got into the 2-seater car with them, but couldn't recall any details after they drove away together. Hilton said she loved that the "Bimbo Summit" headline hasn't aged well, pointing to her success as a businesswoman, Britney's freedom from her conservatorship and Lohan's engagement and "professional comeback." She added, "We're not close, but I always wish her well."

She also said Spears looked like a "gorgeous angel princess bride" at her wedding to Sam Asghari "after all those nightmare years" under a conservatorship.

Her Issues With South Park

In 2004, "South Park" aired an episode called "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset," in which the creators took aim at the public's obsession with people like Paris Hilton. She was excited to see the show ... and then it aired.

"I'm the title character, but they also apply that epithet to Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Tara Reid, and all the little girls who were fans, which upset me more than anything ugly they could say about me," she said, taking major issue with her dog Tinkerbell committing suicide to get away from her on the cartoon.

At the time, she simply said she hadn't watched it, coming from a place "prior to #MeToo" where women were "taught to be cool, rise above and accept stuff like that."

"What's really f---ed up is that I did accept it. I kept quiet about it. For decades," she wrote. "I debated even bringing it up here, because ick and because I hate hate hate conflict. They're obviously better at bashing me than I could ever be at bashing them."

She also criticized the show for an episode in which Cartman says he'd like to watch Selena Gomez get beat up -- saying Gomez is "one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet in your life."

"I love South Park. I'm not saying South Park is a terrible show or that they should be canceled," she added, before saying she hopes creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone "will consult their better angels about the need to keep streaming 'Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset.' And the Selena Gomez ep. Or the thing about Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus being murdered while people take pictures of ..."

Her Own Regrets

After calling out "South Park" she also turned the finger back at herself, pointing out some of the biggest regrets of her own life.

First, she joked about wearing "horrific Von Dutch caps," before acknowledging how she once dressed as "Sexy Pocahontas" for Halloween and was seen on video singing "a totally inappropriate version of Snoop Dogg's 'Gin and Juice,' N-words and all.

"When I was put on the spot in an interview, I pretended I voted for Donald Trump because he was an old family friend and owned the first modeling agency I signed with -- and when I left to go to another agency, he was furious and intimidated the shit out of me on the phone," she added. "The truth is even worse: I didn't vote at all. Am I standing by these choices? Would I make the same choices again, knowing what I know now? Of course not! None of that reflects the person I am now."

She also said it was important to apologize, "in private where it counts" and "in public if it helps."

"Paris: The Memoir" is available now.

Jameela Jamil Blasts Ozempic at Oscars: 'None of This Lasts'

{content:

"All I can do is reach you and tell you it's not as real as you think," the "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" actress said

Jameela Jamil is calling out toxic diet culture at this year's Academy Awards.

Following Hollywood's biggest night, the 37-year-old "She-Hulk" star took to Instagram to share her take on why everyone was so "skinny" at the awards ceremony this year.

In a black text block posted to her feed, Jamil reminded her followers not to use their favorite celebrities as weight loss goals as their bodies often are not achieved by healthy or natural means.

"A lot of discourse about how skinny everyone is at the Oscar's this year," she began. "A LOT of people this year took weight loss injections (which don't keep the weight off permanently)."

"The Good Place" actress doubled down on claims she wasn't trying to be "judgemental," but rather attempting to keep her followers from being "triggered" or "make any sudden decisions, because of the images of impossible standards that come out today."

"It's a temporary extreme," Jamil continued. "None of this lasts. Very rarely is it unrestrictive and healthy. Don't shame yourself because you don't look like these women tonight."

She added a disclaimer that her criticism didn't apply to "ALL the people at the Oscars."

The British actor continued her discourse on how "weight loss becomes an Olympic sport during awards season" in her caption.

While Jamil "loved so many of the dresses, and the people in them," she called the weight loss practices leading up to the red carpet, "an industry pressure and a result of f---king tiny samples from designers that are straight off the runway from fashion month, that result in such a forced uniform thinness, and fear of wrinkles."

"They're all so beautiful and talented, and I love them. And I wish none of us felt that pressure. Maybe one day…" she wrote.

"But for now, all I can do is reach you and tell you it's not as real as you think it is, and as someone who did all this s--t for 2 decades, it's not worth it ❤️" she concluded.

Rob Lowe's Son John Owen on Nepotism, Drugs and Dad's Sex Tape

{content:

"I was in eighth grade or freshman year of high school, and some kid said, 'You know, your dad has a sex tape online,'" John Owen said of learning about his dad's past

John Owen Lowe is opening up about the experience of growing up as Rob Lowe's son.

In a joint interview with Men's Health alongside his father, the 28-year-old "Unstable" co-creator shared his take on the long debated conversation on nepotism in Hollywood as well as how growing up in his dad's shadow affected his confidence and his sobriety.

After prefacing that his parents had discouraged him from pursuing acting until he finished college and sought out other interests, John Owen said the drive to act and write kept "bubbling up" until he could no longer contain it.

While the Stanford alum acknowledged his famous last name afforded him many sought out opportunities, he had to prove he had the talent to back up his ambition.

"My take is, there is a healthy conversation in there somewhere," John Owen explained. "I'm always more than willing—and I think it's important—to acknowledge that I did have opportunities that other people didn't have. I did get that foot in the door that most people don't, and for that I'm grateful. And what is also true is that after getting that foot in the door, you do have to prove yourself."

He continued, "There's a difference between children of nepotism who have just been platformed and coasted on that and the ones who have worked hard and care about what they do."

Though having a celebrity parent is sure to open doors, John Owen also opened up about the pressures of growing up with such a successful father.

By the time he was in middle school, the "Holiday in the Wild" actor learned of his father's infamous sex tape leaked in the late '80s.

"I was in eighth grade or freshman year of high school, and some kid said, 'You know, your dad has a sex tape online,'" he said. "I was like, What?"

John Owen compared finding out about his parents' past to a kid realizing there's no such thing as Santa Claus.

"I don't think most parents ever have that moment where they sit the kids down and go, 'Okay, we've got to tell you something.' A kid just figures it out," he explained to which Rob confirmed. "Wikipedia and Google took care of that for us."

John Owen began to realize that friends at school would have a lot of questions about his dad and he would get the feeling people were only interested in being in close proximity to a celebrity.

"The number of times I got compared to my dad, and the number of times he was brought up in conversation, made me so uncomfortable that I wanted to move as far away from that as possible," he admitted.

"I was so closed off and so out of touch with my emotions,"  John Owen said, explaining how he would exude a false persona. "I came off to people as this confident, probably cocky, self-absorbed extrovert. I loved to be the life of the party. The truth was, I was deeply insecure. I'd felt the pressure put on me as a young kid at a time when he doesn't understand why people are talking about him or looking at him in a certain way. I was a scared little kid trapped in a teenager's body."

Looking back, Lowe said the driving force behind his need to self-medicate "makes me sad to think about."

"Many times I could have died. I really liked to push the limits of my body and numb out as much as I could," he admitted. "There's a certain level of self-doubt, or uncomfortability with one's self. The more insecure I grew, the more aggressively I used—to medicate. I've been to many hospitals many times. I've been very lucky."

John Owen went on to credit his parents for helping him get sober.

"When I was at my lowest points, my parents were throwing their lifeline of recovery at me in a way that I was like, Ahhh, get away! It's abrasive. It's like I was drowning and they were slamming me on the head with the life raft. Because my feelings were that I didn't matter, and a lot of that stemmed from having the dad that I had," he explained. "Once I was treated as if my voice and opinion were valid, I was able to access a part of me that was scared and hiding. Finally the thing that worked was when they said, 'We love you and we're scared.'"

His father Rob added, "I have a slightly different—not different, but additional view. Which is, he wasn't ready for us to turn the keys over to him. His perspective is he woke up one morning and we did it. Why didn't we do it earlier? Well, there was a fucking good reason we didn't. He wasn't ready."
