The club has to decide. I would really love to stay at Real Madrid for my whole life, but it is impossible. I want to continue here. If they want me to stay 3 months, I will enjoy 3 months. If they want 3 years, I'll enjoy 3 years.

There are reports that the Italian might be sacked if the club fail to win La Liga. Real Madrid have struggled in the league playing second fiddle to Barcelona. The Galacticos are nine points behind Barcelona having played 25 games.

There are a lot of factors that go into an actor's decision to accept a big screen role. From the salary to the script, seasoned actors usually take their time to determine if they want to sign on for a flick. While they're weighing their options, some other factors may come into play that end up being a little bit more unusual. From the advice of a fortune teller to a losing bet, some stars have admitted that they've taken on roles for some hilarious and strange reasons.

1. Matthew McConaughey

Back in the early 2000s when Matthew McConaughey was considering if he should take on his role in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," he says he consulted with a fortune teller. He explained that he was on a walk one night on Sunset Boulevard when a psychic approached him with a message.

"This guy comes up out of nowhere to me -- he was a fortune teller guru [and] goes, 'Can I tell you your fortune real quick?' I was like, 'Yeah, man. Sure.' He immediately goes, 'There's a movie you're considering right now. It's a romantic comedy. You have to do this or it will be one of the biggest regrets of your life. It is going to be a blast, it is going to be an incredible experience and it is going to make a bunch of money,'" Matthew told Vanity Fair.

While he thought the studio may have hired the man, it ended up making him seriously consider the role and he accepted it the next day.

2. Vin Diesel

Back in 2006, Vin Diesel was asked to make a guest appearance in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." At the time, Vin decided to make an unusual deal with Universal Pictures. Instead of getting paid for the appearance, Vin asked if the studio would give him the rights to his "Pitch Black" character, Riddick. When Universal agreed, Vin said he would make the appearance.

3. Bruce Willis

"Friends" fans probably remember Bruce Willis' guest starring spot on the hit sitcom, but it turns out he took the gig as part of a bet. Matthew Perry explained that after meeting Bruce on the set of "The Whole Nine Yards," the pals placed a bet on whether the movie would be a hit. Bruce wasn't so sure the movie would make it big so Matthew wagered that if the film was a success, Bruce would have to appear on "Friends." When the film was a hit, Bruce headed to the "Friends" set.

"Bruce hadn't been sure the film would work at all, and I'd bet him it would -- if he lost, he had to do a guest spot on 'Friends,'" Matthew wrote in his memoir, "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing."

4. Richard Harris

Before Richard Harris' passing, he appeared in two "Harry Potter" films as Dumbledore. It turns out that he had initially declined the role quite a few times because he didn't want to commit to all the sequels. He eventually agreed to join the cast but only because his granddaughter insisted he had to accept the role.

"She said, 'Papa, I hear you're not going to be in the 'Harry Potter' movie', and she said, 'If you don't play Dumbledore then I will never speak to you again,'" Richard told Zap2it.

5. Bill Burr

Bill Burr has spent a lot of time hating on "Star Wars" in his standup act, but that's actually what landed him a role in "The Mandalorian." When he was approached by director Jon Favreau, he explained that the fact that he's always teased "Star Wars" fans is what would make the role even better.

"I went to Mike Binder's birthday party, and Jon was there, and he said, 'Hey, we're writing this thing. We kind of have you in mind. Do you want to do it?' And I said, 'I don't know, Jon. I have teased Star Wars people a lot.' He goes, 'I know. I listen to the podcast a lot. I think it would be funny if you got in it,' My wife was kicking me under the table, and I was like, 'All right, I'll do it,'" Jon said on the "Your Mom's House" podcast.

6. Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone was essentially tricked into taking on his role in "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot," a movie he later called "one of the worst films in the entire solar system." At the time, Sylvester was feuding with Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was initially offered the role in the film. After reading the script and seeing how bad it was, he turned it down -- but decided to see if he could trick Sylvester into signing on. Sylvester jumped at the opportunity to do the film before he even realized how bad it was.

"So I went in -- this was during our war -- I said to myself, I'm going to leak out that I have tremendous interest. I know the way it works in Hollywood. I would then ask for a lot of money. So then they'd say, 'Let's go give it to Sly. Maybe we can get him for cheaper.' So they told Sly, 'Schwarzenegger's interested. Here's the press clippings. He's talked about that. If you want to grab that one away from him, that is available.' And he went for it! He totally went for it. A week later, I heard about it, 'Sly is signing now to do this movie.' And I said, [pumps fist] 'Yes!'" Arnold said during Beyond Fest 2017.

7. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

When basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was offered a role in "Airplane!" he had a specific request about his salary. His agent said that he needed to be paid $35,000 so that he could purchase a specialty rug he wanted. The fee wasn't much more than the studio had planned for so they agreed.

"When we offered the role [of Murdock] to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, I think we offered him $30,000, and then the agent asked for $35,000 because that's how much this rug cost that Kareem wanted to buy. It was an oriental rug -- an art piece, not one to walk on, I don't think -- so our initial reaction was, 'That's got to be the best line we've ever heard from an agent.' It was like, 'Boy, this guy's really creative!' But then a couple of weeks later, there's an article in Time with a picture of Kareem standing in front of the oriental rug that he'd bought for $35,000 after we'd paid him," director Jerry Zucker told AV Club.

Jamie Lee Curtis Displays Her They/Them Oscar Next to a Prop Butt Plug Award

The actress -- who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in "Everything Everywhere All at Once" -- previously revealed she's decided to refer to her award by gender-neutral pronouns to "support" her transgender daughter Ruby.

Jamie Lee Curtis' newly-awarded Oscar statuette has a rather conventional home, but some very interesting neighbors.

On Wednesday, the actress took to Instagram to show off how she displayed the two big trophies she won during awards season: her Oscar and SAG Award. Curtis received the 2023 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her performance as auditor Deirdre Beaubeirdre in "Everything Everywhere All at Once."

Per the photo, Curtis is seemingly keeping her Oscar -- which she gave gender-neutral pronouns -- and SAG Award on a shelf. However, between the two statues, the "Halloween" actress had placed a third trophy: Her "EEAAO" character's "Auditor of the Year" award, which is shaped like a butt plug.

"OK I'LL STOP! The TOTALLY unexpected EVERYTHING TRIFECTA of 2023!" Curtis, 64, captioned her post. "@theacademy @sagawards #auditorofthemonth @everythingeverywheremovie."

Meanwhile, during an appearance on the "TODAY" show on Tuesday, Curtis revealed her decision to refer to her Oscar by gender-neutral pronouns.

"Here they are! In support of my daughter Ruby, I'm having them be a they/them. I'm going just call them they/them," she tearfully told Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. "And they are doing great, they're settling in, and I just, in my life, I never saw it in a million years that I would have this couple days, and I'm very moved by the whole thing."

Curtis' Oscar marked her first Academy Awards win.

She won the award over fellow female nominees Angela Bassett ("Black Panther: Wakanda Forever"), Hong Chau ("The Whale"), Kerry Condon ("The Banshees of Inisherin") and her own co-star Stephanie Hsu ("Everything Everywhere All at Once").

Taking the stage and exclaiming, "I am hundreds of people," Curtis first thanked directing duo the Daniels, her costars and everyone who worked on the film -- as well as her longtime management team and family.

"To all of the people who have supported the genre movies I have made for all these years, the thousands and hundreds of thousands of people, we just won an Oscar together!" she shouted, alluding to her early career in horror and "Halloween" legacy.

She concluded her speech in tears, referencing her parents Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh saying, "And my mother and father were both nominated in Oscars in different categories ... I just won an Oscar."

Ridley Scott is helming the sequel to his Oscar winning historical epic

Denzel Washington is in final talks to join Ridley Scott's highly anticipated sequel to "Gladiator," per Deadline.

The exact nature of Denzel's role is being kept under wraps, for now. It's been over 15 years since the duo worked together on 2007 film "American Gangster."

Also reportedly in negotiations to join the film is Oscar-nominated actor Barry Keoghan, according to THR.

The first film wowed audiences back in 2000 going on to win Best Picture at the Oscars while star Russell Crowe took the gong for Best Actor.

The two stars of the original -- Crowe's heroic Maximus and Joaquin Phoenix's patricidal Roman emperor Commodus -- both saw their demise by the end of the film.

The sequel will star Paul Mescal, who will play Lucius, the son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen) and the nephew of Commodus -- with Maximus' heroism and sacrifice having made an impact on him as a child.

Paramount announced the film is set for release in November 2024, with Scott directing.

Snoop Dogg Dances to Bagpipes Cover of Still D.R.E. Upon Arrival in Scotland

"Pipe it like it's hot," a fan joked in the comments section, while another cracked, "Probably the only pipe snoop hasn't smoked!"

Snoop Dogg had the most epic welcome upon his recent arrival in Scotland.

As shown in a video shared on social media on Thursday, the rapper touched down at Glasglow, Scotland for a concert, and was met with a welcome fit for the Scots as a piper was playing outside on the ground at the airport.

However, the musician -- Ross Ainslie -- wasn't just performing any song, but a rendition of Dr. Dre and Snoop's hit, "Still D.R.E." And Snoop was absolutely digging it.

In the clip -- which was posted to Instagram by Ainslie and later shared by Snoop -- the "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper can be seen rocking out to the bagpipes cover of his hip-hop song.

Snoop appeared to have been fresh off his flight, wearing comfy airport wear, a beanie and headphones, and holding a cozy blanket in each hand. Despite his hands being full, it didn't stop the "Gin and Juice" artist from busting some serious moves to the piper's song. Before he got in his car to depart, Snoop threw Ainslie a thumbs up and nodded in approval.

"Just touched down in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🕵️‍♀️," he captioned the fun video.

Among those who commented on the clip were Rita Ora and Ncuti Gatwa. "Iconic," wrote Ora, while Gatwa chimed in, writing, "No. Way!"

In addition to footage of his performance -- and Snoop dancing -- the piper also shared a photo of himself and Snoop together. "Snoop Dogg getting into the pipes today!" he captioned the shot, below.

Fans reacted to the video in the comments section of Ainslie's post -- and they got really creative.

Rachel Zegler is not above working for a paycheck.

When asked by The Hollywood Reporter at the "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" premiere on Tuesday, "What made you wanna step into this world of DC heroes?" Zegler had a very candid response.

"I needed a job," she replied then added, "I'm being so serious."

"The reality is we're in the middle of a pandemic and I was not working and I couldn't get a job for the life of me, because West Side Story hadn't come out yet," Zegler went on to explain.

"It was really hard to book work for me," shared the actress.

The DC film, which is out in theaters, follows Billy Batson (Asher Angel) and his grown up alter-ego Shazam (Zachary Levi) as he must save the world from three gods, one of them being Zegler's character. The film also stars Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren.

"I loved the first movie, and the fact that they even wanted me to come in for a callback and then a camera read and then everything in between, I'm so lucky that I got this job," says Zegler in between smiling and giving love to her family and agent off-camera.

"I made some of my best friends on this job. I just absolutely adore this movie, too, so I'm excited."

Zegler has also been cast in Disney's live action "Snow White" remake alongside Gal Gadot, and the Hunger Games prequel "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes".

Punjabi Actor Aman Dhaliwal Attacked By Hatchet-Wielding Man Caught on Video at CA Gym: Police

The violent encounter was caught on camera inside a Planet Fitness gym an hour outside Los Angeles

Aman Dhaliwal, a Punjabi and Bollywood actor, was attacked by a man wielding a hatchet and a knife just outside Los Angeles on Tuesday, according to police.

The assault left Dhaliwal with multiple stab wounds to his upper body (pictured above right); he has since been released from hospital.

In shocking video captured inside a Planet Fitness gym, Dhaliwal can be seen restraining a man appearing to be in possession of both a hatchet and a knife. The 41-year-old actor is seen holding onto the arm carrying the hatchet, while the suspect seemingly brandishes a knife in his other hand. According to police, the suspect stabbed Dhaliwal with the knife while he was being restrained.

During one of the suspect's apparent outbursts captured in the footage, Dhaliwal takes the opportunity to then throw the man to the ground.

Only later, as the suspect is being held down by bystanders, do you see that Dhaliwal is covered in his own blood.

Per Corona police the incident took place just after 9am on Tuesday; authorities have identified the suspect as 30-year-old Ronald Chand, per ABC7 news.

Dhaliwal will reportedly fully recover from his injuries. He resides in nearby Riverside, CA.

The suspect, Chand, is said to have been briefly hospitalized for minor injuries before being transported to Robert Presley Detention Center under suspicion of attempted murder. Bail was set at $1 million.

Dhaliwal has worked on films such as "Ik Kudi Punjab Di" and "Ajj De Ranjhe" and Bollywood content, "Jodhaa Akbar" and "Big Brother."

Sharon Stone Says She Lost 'Half My Money to This Banking Thing' in Deeply Emotional Speech

"This is not an easy time for any of us," said the actress as she accepted the Courage Award at the Women's Cancer Research Fund's (WCRF) An Unforgettable Evening fundraiser.

Sharon Stone is sharing that she's been affected by the current banking crisis.

While accepting the Courage Award at the Women's Cancer Research Fund's (WCRF) An Unforgettable Evening fundraiser on Thursday night, the actress became emotional as she encouraged the audience to donate more money to important causes, revealing that she recently "lost half [of] my money to this banking thing."

"I know that thing that you have to get on and figure out how to text the money is difficult. I'm a technical idiot, but I can write a f---ing check," Stone quipped as the audience cheered.

She then became more serious, adding, "And right now, that's courage, too, because I know what's happening. I just lost half [of] my money to this banking thing, and that doesn't mean that I'm not here."

The "Casino" star didn't share further details regarding the "banking thing" she mentioned, however, she was seemingly referring to the recent collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, the second-largest bank failure in U.S. history.

Continuing her speech, Stone spoke about the "hard times" we're living in, and brought up the recent death of her brother, Patrick, who passed away at the age of 57 last month following a heart attack.

"My brother just died, and that doesn't mean that I'm not here," she explained. "This is not an easy time for any of us. This is a hard time in the world, but I'm telling you what, I'm not having some politician tell me what I can and cannot do. How I can and cannot live, and what the value of my life is and is not. So stand up. Stand up and say what you're worth. I dare you. That's what courage is."

Elsewhere, Stone opened up about her past breast cancer scare, stressing the importance of getting routine mammograms.

In her 2021 memoir "The Beauty of Living Twice," Stone revealed that she had benign tumors removed in 2001, writing that were "gigantic, bigger than my breast alone."

"Those mammograms are not fun," Stone said. "And for someone like me who was told that I had breast cancer because I had a tumor that was larger than my breast, and they were sure that I couldn't possibly have a tumor without it being cancer, it wasn't. But I went to the hospital, saying, 'If you open me up and it's cancer, please take both my breasts,' because I am not a person defined by my breasts."

"You know, that might seem funny coming from me since you've all seen 'em,'" she continued, adding, "You've all seen 'em since the surgery and you don't even know it. So don't ever feel compelled not to get a mammogram, not to get a blood test, not to get surgery because it doesn't matter."

"I'm standing here telling you I had one-and-a-half and more tissue of my breasts removed and none of you knew it," Stone said.

Graham Potter Reacts to Chelsea UCL Draw Against Real Madrid

The head coach of Chelsea Football Club, Graham Potter has reacted to his team's UEFA Champions League draw in the quarter-final against Real Madrid.

Potter was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the league game against Everton on Saturday, March 18th, 2023. The Englishman said his team is focused on winning the trophy just like every other team left in the competition.

I said we would try to win the Uefa Champions League. That is the same for the other seven clubs. We'll focus on Real Madrid when we get there. The feeling is excited, but I'd rather speak about Everton as that's the game tomorrow and the other stuff is a long way away.

This is the third consecutive season that both teams have been paired against each other in the knock-out stage of the tournament. Chelsea have only lost one of their seven games against Real Madrid in European competition indeed, they have the lowest percentage of losses against Real Madrid (14%) of any side to have played them more than five times in Europe.

Drew Barrymore has gotten wind of Hugh Grant's critique of her natural singing voice pre-autotune and crafted the perfect response to it.

On Thursday, "The Drew Barrymore Show" host took to her Instagram page (and her show's page) complete with a hairbrush mic to serenade her "Music and Lyrics" co-star.

After belting out a few lines from the film's "Way Back Into Love," Barrymore looked into the camera with a smile and said, "Oh Hugh ... bert, Hubert, that's for you!"

Earlier in the week, Grant's Wired Autocomplete Interview dropped online and in response to a question about whether he actually sings in 2007 rom-com "Music and Lyrics" the British actor instead roasted his costar.

"Yes, well I do, but I'm auto-tuned beyond belief," Grant said in reply ... and could have stopped there but didn't.

"Actually, that's not true, I'm auto-tuned a bit, but not as much as some," he added before dropping his costar into the conversation. "Drew Barrymore was in that film with me and I don't think she'd mind me saying her singing is just horrendous."

"I've heard dogs bark better than she sings," Grant said without prompting.

"But having said that," Grant continued, "Once they tuned her up she sounded way better than me because she's got heart and voice and rock 'n' roll whereas I sounded like Julie Andrews and I'm meant to be rock 'n' roll."

Julia Fox Breaks Silence on Brother's Arrest in Ghost Gun Raid

"I will say that I'm just, you know, embarrassed," the "Uncut Gems" actress said of her younger brother's arrest in a TikTok video

Julia Fox has broken her silence on the arrest of her brother, Christopher Fox, in a ghost gun raid in New York City earlier this month.

While it was widely known that her father had been briefly held by NYPD for questioning and was not charged in the raid, Julia wanted to make it clear that he had no involvement in the alleged crimes.

"My dad was released that night," the actress said in a video she posted to TikTok. "It was determined that he had no involvement and didn't really know what was going on."

Fox went on to defend her brother's character in the short video, stating: "I know my brother, and I've always known him to be the sweetest, most gentle guy, soft-spoken. He loves animals, loves to plant flowers, loves nature."

However, she did admit, "But I will say, both my brother and I have a lot of trauma."

"The difference is I'm scrappy, I'm a fighter," she went on to explain. "I was able to release a lot of that rage. Whereas Christopher, he internalized it."

Julia did remain hopeful though, saying that there was a "silver lining" to the messy situation in that "he's finally going to get the help that I've been trying to get him for so long."

Beyond that the "Uncut Gems" actress didn't want to say more in case it somehow affected her brother's ongoing legal situation.

She did add how she personally felt about it all: "I will say that I'm just, you know, embarrassed."

Last week, the NYPD's Ghost Gun Team said they found several untraceable firearm parts related to guns that can be made in a 3D printer as well as illegal narcotics in the raid on Christopher Fox in the Upper East Side.

NYPD said neighbors had tipped off police regarding suspicious deliveries. In the raid, cops said they found fentanyl, heroin, chloroform, a pill press, illegal firearms and materials often used to make explosives (something Julia appears to contest in the video above). Police do not currently believe terrorism is involved.

Christopher is facing multiple charges -- including criminal possession of controlled substance, manufacture of a machine gun, and criminal possession of drug paraphilia, per local ABC7.

At the time the department released a statement: "The NYPD will continue to fight relentlessly against illegal guns - against both the steady proliferation of traditionally-manufactured firearms and the increasingly prevalent numbers of illegal, untraceable but fully functioning weapons known as ghost guns."

Previously the suspect's famous sister told Highsnobiety that her sibling lived in NYC like her but was "not really around."

"He's like a mad scientist recluse," the "Uncut Gems" actress said. "He builds 3D printers for fun."

According to NYPD, the 3D-printed items found in their raid were used to make ghost guns.

Rema Gives Update On His Studentship Status At UNILAG

The Mavin/Jonzing World act made it known that the ASUU strike messed up his schooling plans.

Nigerian ace singer, songwriter, and performer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has given an update on his studentship status at the University of Lagos.

The 22-year-old superstar, who sometime in 2022 revealed that he got admission into Unilag to study creative arts as per his mother's wishes, has made it known that he has quit the school.

Speaking in a recent interview, the singer revealed that he is no longer interested in the schooling phase due to the ASUU strike that left most Nigerian students at home for several months.

Rema claimed that he had concrete plans on managing to be both a student and an artiste, but the strike collided with his plans, and even though schools are now back in session, it is not in his plans to go back to studying.

The UEFA Champions League is beginning to wind down as eight teams have booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The final eight teams include three clubs from the Serie A ( Inter Milan, AC Milan, and league leaders, Napoli). Two teams from the Premier League ( Chelsea, and Manchester City) booked their spot in the final eight. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Benfica completes the final list.

The draw will see a repeat of last season's Quater final game when Chelsea and Real Madrid locked horns for a place in the Semi-final. The Quater-final draw has served football fans one of the most fantastic pairings that will give joy to supporters of both teams and the neutrals.

Ben Savage Married Tessa Angermeier Last Month, Per Since-Deleted IG Post

An Instagram post featuring congratulations and stunning images from the wedding of Ben Savage and Tessa Angermeier from a month ago was apparently deleted shortly after the media started reporting the news.

It looks like Boy met wedding a month ago and most of us missed it! A since-deleted Instagram post from an apparent attendee congratulated "Boy Meets World" star Ben Savage for his marriage to Tessa Angermeier.

There were even pictures from the wedding, including the happy couple together and Tessa walking down the aisle with her father. The friend, Chloe Engelhardt, captioned her share, "Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Savage, we couldn't be happier for you 'guuuyyyss' 🤍👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️🥂."

In the first image, Ben and Tessa can be seen together holding hands. Ben's older brother Fred Savage is standing behind them, holding what appears to be an open binder. Could he have officiated the nuptials? A couple of bridesmaids also appear in the shot, looking on.

The second picture features Tessa coming down the aisle with her veil down and on the arm of an older gentleman (possibly her father). Tessa's since-deleted post included several other pictures from throughout the day, including some shots of the happy couple and their guests at the reception. You can see all the pictures at The Daily Mail.

Ben and Tessa began dating in 2018 and first announced their engagement in January, with a photo of the couple standing in front of a body of water. Tessa can be seen wearing an engagement ring on her finger.

"The best is yet to come," he captioned the Instagram post. Though they did not specify this was an engagement announcement, there were nevertheless several congratulatory comments, including from friends like Fred's "Wonder Years" costar, Danica McKellar

Since that post, neither Ben nor Tessa has addressed their nuptials publicly. Tessa's Instagram account is marked private, but her name is listed as Tessa J. Savage. Ben, meanwhile, announced that he is running for Congress as a Democrat to represent District 30 in California.

"I firmly believe in standing up for what is right, ensuring equality and expanding opportunities for all," he wrote on Instagram a week ago. "I'm running for Congress because it's time to restore faith in government by offering reasonable, innovative and compassionate solutions to our country's most pressing issues."
