Nigeria-born British boxer, Anthony Joshua has sent a message to his supporters ahead of this weekend's fight against Jermaine Franklin.

Joshua was speaking in an interview at the Red carpet launch party head of the fight where he confirmed that he would hang his fighting gloves if he loses the fight. He said the people are already asking for his retirement and he would fulfill their wish should he lose to Franklin.

A win for the former two-time champion could set him up for some of the big names in the game.

I will. I will retire if I lose, I'm not here to battle people. If people want me to retire I will retire. I am not going to fight if people don't want me to. It's not even about the money. It's about the competitor in you. That is what's important. It comes with the business and it comes with the territory, I know that. I know when I am retired, I am gonna be chilling. AJ will be hoping for a victory after back-to-back losses against new unified champion Oleksandr Usyk, who ended their rivalry with a split decision win over Joshua in Saudi Arabia in August 2022.

Portable, who is known for his unending controversy, has over time become an internet sensation that the public loves, cleverly riding on that wave to propel his musical career.

The singer, back with another drama took to Instagram live on Tuesday 28th of March 2022 to make it known to the world that police officers invaded his business place, a bar in Sango Ota, Ogun State, over claims that a fraudster (Yahoo boy) brought them there for him to be arrested.

The German was announced as the manager of the club on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 following the termination of Julian Nagglesmann who was sacked for having a dispute with the hierarchy at the Bavarians. Bayern posted a video of the German meeting with his new players on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023.

Tuchel's first game will be against his former club, Borussia Dortmund. However, the German's true test is the quarter-final clash against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.

Tems And Wizkid Win Big At The iHeartRadio Awards 2023

Singers Tems and Wizkid were the only Nigerian artists to have won their respective categories at the iHeartRadio music awards 2023.

Multiple award-winning singers and performers Wizkid and Tems were once again recognized for their creativity and talent at the recently concluded international award ceremony, the iHeartRadio awards 2023.

Tems had won two different categories at the award ceremony, namely the Afrobeats artist of the year and the Hip-hop song of the year with her collaboration with Future and Drake on the grammy award-winning song 'Wait For U.'

Wizkid had also tied Tems for the Afrobeats artist of the year award, making it his only award of the night.

Football Clubs Set to Cash out Big at FIFA 2026 World Cup | SEE DETAILS

The body governing football in the world, FIFA has announced that clubs will be rewarded more than usual at the 2026 World Cup.

The announcement was made by the body on Monday, March 27th, 2023, this decision means that clubs will get more money from the number of players that they have at the competition. FIFA will pay clubs $ 355 million [£290m] for releasing players for the 2026 World Cup which is a 75 percent increase from Qatar last year.

FIFA introduced the Club Benefits Programme at the 2010 South Africa World Cup, to help compensate clubs around the world for each day their players are away at the tournament. The new decision was taken after FIFA and the European Club Association [ECA] renewed their Memorandum of Understanding until December 31, 2030, at a summit in Budapest.

The FIFA statement which was released on its website read as follows:

The Club Benefits Programme, which compensates all clubs who release players for the men's World Cup, will now increase from $209 million for the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup to $355 million for the 2026 and 2030 tournaments.' This is a significant day for the future of football and its long-term stability. We are very happy to renew and strengthen our cooperation agreement with ECA, an important stakeholder representing clubs from all over Europe.

The ECA also backed FIFA's decision to increase the Club World Cup to 32 teams which is due to launch in 2025.

Nigerian heavyweight singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed the new clothing merch with German multinational corporation PUMA.

The Afrobeats poster-boy, who is a brand ambassador of the global brand, after walking the runway for the brand at New York Fashion Week followed the momentum with the new Africanized collection. However, the collaboration was put to a halt after the singer lost his son Ifeanyi in an unfortunate incident.

According to PUMA, the collection is described as "The first PUMA x DAVIDO collection, filled with bold, statement pieces inspired by the award-winning artist's roots."

The reports from Tottenham confirmed that Conte was allowed to let go from the club following his decision to call out the players after dropping two points against the Saints. Spurs led the game 3-1 until the 75-minute, however, the match ended 3-3 at St. Mary's Stadium.

OFFICIAL: First Team Chelsea FC Goalkeeper Receives New Contract

Chelsea FC has given one of its three first-team goalkeepers a new contract ahead of a new club football season.

London giants, Chelsea Football Club, has handed one of its three first-team goalkeepers a three years contract extension that would keep him at the club till 2026.

In an official statement released by the club today, Monday, March 27, 2023, the Blues confirmed that Marcus Bettinelli who had joined the blues in 2021, had signed a new contract that would keep him at the club till 2026.

The statement revealed:

Marcus Bettinelli has signed a contract with Chelsea which extends his stay at Stamford Bridge until at least the summer of 2026. The goalkeeper joined Chelsea in 2021, moving across west London from neighbours Fulham, where he had spent the previous 10 years.

Bettinelli has added strength to our goalkeeping options over the last two years, working with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy, while featuring among our substitutes on a regular basis in the Premier League, Champions League and domestic cup competitions.

The 30-year-old also has a winner's medal from last year's FIFA Club World Cup, where he was on the bench for both the semis and the final, as we beat Palmeiras to lift that trophy for the first time in our history.

Bettinelli also revealed why he made this choice. He revealed:

It is a privilege to be at a club like Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world, and a couple of years ago when I signed I was delighted to be here, delighted to sign. To be here now and see the club going through this transition and seeing what we are developing, it is amazing to be a part of and I am buzzing to be here for an extra couple of years.'

Member of the biggest boy group in the world, BTS, Park Jimin, has set a new record for K-Pop on the Spotify charts with the lead single off his debut album 'Face' titled Like Crazy' as the hit song peaked at number one on the global top songs daily chart for the digital streaming platform.

Jimin peaked at number one with 'Like Crazy' on the chart with over 6 million streams on the third day of its release making him the first and only solo Korean artist to achieve this feat. Jimin also joined BTS and Blackpink as the only Korean artist to ever achieve this feat.

The talented singer also became the Korean artist to record the highest debut on the Spotify Top Songs Nigeria (daily) charts with over 12,000 streams on the first day of its release breaking the previous record held by fellow member J-Hope with his collaboration with J Cole titled 'On The Street.'

His debut album 'Face' became the highest-selling album by a Korean solo artist on the first day. Also, it became the best-selling album by a Korean soloist in history, with over 1.3 million copies sold so far.

Liv Tyler Reportedly Back as Betty Ross In Captain America: New World Order

Tyler previously played the character opposite Edward Norton back in 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

Betty Ross and Liv Tyler are returning to the MCU.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tyler will reprise her role as Ross from "The Incredible Hulk" in the upcoming "Captain America: New World Order," which is currently filming in Atlanta. She previously appeared opposite Edward Norton's big green guy in the 2008 film, which was only the second movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Before their film, Jennifer Connelly played Ross in Ang Lee's "The Hulk" with Eric Bana, which is not considered MCU canon.

Tyler is the latest star from the 2008 movie to return to the MCU in the years since its release. While Mark Ruffalo took over from Norton as Bruce Banner, Tim Roth's Abomination returned for "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" and "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings."

William Hurt also reprised his role as Thunderbolt Thaddeus Ross -- Betty's father -- in "Captain America: Civil War," "Avengers: Infinity War," "Avengers: Endgame" and, lastly, "Black Widow," before his death in 2022. Harrison Ford is set to portray the character in the upcoming film. Tim Blake Nelson's villainous The Leader has also been confirmed to return.

"Captain America: New World Order" will be the first film with Anthony Mackie as the titular superhero. His old mantle, Falcon, will likely be passed down to Danny Ramirez -- who is reprising his role as Joaquin Torres from "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" in the flick. Also returning from that series is Carl Lumbly's super soldier Isaiah Bradley, with Shira Haas rounding out the cast as Israeli superhero Sabra.

The movie, from director Julius Onah, is due out May 3, 2024.

Heartstopper Star Kit Connor Shows Off Impressive Transformation In Shirtless Gym Photo

The actor reveals the story behind his new physique, which has also prompted some Marvel talk.

"Heartstopper" star Kit Connor shocked fans of the Netflix series over the weekend by showing off a new body transformation in photos and video from the gym alongside trainer, fitness YouTuber and lifter Nathaniel Massiah.

In a video of one of their workouts, the 19-year-old actor explained why he was getting so buff.

"The reason I got into the gym was kinda deep, to be honest," he said. "When I got cast in 'Heartstopper' ... the character that I'm based on is like 6' 2", very big. I was shorter than I am now, and skinnier."

Connor plays Nick in the television series based on Alice Oseman's comics of the same name, which revolves around two high school boys who fall for each other. Nick is a jock and athletic rugby player from the jump.

"When it got announced, there were some people on the internet going like, 'He's a bit too skinny to play him,'" Connor continued. "I saw that and was like, 'S---.' So I just started eating loads and I was like, if I'm eating this much, I might as well [work out]."

He said that he started just doing push-ups, which only defined his chest. "The boobies were getting quite large," he quipped, adding that he then started "properly hitting the gym."

As the gym photos started going viral on Twitter, so did the fan-casting about a possible role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Connor in the near future.

There's already been a pretty vocal group of fans hoping to see him cast as Hulking from the Young Avengers. In the comics, he's a superhero who is also the boyfriend of Wiccan.

Connor's "Heartstopper" costar and on-screen love interest Joe Locke has already been cast in the upcoming "Agatha: Coven of Chaos," with many assuming he'll play Wiccan. That character, also from the Young Avengers, also appeared as a child on "WandaVision" and is one of Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, and Vision's twins.

Ariana Madix on Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss' Post-Reunion Dinner: 'I Don't Follow That'

While Sandoval and Leviss had dinner, Madix spent the night after the reunion with fellow "Vanderpump Rules" cast members and martinis.

Ariana Madix is no longer concerning herself with the likes of Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss.

When the "Vanderpump Rules" star was asked about her thoughts on Sandoval and Leviss  grabbing dinner after taping the reunion last week, the 37-year-old reality star shared that she couldn't care less about the time they spend together.

Madix told Page Six, "I don't know what they do. I don't follow that," after TMZ reported the two went out for a bite at the Musso & Frank Grill in Hollywood on Thursday night. The outlet also claimed that nobody else from the cast joined them at dinner.

"At this point, I don't care about anything either of them does," the Bravolebrity said with a shrug.

According to TMZ, the pair didn't engage in PDA but sat closely together and resembled a couple at their dinner. The pair reportedly arrived at the iconic Hollywood eatery at 10 p.m. and talked about the taping -- with a source claiming Raquel was overheard saying, "I can't believe she said that."

The duo weren't the only "Vanderpump Rules" cast members who needed to decompress with a night out after filming the highly anticipated reunion special.

Ariana, Kristen Doute and Scheana Shay headed out to the bar following the taping. Doute posted a video to her Instagram Story of her former co-stars sharing a drink with the caption, "I love you girls and I'm so f---ing proud of you. #teamariana."

Scheana shared Doute's sentiments and showed her support for Madix to her own Story. Shay and Madix held matching espresso martinis as the 37-year-old declared, "We did it," before telling Ariana "love you" and sharing a kiss.

Also present at the festivities was former costar Dayna Kathan, who also took to social media to post a video showing the entire group -- including a very enthusiastic Ariana -- booing the television inside the bar as video of Raquel was shown on the screen.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Leviss revealed she dropped her temporary restraining order against Sceana ahead of filming the reunion after the two allegedly got into a physical altercation following the news of "Scandoval."

"I can confirm that my attorney took my case off the court calendar Wednesday and is filing the appropriate paperwork requested by the court today to dismiss the TRO from moving forward after the 29th. We let the court know I will not be moving forward with a permanent restraining order," the reality star explained. "My team tried to work with Scheana on a mutually beneficial agreement hoping to get the TRO dropped earlier so we could film [the reunion] together."

She continued, "The TRO was intended to provide a cooling-off period after I was punched but I didn't want to continue with the permanent RO nor did I want to cause Scheana further agony and stress."

Scheana denies punching Leviss, with her lawyer saying in a statement to TMZ that Raquel is a "liar and a cheat who has betrayed everyone close to her."

"Vanderpump Rules" airs Wednesdays on Bravo.

Lea Michele Returns to Broadway After Son's 'Scary Health Issue'

Lea Michele shared that her son is recovering after being hospitalized. "He's headed in a good direction and we're really, really grateful."

Things are looking up for Lea Michele and her son Ever Leo Reich, who is on his way to recovery after a "scary health issue."

Over the weekend, Michele returned to her performances of "Funny Girl" on Broadway after missing a couple of shows after her son with husband Zandy Reich was taken to the hospital. Though she didn't elaborate on his illness, she shared a video in full costume in which she said his condition has improved.

"I'm saying a quick hello from my dressing room here. I'm back at 'Funny Girl' tonight. I'm really happy to be back," said the former "Glee" star. "It's been a really long week, and we're still not out of the woods completely with our son. But he's headed in a good direction and we're really, really grateful."

The show's cast showed their support for Michele with a bouquet of flowers, which she also posted to her Instagram story. The attached card read, "Dear Lea & Zandy, We Are Sending Love And Support Your Way. Much Love, Your Funny Girl Family."

"I just want to say thank you to everyone for just so much love and support this week. I really, really appreciated it," she added. "And for everyone who's here tonight, I'm really excited and we're going to make it a good one, so OK, love you all."

In her initial announcement last Wednesday, Michele said she and her husband were "at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for."

Lea joined the cast of "Funny Girl" on Broadway shortly after Beanie Feldstein left the role following lukewarm reviews. It was recently announced that Michele is extending her run until September.

"I was originally only supposed to stay until June," Michele said on Live With Kelly and Ryan" earlier this month. "But I'm having such an amazing time and we have the most amazing cast and it is just such a beautiful experience."

"So myself, Tova Feldshuh, Ramin and Jared, we've all decided that we are going to see this to the end September 3rd."

The Kardashians are returning for a third season at Hulu and, if this teaser is to be believed, there's some drama on the horizon.

"Listen, everyone has their own truth of how they think something happened," Kim Kardashian teases at the start of the footage, before Khloe Kardashian pops up and adds, "I wish I could tell you this was going to be a mild, relaxing, serene season. It's not."

As the footage continues to roll, viewers see Kim in tears and her rocking the runway at the Dolce&Gabbana show, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker sharing some serious PDA in the ocean, and Khloe and Kendall Jenner roller skating.

At one point, Kourtney is seen talking with Khloe and friend Simon Huck, saying about someone, "There's no sense of loyalty." Scott Disick, meanwhile, pops up quickly to exclaim, "I've never seen this much drama in my life."

Amy Jo Johnson Clarifies Why She Didn't Return for New Power Rangers Movie

The original Pink Ranger gives some more insight into why she didn't return for the film, while confirming the late Jason David Frank "also turned down the movie."

Amy Jo Johnson is opening up about her decision against returning for Netflix's new "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" movie.

While her former costars David Yost and Walter Emanuel Jones are back in their suits for the new flick, "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always," Johnson -- the original Pink Ranger -- declined to return.

Back in January, when the movie was first revealed, she said that she "never said no" to the movie, but "just didn't say yes to what was offered." At the time, she also said she was excited to see her "friends kick ass."

Those comments were interpreted by some to mean she wasn't offered enough money to do the movie -- but now, she's saying that's not the case. "Please stop saying I didn't do reunion because of money," she tweeted out on Sunday, "Simply not true."

"Maybe I just didn't want to wear spandex in my 50s or couldn't go to NZ for a month. Or none of ur beeswax," she added.

Johnson went on to confirm that fellow former Ranger Jason David Frank also turned down the movie, saying it was filmed before his death in November 2022. "JDG & I both chose not to for our own reasons," she added -- before reiterating she was "Excited to see my pals @David_Yost & @Walterejones rock it though!!"

"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always" also includes Catherine Sutherland (the second Pink Ranger), Steve Cardenas (the second Red Ranger), Karan Ashley (the second Yellow Ranger) and Johnny Yong Bosch (the second Black Ranger), as they face off against a robot Rita Repulsa.

In the film, it appears Rita is responsible for the death of the original Yellow Ranger, Trini Kwan. The character was played by Thuy Tran on the series, though she left the show and tragically died in a car accident in 2001. The character's daughter will have a role in the movie.

The movie premieres April 19 on Netflix.

The Band Perry Announces 'Creative Break' as a Group

Is the band DONE as we know it?

The Band Perry won't be a band for the foreseeable future.

On Monday, the trio -- made up of siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry -- announced they're officially disbanding to go solo.

"We wanted to let you know that the three of us have decided to take a creative break as a group and each focus on our individual creative pursuits," they shared in a joint statement to Instagram.

"During this season we will continue to support each other as artists and family in all we do," they added. "Thank you for making our childhood dreams come true!"

The country group first signed to Republic Nashville's Big Machine imprint in 2009, before releasing their self-titled debut album in 2010. The album included a number of their massive hits, including "If I Die Young," "You Lie" and "All Your Life."

Their followup album, "Pioneer," dropped in 2013 and spawned several more big hits -- like "Better Dig Two," "DONE" and "Don't Let Me Be Lonely." But a third album at Big Machine never materialized, despite the band telling Rolling Stone in 2018 that they did record one.

"It was just one of those things where we were in a genre that was changing its own identity," Reid said at the time. "And we were in a place where people on our team and in our career were feeling like we needed to align ourselves with the genre changing itself."

They later left Big Machine to sign with Interscope, but their planned pop album "Bad Imagination" there was totally shelved as well. They went on to Interscope behind too, before independently releasing an EP, "Coordinates," in 2018.

Judges Katy Perry and Luke Bryan were thrown for a loop, but for Richie, Stewart's appearance was more like a reunion.

"American Idol" judges were in for a "blast from the past" when '80s legend Dave Stewart decided to accompany his daughter Kaya during her audition for a spot on Season 21.

Before the hopeful singer-songwriter was able to introduce herself, judge Lionel Richie was left star struck when her father took his place by her side.

"Oh, wait. What?!" the 73-year-old "Hello" artist said, doing a double take. "Say the backup musician is who?"

Though judges Katy Perry and Luke Bryan were also thrown for a loop, for Richie, Stewart's appearance was more like a reunion.

"We were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together, and it was an evening we will never forget," he reminisced. "And just to have you with your daughter, I think is so cool."

After introducing Stewart as "dad," Kaya opened up about her long history with music and how much it's been a part of her life since before she was even born.

"When I was born, my dad was on tour, and I was going to shows when I was still in my mom's tummy," she shared. "The musician's lifestyle is something that's just been part of my life. There was never a question of what I wanted to do with my life. [Music] was always going to be what I was going to do."

The 22-year-old revealed she would be performing "This Tattoo," an original song she co-wrote with her father while he accompanied her on guitar.

"I wouldn't want to do it any other way," Kaya gushed.

After she "slayed" her audition, the judges praised the "In Love With" singer for her performance.

"I'm going to tell you the truth, because the truth is what we are about," Richie commended the young singer. "So, first of all, from the songwriting part of it and the pressure of being here, I give you so much props. And the fact that your dad showed up, I give him props. I mean, there's a whole lot of props here. In the midst of all of this, you slayed it. I love the tone of your voice and you're an artist; you're really an artist."

Though Bryan said Kaya's life-long experience with the stage was evident in her audition, Perry warned the "American Idol" hopeful that the judges would "probably be a bit more nit-picky" and "push her to her limit — and probably past it" as she "knows the business."

With a resounding "yes" from all three judges, Kaya progressed to the next round and headed to Hollywood.
