West Ham have exceeded all expectations this season to sit fifth in the Premier League at present, three points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea ahead of their game-in-hand on the west London outfit. Moyes' side are in the midst of a tight race to secure a top-four finish and Champions League qualification this season, with just four points between Chelsea in fourth and eighth-placed Tottenham ahead of the division's run-in. West Ham host Arsenal at the London Stadium on Sunday with the visitors arriving in need of points in their own push for Europe, and Moyes insists the game represents a great chance for his side to make a statement and maintain their Champions League chase. "Incredibly important match if we're pushing for the top four which we want to do. The top four is not something people were talking about before the season but we're going to try to do our best for it." Moyes said at his pre-match press conference. "It would be terrific if we could win, because we've done well at home and we're showing consistency in our form here." "We're in a period where we've had some difficult games, and I remember when those fixtures were brought out at the start of the season people were like: 'Wow, West Ham have a tough start'. We're in that run again now." "We want to hang in there, we want to keep up with the top boys and we want to pick up as many wins as we can."
