Sonny Bill Williams will return to the Sydney Roosters and help to mentor superstar teenager Joseph Suaalii.
Nine NRL reporter Danny Weidler revealed the development in his Sun Herald column, reporting that SBW appeared at the club's training facility last Thursday.
"SBW also met with Roosters chairman Nick Politis, who has long wanted the dual international to have a role with the club post-football. Politis wants it even more after signing Suaalii. The pair will work well together," Weidler wrote.

Williams was a hero of the Roosters' 2013 premiership and made a cameo appearance for the club late last season. He was a hyped young superstar when he won a title with the Bulldogs in his debut NRL season, back in 2004, meaning he has walked in Suaalii's shoes.
Suaalii made a sensational appearance for North Sydney, a Roosters feeder club, in a trial last weekend - in which he scored two tries against Canberra.
It is expected that Suaalii will be given an age exemption to play in the NRL from early this season, despite not turning 18 (the usual minimum) until August.
