Chelsea supporters were hit by a dose of nostalgia after witnessing Jose Mourinho and John Terry's embrace after the Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa clash yesterday.
Two former Blues united in a hug that sent shivers of emotion down the spine of fans who basked in the pair's success during their time together at Stamford Bridge.
Although they were in opposing dugouts for the day, Mourinho and Terry will always share an unbreakable bond thanks to their Chelsea connection.
Terry won three Premier League's in two separate spells under Mourinho's stewardship.
Their most infamous of silverware successes was in 2004/05.
A first season on English shores for the Portuguese coach couldn't have gone much better, romping to the title thanks to an immaculate defensive record.
The 15 league goals Chelsea conceded that campaign still stands as a top flight record, one mastermind by Mourinho and influenced by Terry.
They were crowned English champions the following term and once more in 2014/15, following Mourinho's return to South West London.
Throw in the FA Cup and two League Cups, it's safe to say the player and manager enjoyed working with one another.
Both went their separate ways after Chelsea. Mourinho went onto manage Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Spurs, where he currently resides.
Terry spent his final footballing days with Aston Villa before becoming a coach for Dean Smith's side.
