Brazil's top-class defender, Thiago Silva has extended his contract with Chelsea Football Club.
The contract extension was confirmed on the official website of Chelsea Football Club on Friday, February 10th, 2023. He signed a deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2024.
Silva expressed his delight at his contract extension at the London club.
When I signed my first contract here, it was to just do one year. Now it is already the fourth! It's very special moment for me to sign and stay at Chelsea.
Silva joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window of the 2020/2021 season when Frank Lampard was the manager of the club. He had won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super League, and the Club World Cup.
