Following the tragic passing of South African hip-hop veteran AKA, his management has revealed plans to roll out his first posthumous album dubbed 'Mass Country'. Building up to the release, they've released one of the singles from the project titled 'Company' featuring a familiar collaborator, KDDO (Kiddominant).
The last time we AKA and KDDO (Kiddominant) collaborated on a track, they created one of the best South African/Nigerian collaborations of all time; talking about the critically acclaimed 'Fela in Versace'. The West and Southside kings are back to it once again on the mellifluous tune, 'Company'.
Speaking on the track, KDDO wrote via his Instagram page: "I know how much this project meant to you. You put your heart and soul into this shit and that's one thing we shared, the passion for creating undeniable art. We planned to shut the continent down together again like we did in '19 and take it global this time. It feels so surreal, so painful. Heaven gained a rockstar. Megacy is the Legacy for life. Love you brother #LongLiveSuperMega @akaworldwide – 'Company' Out Now."
'Company' is produced by KDDO.
