The manager of Paris Saint-Germain, Christophe Galtier, has given an update on Lionel Messi's injury.
Galtier was speaking at a pre-match conference ahead of this weekend's Ligue 1 game against Monaco. He confirmed Messi would not be available for this weekend's game but he return to training ahead of the UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
The 35-year-old sustained the muscular injury during his side's midweek Coupe de France defeat at Marseille. However, PSG will be without Kylian Mbappe who picked up a muscular injury in the last league game against Montpellier.
PSG will be looking to revenge against Bayern following their defeat in the final of the Champions League in 2020.
