Arsenal Football Club will be without its top defender this season, William Saliba as they take a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City.
Saliba suffered the injury against Sporting Lisbon on March 16, 2023, there is a big concern among the Arsenal camp that he would miss the rest of the season.
The Gunners are heading into the game with their heads bowed low as they look to win their Premier League title for the first time in 19 years. Saliba's absence at the heart of Arsenal's defense has been a big blow in their last three games against Liverpool, West Ham United, and Southampton dropping six massive points.
Manchester City will be licking their lips as they welcome the Gunners hoping they can get maximum points following the form of Erling Haaland. The Norwegian will be a threat to Arsenal's defenders as they look to reduce the five points deficit to two points with two games in hand.
The Gunners top the league table with 75 points after playing 32 games while City are in second position with 70 points after 30 games. Arsenal fans will hope Saliba recovers in time for the remaining matches of the season.
