Sadio Mane could be on his way out of Bayern Munich if the decision of the club's executives does not go in favour of the captain of the Terenga Lions.
Mane is said to have punched his team-mate, Leroy Sane, in a dressing room altercation that took place after their 3-0 defeat to Man City on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023. Sky Sports Germany reported that Mane will make an apology to the rest of the Bayern Munich squad later today, as club chiefs continue to assess the situation.
The outlet also reported that Bayern's bosses are weighing up sanctions such as fines, suspensions, or outright termination of his contract at the club.
German winger Sane appeared to cover his injured lip after landing back in Munich. The Senegal international Mane is said to have been picked up by a separate vehicle from Munich Airport, whereas Sane caught the coach with the rest of the squad.
This incident will present manager Thomas Tuchel with more headache as Bayern look to bounce back from their defeat against Manchester City.
