The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped in the latest ranking which was released by the body governing football in the world, FIFA.
The two-time African Champion drooped to sixth place in Africa and move from the 35th position to the 40th position following their defeat on Match Day 3 against Guinea Bissau. The Atlas Lions of Morocco maintained their position as the continent's number one team and 11th in the world.
The 2022 Africa Cup of Nations Champions, Senegal moved to 18th position in the world and are second in Africa while Tunisia moved to 28th in the world and third in Africa.
World Cup Champions, Argentina moved to the number one position in the globe for the first time in six years by overtaking their South American rivals, Brazil who moved to third place while France are the second-placed team in the World.
