The talented Ghanaian rapper was one of the highlights of the 2023 VGMAs.
Ghanaian sensational rapper Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, popularly known as Black Sherif, won Artiste of the Year at the just concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The 2023 VGMAs saw some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry in Africa pick up wins in major categories.
Following his 2022 win in the "best new artiste" and "hip-hop song of the year,", Blacko made a comeback on the 2023 VGMAs stage with a grand win in the "Artiste of the Year" category, beating heavyweights like Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, KiDi, Piesie Esther, and Joe Mettle.

Taking to social media, the 21-year-old rapper reacted to the win, appreciated his creator and his fans. He wrote:
