The manager of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag has given an update on the fitness of Marcus Rashford ahead of the remaining three games of the season.
The Dutchman confirmed that Rashford trained with the team throughout the week but he missed the training today ( Friday) due to an illness. Ten Hag confirmed the news at a press conference ahead of this weekend's game against Bournemouth.
Rashy, he trained the whole week but today he reported he doesn't feel well so he's ill. We have to see how he recovers during the day and then see tomorrow.
Manchester United will need Rashford to be in good form as they look to secure a spot in the top four at the end of the season. They are currently in fourth place with 66 points, one point behind Newcastle United.
The Red Devils play Bournemouth, Chels,ea and Fulham in the next eight days.
