Former Super Eagles star and Olympic gold medalist, Wilson Oruma has reacted to rumours circulating about him being sick.
Following a rumour of him being sick and bedridden circulating on social media, former Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder and Olympic gold medalist at Atlanta 96, Wilson Oruma has shared a video debunking such a report assuring Nigerians that he is hale and hearty.
The legendary football star in the video assured Nigerians he was doing well and thanked them for their unending support and love.
Wilson Oruma who had been an integral part of the Super Eagles of Nigeria during his playing days before his retirement in 2010 opened up on how he was duped of a huge sum of money estimated to be close to over 2 billion naira while trying to invest in the oil sector in 2018.
This had led to him falling sick but ex-teammates and the former NFF president Amaju Pinnick had provided support for him during this period and this led to him regaining his health.
