PSG star Lionel Messi has broken his silence for the first time since his suspension for two weeks by the French club.
Amidst the uncertainty of his future, PSG and Argentine star Lionel Messi has spoken for the first time since his suspension by the French Club following his unsanctioned trip to Saudi Arabia.
The Argentine received a suspension from PSG for two weeks by the club ruling him out of the next two games in the French Ligue 1. Messi shared his video, where he explained that he had been postponing the trip and had to go this time around. He apologized for the uncertainty that surrounded the club following the trip.
He said:
"I thought we were going to have a day off after the game as always. I had this trip organized and I couldn't cancel it. I had already canceled it before…"
"I apologize to my teammates and I'm waiting for what the club wants to do with me. Big hug to everyone".
