Rudiger will be entering into the final 12 months of his current deal at the end of this season. He has been with the Blues for nearly four years after signing from Roma in 2017 for £29m (BBC Sport). Rumbles did start to appear about Rudiger being presented a fresh deal before the campaign's conclusion, following his notable contribution under Thomas Tuchel. Kicker refuted this and instead reported that the German would make a decision on his Chelsea future after he's met up with the national team in June. The Euros offers a perfect shop window opportunity for clubs to gaze at possible player purchases they could make after the tournament. It would be understandable if Rudiger had plenty of potential buyers. His performances over the past two months have arguably been the finest he's achieved during his Chelsea career.
